Action Video has been my go-to business for video transfers, slide transfers and scanning old photos for years.The staff is always patient, considerate and professional. My experience with Action Video Service was fantastic. My dad died several years ago and my mom this past year and in cleaning out their home, we found multiple reels of old home movies and no way to view them. My brother found Action Video Service through an internet search and after reading the reviews, we decided to give them a try. I really didnt know what I wanted and on my first visit there, the employee that waited on me was very patient in explaining all of my options and the costs associated. I left a box of old movies and was told the wait would be 3-4 weeks due to a backlog of customers. I was pleased when I was contacted earlier than the time expected and on returning to pick up my order, I left additional personal VHS tapes to be converted to digital files. That order was completed in a couple of days. I left one final order of movies that had belonged to my parents and again, received my order in a couple of days. Their work was exemplary - exactly what was promised and quickly. I felt so much better leaving my memories with a local company rather than mailing them off to who knows where. A++ experience! They converted Betamax and 8mm tapes to DVD that I then easily converted to .mp4 and was able to share with all of our family locally and overseas! I couldnt be happier with the service I received from Action Video Service. I had many years of VHS tapes, 8 MM cassettes and mini cassettes of home movies without a way to watch them. I finally gathered them all up and took them to be converted on DVDs and Im so glad I finally did. Its been so much fun to go back and relive all of these old memories. AVC did a great job! Took a VHS that was previously converted from 16mm years ago and now had it converted to DVD. I am so pleased, these were wedding videos from 1950-1954. This one was a little blurry but thats because the original was. I also took a 1997 VHS home video that was previously converted from 8mm to VHS that turned out perfect! I couldnt be more pleased with the customer service and quick turn time. I am one of those that does not want to mail these precious keepsakes in somewhere not knowing if they will get lost and never see them again. I had mine completed in less than a week! I will be back with more, cant wait! How many people have old home movies stored in the attic? Take them down and bring them to Action Video so you can enjoy the memories! Highly recommend!

Lance and crew are magicians! They took a pair of plastic records that were made in 1944 of a shortwave broadcast and blended the better parts of both into one recording and laid the track down on a CD. These records are one of a kind and irreplaceable and they took great care in the way they were handled. I feel like they felt these personal items of mine were every bit as important to them as they are to me. I could not ask for anything to have been better, this job was fast, accurate and more than fairly priced. After 30 years of good intentions to have our videos put on DVDs for us to actually watch and enjoy, I finally took the step and contacted Action Video Service. I was so impressed with how quickly they took care of my tapes, how good the quality was of the DVDs and how reasonably priced they were. Thank you Lance Gray and staff for helping me get my 30 year project done. I cant wait to have more tapes transferred. The best part to me is that they do NOT mail my tapes out to anyone else. They took special care with my precious memories. It was so fun to watch these tapes with our 30 year old daughter that has never seen herself as a baby and to see loved ones that are no longer with us. The best was hearing our daughter say aww look how cute she is. I will be using AVS again.

I had a 35mm slide of a vintage cyclist that my husband loves and needed the slide turned into a jpeg. I had trouble finding a good place but Action Video took care of it for me! The results were excellent, the turn around time was really fast, and Nigel answered all my questions with patience. Highly recommend this place.

After my camcorder died I had no way of digitizing my remaining Mini DV tapes. Took them in to Action Video Service and they did a quick turnaround and the quality is good. I enjoyed working with them and will be back if I find more old tapes I need to convert!

For my parents 50th wedding anniversary we wanted to surprise them with a video of photos from their 5o years together. There were old photos from the beginning of their marriage that had been developed, in addition to more recent digital photos. Action Video Services has a very user friendly website that helped us get organized, and then we dropped off all our old photos plus a jump drive with our newer digital photos and music we selected for the video. They put them together into a beautiful montage. They incorporated the music wed selected, and the video had lovely transitions and timing with the music. It was superbly done. We also had them convert old slides and old 8mm film reel into DVDs. Its been so fun to see these old pictures that had been locked away for decades in a format we couldnt view. It was definitely a worthwhile investment, and our parents were ecstatic. I highly recommend Action Video for any projects like these!
