Great management. The quality of jiu Jitsu is superb. The owner is always looking for ways to add value to our memberships, ie adding judo classes and wrestling for free. The jiu jitsu professor is a living encyclopedia. Great family atmosphere.

I have been going to the academy for 3 months now, and the experience has been great! I have been learning Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) there which is taught by experienced teachers. We are given instruction in the traditional Thai Boxing form and at the same time it is a fantastic workout for the body. Since it is part of the Elite Thai Boxing Association, the school follows a regulated curriculum which ensures that we learn the proper techniques and do that in a safe environment. Also, being a student here means I can go to any Elite Thai Boxing Academy for practice / lessons as per my convenience.

This place is amazing the bjj and muay thai instructors have really good skill levels for the price I recommend this place for everyone that wants to learn martial arts. This place is the epic legitness.

I started training BJJ here at age 49, after watching my daughter train forabout three months. Now, about 16 months later, at age 51, Im still going strong and enjoying training (so is my 10 year old daughter!).Professor Ruff is an excellent instructor to train under and is awesome with the kids. Thats one of the things that first impressed me about him. And hes probably forgotten more jiu-jitsu than I will ever learn.Coach Phi and Coach Michael also bring the same level of commitment to the gym and are very invested in everyones success.Everyone at Ruffhouse Jiu-Jitsu is friendly and unassuming. All egos are checked at the door here and it is a very welcoming place to begin your jiu-jitsu journey and the training is topnotch.

My daughter joined Ruffhouse a little over a year ago as an 8 year old. She was trying new sports and looking for something she could call her own. After one class she knew that she LOVED jiu jitsu and wanted to go as much as possible. Since joining Ruffhouse her confidence, leadership, physical and mental strength have all grown through the roof and I can without a doubt say that joining Ruffhouse was the best decision we have ever made for my daughter.

I just joined the Muay Thai class and even for the short time I’ve been there I have been treated with nothing short of respect. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable in not only the techniques of Muay Thai but also the history and culture of this beautiful sport! I completely recommend anyone that is interested in martial arts to check these guys out.

What a great crew of teachers and students. It was really fun, challenging, and positive to reconnect with martial arts and to push myself and learn from everyone. Ive trained BJJ in three states at several schools and this is one of the best schools Ive been to, the classes have people who are active competitors but also people who just started a few weeks ago and are really tailored for anyone. Whatever your goals are, this is just a great place to learn and meet some cool people.

Being a girl and a beginner in bjj can be intimidating, but when I started at Elite I immediately felt comfortable. The instructor and the owner are both wonderful and welcoming, the students are helpful and encouraging, and jiu jitsu is an amazing way to get in better shape. Whether youre a beginner looking to learn, or more advanced looking for somewhere new to train I highly recommend Elite.

This is a family friendly and great place to come! Im training under Justin Zabroski in corvallis oregon competing in every tournament I can untill and long after my mma debut and this is the school I would give a arm and leg to be able to train and improve my bjj . I feel Truelly honored to have been able to come in for a session and look forward to setting up a card for when Im in the Renton area. I have a championship tournament coming up in June and I Truelly feel my jits game just Truelly improved and it was a amazing experience to be with the instructor and his students.
