This is horrible. 20 people in the waiting room. I dont see point of making appointment on line and have to wait in this pack waiting room for 55 min. .
Avoid this lapcorp location at all costs...the staff are inept and useless when it comes to securing the workplace from possible theft. I had a lady steal my insurance card from the kiosk, and when I asked reception to ask her to pull out her pants pockets, they simply told me they couldnt (even after I caught the lady red-handed with my insurance card in hand). I get that theft comes down to the individuals responsibility, but what i couldnt believe is that even AFTER I caught the person red-handed IN FRONT of the receptionist, there was NO attempt to report the theft to management...the receptionist just turned a blind eye as if nothing serious had just happened. It was completely unprofessional and I instantly decided Id be better off taking my business elsewhere. For anyone needing bloodwork, Id avoid this location like the plague. Shady, underhanded patients and weak, pathetic staff with no interest in making the place safe for morally-guided customers like myself.
The young lady, short, with dark brown hair and ponytail is rude. She really needs a job where she doesnt have to come in contact with other people.
NO temperature checks, NO social distancing, NO limits on the number of people waiting in the tiny room. And you check in using a touchscreen. This is a great place to transmit airborne viruses! I am contacting Public Health Seattle-King County to find out how in the world this can be allowed. Do your lab work somewhere else if you can.
Hands down the worst medical experience I have had in years. I had an at home test I needed to take. I called twice, no answer. I went in that day, they sent me home with the supplies but the order had not arrived yet. Fine. The next day I called and called to see if the order had arrived. Left two voicemails. Nothing. The third day, I went in and it took them a half hour to locate the fax that was filed properly by name, once they found it. I took a picture for proof. I then took my at home test. When I came to return it, the receptionist was super flustered and told me to sign in. I did.. she forgot to call me. So then 20 minutes later (as my sample is basically expiring) I asked if she could accept it. She finally realizes that it needed to be rushed. So she takes it, and I asked TWICE if she needed any additional information from me. She said no youre good to go. A week later I emailed my provider to follow up with the lab as I figured theyd lost my sample since I hadnt received results. Sure enough they said they never ran the test and swear they didnt receive the order (thankfully I have the picture, and am sending it to the provider). Complete chaos of an office. Mind boggling. Peoples lives are literally relying on these tests.
I was concerned about having labs done at Labcorp in Renton based on the reviews I read, but was surprised to have a fairly positive experience overall. Parking was plentiful and finding the lab was easy. Once I arrived, there were 2 kiosks for self check in. Each kiosk had a basket with sanitizing wipes so you could sanitize the touch screens before and after using which I really appreciated. After checking in on the kiosk, the staff member at the front desk called me up to verify my insurance. There was a large plexiglass barrier between the front desk staff and patients which was great for safety. Once my insurance was verified, I was brought to a blood draw chair to wait. I only waited about 5 minutes before the phlebotomist drew my blood. She was very friendly and drew my blood painlessly and quickly. My only concern and reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was due to my experience in the restroom where I had to collect a urine sample. They asked that I collect the sample and place it on the tray on top of the toilet. This was concerning because normally urine samples are placed in a metal window and taken right away by staff. When I went into the restroom there were several urine samples from other patients sitting on top of the toilet. I felt nervous leaving my sample there where I felt they could easily be tampered with or could very easily be knocked into the open toilet. It would be great if samples were collected after every person and brought somewhere more secure. Otherwise, my experience was overall positive and I would feel confident having labs done there again. Results were also very fast as my doctor called me the next day with results.
Really unprofessional, they all dont know how to draw blood. This is what they have caused, and its after 1 day, and they still were not able to draw blood.
I went in on a sat and the receptionist was extremely rude.
That need to have more then 3 people walking in the entire clinic, the workers are nice but it takes forever. This is in a large hospital, it needs to have more people.
Its really a mess. They lost my order of blood test, asked for another and then found it. Staffs arent professional and friendly.
This LabCorp is 0/2 for completing my requisite labwork as STAT. Two different lab techs, two different serious delays in labwork being released. Consider using an alternate Labcorp if able.
