We need to get a quote for the replacement of windows. LWW&D sent us Dave Judge and we want to express a great appreciation of his advise. Unlike other companies (Home Depot for one), no one mentioned us that there were other options other than replacing windows. Dave examined our frames and said that if he were us, he would think about an alternative - replacing only glass panels because the frames were in good shape. We were quite amazed because thats not how typically most of companies work - they want to tear everything apart and build their own.That was the case with our kitchen - instead of saving a perfectly fine cabinets we were pushed hard to rebuild everything. I met with Michael several times and ended up ordering 23 Milgard windows and doors to replace the ones in our 1986 home. Then I coordinated with Amy as the project manager and Luis as the site foreman. I was impressed that Luis crew had the job done in two days - thats amazing. Lastly, Larry came out after the job was done and helped with an emergency request and it worked out great. All these people made the new windows project much easier than I thought it would be.

We worked with the sales team to find the right solution for us including making modifications that allowed for us to appreciate our view more. The installation process was great, they were able to replace all of our windows in about a week The crew was very courteous and communicative throughout the process. Riley and Chris did a great job on my apartment. Definitely highly recommended. They replaced the slide door of the balcony, large window of the living room, three mid sized ones in dining room and two bedrooms. Two smaller one in kitchen and bathroom. They worked with good attitude and very clear on answering my question.

My wife and I had been looking at doing a window project in our home for YEARS. The house had single pane, aluminum frame windows throughout the house. Our son decided to push the windows project up in the list of projects to do in the house. After getting our quotes and reviewing products we decided to go with Lake Washington Windows and Doors. Working with Dave was easy, and he was always responsive when developing the quote and addressing my concerns. The Lake Washington Team kept me in the loop throughout the process, and scheduling the installation. Any buyers remorse was IMMEDIATELY expelled once the crew came out and started to work. The install team was extremely PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT and EXPERIENCED. They are very good at installing the windows RIGHT. They removed the old windows and installed the new windows in (3) days. A total of (12) windows were replaced, and the new windows are phenomenal. New and Old photos of key windows are attached.

Ricky, Jesus, and Juan did a fantastic job retrofitting new windows into our 110 year old house. They took care and time to make sure everything was done right, sealed, up, and all clean when they were done. It is so great to replace our leaky old old single pane windows!

They installed a new Midgard sliding door for us. Can’t believe we waited this long to replace it. The quality of the install was outstanding. A minor issue we noticed after the install, was promptly taken care of the next day. My wife and I highly recommend this company. Excellent customer service.

I was most impressed with Luis and his crew/family. Everything seems to work well. I appreciate some of the improvements in design since I used Milgard 15 years ago (this is the third time I’ve put them in a house). A couple of the screens have small defects but not enough to replace them as I know they are hard to get.The bid from LWWD was $4000.00 higher than the other company I contacted, but I think it was worth it. I suspect the other people would have found ways to up the price as they looked more closely at the job.Thanks again,Beverly

We replaced a door and a window with Lake Washington Windows and Doors. The price was reasonable (in the middle of several bids), and we are satisfied with the quality of their products. What was most impressive was the service and follow-up. They allow for 5% of the purchase price to be withheld for any issues, identified and explained the reason for the problem, and visited our home twice after the original installation to ensure everything was working properly. If we need other doors or windows replaced, our first call will be to Lake Washington Windows and Doors.

The guys who installed our new French doors just left. 5/5 starts for sure. My only gripe about this whole process is that we had to wait so long for the install after ordering but I wont count that against a company who is clearly doing outstanding work and is very, very busy. The installers were friendly, efficient, and very clean. The install was much quicker than expected and my jaw literally dropped when I saw the final product. Absolutely beautiful and high level skill with the installation. Will absolutely use this company again when we can afford to replace 7 windows that need updating.

A number of windows were replaced on my home: there were two very large windows and two smaller windows. The crew arrived when they said they would arrive, it took seven hours and they did an excellent job . They were professional, answered my questions, and did not make any kind of mess. When I left everything was cleaned up and the end result was beautiful. Highly recommend them.

