Look at this spammy and disgusting email they sent out, allegedly for Dell. This is what you get for outsourcing your business operations.I dont even know how they got my personal information.
This was my first job out of college and boy was being one of their contractors a learning experience. I got offered a position for a major national corporation through them. The pay was extremely low, even for a recent grad, for that area but I took the experience with an esteemed company as a trade off. A few months into the job and I realized I was missing weeks of pay at a time. I had to go back and forth with the consulting firm to get this resolved. No benefits were offered whatsoever. So on holidays when I was mandated not to work, I had no pay. This was particularly difficult in the November-December months as I lost nearly an entire paycheck due to holidays. The company I was working at had a policy that contractors could only be employed in a position for 30 months. I was at 24 months when I took a position with a new company as a direct hire (but was found via a different consulting firm). The moment I tendered my resignation, AVA Consulting’s demeanor changed entirely. The owner became extremely rude and eventually non-responsive. Almost immediately, I began receiving threatening emails from both the owner’s email address and the admin’s email address demanding money they claim I owe (I don’t). Years later, I still receive these threatening emails. I tried to contact the company earlier in the year in case they had been hacked, but was laughed at.I value my experience with the company I was placed with, but working with AVA Consulting was and continues to be horrific despite no longer being their contractor.
I needed a Job and the Folks at this Company have done everything in my view to help me. They have followed up with me consistently. I really appreciate that. I continue to work with them. They genuinely care. Better than any other Staffing Company I have come across.
This company has THE ABSOLUTE WORST english--every staff I have EVER come across!! I guarantee, every single week I am contacted by this outfit about a position. I complete the necessary paperwork and then get a call from these people. Not once, NOT A SINGLE TIME has their been a person from here been able to speak understandable American English! NOT ONCE! Every week someone calls me and ends my search with them! I cant understand anything they say! Im usually pretty good deciphering when a foreigner speaks to me, Im better than most actually. Ive not ever been able to understand what anyone from here says. Theyre all from the middle East or there abouts, and their English is horrible. They truly have no business speaking to the American public with such thick foreign accents. Their English is the worst Ive ever heard. Honest!
So, at 11:13 AT NIGHT, I receive a text from Andy with AVA. After asking why hes contacting me so late, he says that due to COVID, they are having to work late hours. So.....#1 SHAME on AVA for putting things on their recruiters shoulders to work this late into the night that theyre INTERRUPTING most peoples sleep time as well as their employees sleep time!#2 AVA- teach your recruiters to text from phone numbers that are local to the state that the people they are trying to recruit, live in.#3 AVA- teach your recruiters that most people DO NOT want to hear from anyone other than family or close friends after about 8pm.#4 AVA- UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE to this decade at least if youre even remotely legit. FFS! Your last update was {© Copright 2013 AVA Consulting.}#5 AVA- teach your recruiters to use proper grammar, punctuation, & sentence structure in their texts if they want to SEEM like LEGIT business people who want to potentially represent jobseekers!I mean, as a seeker- just seeing those (either lazy or uneducated) mistakes from someone representing YOUR business tells me that I am more qualified than they at representing me & that your company hires people who do NOT have skills in written communication. That says to me that your company is either bogus or EXTREMELY uncaring about its image- in which case why the H3LL would I chance being associated with your company?
Its a SCAM. They take your information and use it.
I missed a call from this number and when I called the number back, an incredibly rude person answered and said her name was Kim. She said, You need to check your voicemail to find out who called you. I advised her that they didnt leave a voicemail for me check. I asked to speak to a manager and she said shes the only one there. I told her I needed her managers name and number and she said, Youre not getting it from me. and she hung up in my face. HORRIBLE customer service. I would NEVER use this company for any reason.
I received a job offer that says it starts in July. It’s either really late or really early since it’s December. I don’t live in the state for the job anyway but I doubt it’s legit.
Consistently spams me with emails for positions that are not even close to my experience. I didnt sign up for these emails and have tried to unsubscribe multiple times. They are now junk mail.
They have called, texted and emailed me 3 to 4 times a day to offer me a job at dell. I work there already. They have never read my resume
Recieved a phonecall from a man identified as Sal with a heavy accent, didnt speak clear english. I called to follow up with the actual Richardson office and was answered by a female who identified herself as Kimberly and when I asked if she could hear me, she replied I can now, come on. Highly unprofessional, rude. Seems like a scam or just not a reputable company.
Had a very good experience. They are professional and one of the few companies that actually got back with a Status. Continue to work with them in my search.
Spam emailed me to request I send them my resume. Im not looking for a job and I dont know how they got my contact information.
Know issues with them.
Nothing but spam calls and email.
Very disrespectful
