When I lived in Dallas I came here often and I can only say good things. Tom is super friendly and the quality of the computers is great. Cheap snacks and beverages available as well. Tom also built me a computer when I moved so I could continue gaming!

Very nice staff and very relax. I like the environment that the place has and the vibe. In addition the loud but competitive part of it. Speed is really good over 750 Mbps and the owner is VERY nice and relax. 5/5

Fantastic place to kick back and play video games.

The experience was great. It was pretty easy to set up an account for your first time going. The quality was really great especially for how cheap it happened to be. The experience was great, the quality was good, and everything else was simple to set up. I highly recommend this place if your looking for an e-sports practice place after school, and I highly recommend going by just for an hour or two to enjoy yourself.

This place was everything I ever wanted in an internet cafe type of deal... you know seeing as its just a lounge for people to play games and browse the internet, no real cafe part, so cant expect to see women there serving tasty beverages and food. But anytime there are nerds in an air conditioned environment, eliminating the chance of con funk Im happy really.

Best place to game in the area... the owner is one of the coolest and most down to earth people you will ever meet.

My boy Sean was so great! And if youre new the registration process is quick and easy. The snacks and drinks were nice and at a good price. Also the buy 3 hours get one free is cool.

So much fun! I’ve never been to a place like this before and visited on a whim. Mr.Tom the owner is so awesome I would recommend his business to anyone, as well as Mr.Shon who was very cool!!! I got a Christmas gift I won’t forget 😩💛Overall it was a nice experience and the computers ran great no internet issues or lag. The headsets and chairs were nice, comfortable and adjustable. Forgot to mention the dim lighting and great snack prices!

Great place. I went there to update all my games on ps4 took about an hr and I updated around 40 gigs. Cost me 2.50$ love this place I will definitely be coming back.

My favorite hourly internet cafe. I plop in here for computer time - a great alternate venue if youre tired of coffee shops or pretentious co-working places - and if you enjoy a *dark* room. (Note: have a backlit keyboard!) If I had a real job that let me work fully-remote Id be here a lot. But as of now I come here just for the chill cyberpunk aesthetic and - to maintain healthy eyesight - a space that lets me alternate my focus between my laptop and the e-sports projected on a big screen in the background.

Really great place for playing video games, the prices are pretty cheap and they usually have deals hoing on that make it even cheaper. This place saves all time you do not spend, so you can keep coming back and not pay if you still have time. Really nice staff and a really great place in general, I highly recommend it to anyone.

I have been coming to Shadowlan for 13 years!!! This place is great for gaming parties. Owner is really cool and will work with you and your budget!! Its a nice place to go beat the heat and hang out, plenty of drinks and snacks. Look forward to next visit!

This stop is pretty nice, cool atmosphere due to the led lights. Its definitely a place a recommend if you ever wanted to try pc gaming and you dont want to spend money on building a PC or if youre an avid gamer, you can take your gear and use it there. Cool place to chill.

The owners were awesome and very accomodating! They let me install my own games and play since i was away from home. Super nice staff, super cool place with tournaments always running on the big screen! Awesome time!

The owner is a great guy, he works with our local school to support our esports team with discounts. The place is nice, great computers & monitors. All the computers have 144hz displays now I believe. Really great place to bring friends to match hours with (:

I honestly never have write a review once ever but this place is really good the owner there is so nice and he Likes to have conversations about gaming and stuff the place in general is in good condition the pcs are good the internet is good and overall amazing place definitely worth trying it out and I’m for sure going again on the weekends!!

This place is amazing has saved the day more than once for neighboring businesses. Tom is a great host and although I found this place for business it has reminded me what a pleasure the gaming industry is.

I love this place. I have 2 PCs I built, and a gaming laptop (Predator Helios 300) and another ASUS laptop (thats 3 I-7s and ddr4 GPUs)....but I still go. I like the atmosphere and their staff is pretty cool (for gamers anyways kappa). Im the only one that plays Heroes of the storm. My point is I could play at home but I like to go there. Its one of those places that feels like home away from home (dallas is not my home I just ended up here). It feels like every gamers room...or basement kappa. I love not having lights on. Oh take a long sleeve shirt, PCs always generate heat so they have very good AC since they have so many PCs.