We had them install a new front door for us. I found them very easy to work with and responsive to our needs. The front door they installed for us was a new door for them, and when it became clear that additional help was needed they sent out the supervisor personally to install the door themselves. The installation did take longer than anticipated by a day, but they prioritized the installation to complete the next day. Overall I was very happy with the process. I would recommend them, and use them again.

I had 3 sliders installed and the installers Josue and Tim were fabulous! They were very hard working, did exceptional work, were polite and very conscientious. We were scheduled, given an estimated install date ( which ended up being sooner than expected,) and a time for job completion, which was right on schedule. We had Jesus and Doug on the first day and then an additional carpenter on the second (I was so busy talking to himand watching/listening to the process I forgot to ask his name).The install was a challenge, the house is 75 years old and it is not square anymore-no old house is. I listened in as Jesus and Doug talkedabout the front door install. Obvious to me, was the care and concern over every detail-their need to make every part square and fit tothe very high standards they all had. I have a metal bannister for the stairs to the second story. The entryway is small. For years I hadto keep an eye because the old door would hit the railing and produce a dent. I forgot to mention this issue. But after the first day of workI noticed the guys had put a towel over the railing-because they had realized the problem. When the garden window went in Jesus sawthe new window came with scrolly (a word/) fluffy? support brackets-not a good look for our wooden Cape Cod style house. Jesusbuilt a whole new wood bracket from scratch-he seemed to sense just what would work. The third installer was on the same page (Iwish I had his name) I wish I could have these guys for every job I need help with. Dave even came up with the exact match for the backdoor molding. We had water damage under 2 windows that they repaired while reframing those windows that doubled in size. It required an electrician, hvac and mud / tap company that they helped find and coordinate appointment etc. Monty, Gerry, Salomon, Curtis, Eric, Merrilee and James all made it happen. The install crew was fabulous. Courteous, thoughtful, respectful and very professional. They went above and beyond what was expected. We’ll be replacing the front of the house with new windows in the next couple of years and will definitely be using lake Washington windows and doors.

The estimator called 30 minutes before he was supposed to show up and said that hed call to reschedule, which he never did. I followed up a few days later to tell them this and to try to set up another time. They said that they would have someone call me back and again, no one did.[Edited] While I had a bit of a rocky start with this company, they did make every effort to make up for it. They have subsequently come out and provided a fair quote.

This is the second time Ive worked with Lake Washington Windows and Doors. I like the fact that they specialize so they really know what they are doing. I had an Andersen custom casement window installed (matching the previous replacement window project) and its perfect. These are pretty expensive windows - but they are high quality and will last. The company is very professional and installation was smooth. I will hire them again if I need windows.

We had a leaky sky window that needed repair or replacement. We had used Lake Washington Windows before and knew they did a good job. We had someone come out to look at it and he said he’d give us an estimate. Well we never got that estimate. I called him and never heard back. So I left a negative review. The owner got back to me right away and said he’d make it right. We had hired another company but it was going to take them 12 weeks and we needed the repair ASAP. Lake Washington Windows and Doors will fix our window in a shorter time frame and at the same price the other glass company bid. I know the job will be done well because of our past experience. I really appreciate the fact that they got back to me right away. In hindsight I should have called the company directly instead of the person who did the estimate. I know they are probably swamped with calls and are backed up due to the shutdown issues. Lake Washington Windows and Doors are always our first choice when we have window issues and with a 19 year old home we’ve had a few. Update: We had been told it would be 6 weeks before our window could be fixed. It turned out to be 3 weeks which was a big deal to us because we had sold our house and wanted it fixed before we moved out. They did a terrific job.

Lake Washington Windows and doors did a wonderful job replacing a door on the lower level of my house where I was experiencing water leakage issues. They took extra time to make sure the seal was water tight.

I bought new windows and sliders in June 2011. This year I noticed a board that was installed with the windows was rotting. LWWD came out looked at it, then came back and fixed it. I think the way a company handles an issues says the most about a company. LWWD stands behind their work and products. From first contact with Dave for an unpressured bid, LWW were extremely professional, caring & wanting to meet our vision with our 114 yo house, which is what sold me. I did request an estimate from other local window company & during phone call she pulled up our property info on google and asked if my husband who is also on home title if he would be there to approve installment & purchase!!! (what) so anyway went with LWW> Scheduling/follow up for project was very well communicated from Mckenzie throughout the 2 projects, which there was 2 separate orders of purchasing & installations. German the lead installer I requested from reading other LWW customer reviews did not disappoint, the crew also included Jesus, Somsi, Curtis, and Steve. They are all skilled craftsman not just (window/door installers) there is a difference & are employed in-house, not 3rd party contractors. Big Big deal for me. Each employee seeming was committed to the jobs. When there was issues on install of french doors/windows, German explained in detail & his supervisor Mike & Steve were @ my house within 20 min & professionally solved the issues, again dealing with house/structure that is 114 yo not easy. The installation of 6 double hung windows, 2 bathroom windows, 1 picture window in kitchen, 1 huge semi sound proof picture window & beautiful French Doors which are main focal point in house. This was a 20 year project that finally happened & I do HIGHLY recommend LWW!! The projects were done in 8/2020 & 1/2021 were on time, with impeccable prep & clean up. Cost I had no problem getting the quality Milgard brand and installations with no issues. Thank you Lake Washington Windows team.

The office staff is terrific at keeping you up-to-date with where you are in line. And as the installation time gets closer, they get more specific with the probable dates and the length of time the job will take to complete.On the day of installation of my new doors, the team was professional and speedy, and cleaned up every speck before they left. Late in the day we discovered that the wrong glass had been ordered for the front door. This was also handled professionally and quickly by my salesman, with everything corrected within a week. I could not be happier with my new doors and look forward to hiring this company later this year for windows.

Mike and Larry did a great job installing my windows and sliding door. They were on-time, courteous, and professional. They were very careful not to make a mess in the house and cleaned up outside the house. The Milgard windows/door are of excellent quality and keep the sun from overheating the house in summer. Theyre also much more soundproof than my old aluminum windows.

We had an amazing experience having our windows replaced for the first time in our home. Our sales agent David was great, super helpful and worked with us to customize our project needs. Amy, our project manager kept us updated on timelines. Our site supervisor, Jerry (sp?) and his crew were amazing! They were very respectful of our home space, put down protective sheeting everywhere, and meticulously cleaned up after they finished. They were finishing up the project and our exterior trim didnt match what we were expecting, Jerry obliged what we were expecting, got his tools back out and quickly customized our trim to match exactly what we wanted!! They were a really amazing crew and we couldnt be happier with the quality and the service we received.

We were in the market for new windows and front doors and happened to have a contact number for Dave, one of their sales reps. From start to finish, Lake Washington has been a pleasure to work with. We are very pleased with the final product. During the final walk-through, I found a piece of outside trim that looked pretty rough, after pointing it out to the installers, the piece was immediately replaced for a different, more suitable piece. Jim was an outstanding help - very knowledgeable (able to speak at a technical level the majority of windows shops arent) and honest. Very professional from start to finish! They came out to measure the windows, where other companies I requested bids from only took the dimensions by phone. Pricing was comprable to other bids I received for 3 Milgard brand windows. They laid out next steps and stayed in communication with me along the way. The team showed up on time, were very courteous, wore covid protective gear, and cleaned up the workspace perfectly! The windows are beautiful and Im very happy with the job they did!

I had another quote from a competing window company and Lake Washington Windows had a better price. The competing window company had the same warranty.Customer service was great.The window installer were very friendly and cleaned up all their mess at the end of each work day.A few things that concerned me about my job-A few dirty hand prints on my freshly painted walls above the windows…. (Some warm soaps water took care of that).Scratches in freshly painted interior window trims.One of the windows from the factory had a glob of seal infused between the two frames of glass (I was surprised this passed a visual inspection from the factory). This problem was addressed and someone from Lake Washington windows came out and replaced the window sash within a few weeks.The exterior trim boards were painted / premiered in grey… and not white. I planned to paint them white anyways so not a big deal for me.All in all Lake Washington Windows and Doors did a good job and would highly recommend them.

We replaced 12 (original) windows and a patio door with Lake Washington Windows and Doors. The salesman was knowledgeable and not pushy, price was in line with our expectations and the install crew was great. They were respectful of our home and our time.