Does not auto update, so you have to wait and wait. Complete time suck and I would not recommend and Im shocked others gave this place 5 stars. Waste-of-money and time.

Look no further for gaming on console or very powerful PCs. Im in town on business and they had PUBG and many others ready to roll. Played 11 straight hours, no issues with the hardware or environment. Id recommend bringing your own headset, the store headset is very basic, but the rest is ace.

Climate controlled environment, great for keeping ya cool especially when working up a bit of a sweat when beating down on the keys getting the drop on the enemies. Staff are great and very helpful. Highly recommended.

I was visiting Dallas for a week and the staff here could not have been more friendly and helpful. The place was great and they even let me go into admin mode to set up my G600 mouse.10/10

My roommate and I checked this place out after moving further away from our usual gaming cafe in Carrollton and were pretty sure the lack of sanitation made her sick. Maybe the place were used to is just really nice, but we were really excited for Shadow LAN and it was kind of a let down. Let me say again: MAYBE I JUST SUCK AND HAVE STUPID STANDARDS. I just wanted to give my honest take:MINOR ISSUESMost of the little issues arent that critical if youre desperate:+Their prices are a little steep, but they also arent technically a gaming cafe so they dont have any food or drinks to make money off of. $100 for a year is a lot, but understandable. Also theres no competition in the area so they can charge whatever they want.+Its really dark...which makes sense in theory, but causes issues when youre there for a really long session. I had a headache an hour in and thats never been an issue for me at home or at other places.+Its kind of musty. TO BE FAIR its a room full of hot computers and mostly sweaty teenage boys. The building is old so-- again -- understandable.MAJOR ISSUESThe thing I really couldnt get past was the sanitation issues. The second we sat down we noticed that the headsets had windscreens (the little sponges that cover the mics). Usually this would be okay, but at a communal place with more that few people talking into the mics over the course of a week I feel like having a spit soaked sponge in my face isnt ideal. The guy next to us was a serious mouth breather and I heard a few coughs and sneezes as we were playing so I just kind of kept it away from my face. The thing I couldnt avoid was the keyboard, which I noticed was pretty gunky after shining my phone light on it. Lots of hands touch those things...Im glad I noticed. If it hadnt been so dark Im sure I would have noticed other things.Besides that monitors were a little weak. AGAIN, maybe my last few spots just turned me into a snob, but if Im paying 6 bucks and hour Id like a display nicer than one I could get for like $150 online. I could be wrong but those things seemed to refresh at like 60hz.I downed a glass of Alka-Seltzer when I got home because my throat was feeling scratchy. My roommate didnt and shes been sick for the last few days. Were both convinced it was from Shadow LAN. You risk getting sick pretty much every time you wander outside, but take extra steps if you decide to stop by because they definitely dont.We really wanted to like this place. Its not terrible if you dont have any other options, but we wont go back. Well deal with a lower FPS at home or make the drive to K-Town.

Had a great time with some friends at an overnight lock in! So great to be able to play all our favorite games, together, while not having to deal with all the lag!

I have frequented Shadow LAN Gaming for over 10 years now.Tom(the owner) and the staff there are great. It is a great place for gaming and a good place to host a party. They have a good variety of games on their P.C.s and the internet quality is great. They have good equipment, excellent internet. Kid friendly and a great atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I brought my gaming laptop here thinking I could kick back and play some games I bought off of Steam. When I installed and booted up South Park: The Stick of Truth one of the employees said I couldn’t play it because it had content which was not suitable to play in the store. The Stick of Truth is rated M for Mature 17+ like many of their games they have installed on their desktops such as Battlefield 4, Left 4 Dead, and Counter Strike: GO. I feel like the people who work here have double standards with regards to what kind of content they allow to be played here. I will not be coming back here again.

In town for work for a couple months and was sad i wasnt gonna be able to play overwatch or pubg, gave this place a shot and its really great. They have dozens of very reasonably up to date hardware at a very reasonable hourly rate ($3 an hour with a $12 membership which is breakeven at $60 if you go at the $5 per hour rate). Great ambience, no natural sunlight, fantastic and super knowlegable staff.

This place is a hidden gem. The owner and I chatted for quite awhile and then I gamed for hours. Anytime I come into town Ill be visiting here. Huge tvs, good pcs
