The management is absolutely terrible! They told me 2 different prices collected holding fees thats non refundable, told me I was approved then denied me the place. Had to keep calling and calling then I just went up there where I talked to management. Approved me then given yet another higher price. Scheduled me an appointment to talk to the higher supervisor only to get there and they tell me that he/she was STILL on vacation.. Why schedule the appointment? They are absolutely unprofessional and dont care about anything but the money. I refuse to make a place as such my home.
Had an issue with management but the fixed the issue as soon as possible. Everyone in the premises is nice, and they apartments are homey and decent for the money. The fact the management made a rebound like that I have to commend them for it because the apartment complex handled every situation quick!
I have called several times and inquired info about a 3 bedroom. Office is very unprofessional and always says they don’t have the answer the any BASIC questions, they don’t even care to find out. Horrible customer service.
I absolutely loved living at Regency Woods! It was my first home in Washington and I unfortunately had to relocate temporarily or I would probably still be there. The pool is very relaxing, the team was amazingly helpful, the gym has wonderful views of the sunsets over the mountains, and there is a great path nearby for my dog walks. I would 100% recommend coming home to Regency Woods.
It was a great apartment complex when i went and visited my brother.
Lovely experience with property management and the area so far (Amy is awesome!!). It’s very quiet, cared for, and away from main areas where trespassers might lurk. Feels like a safe neat community so far. I wish people would have more of a desire to meet each other, but otherwise, my apartment is beautiful, it’s close to everything (by car) and I have a nice view. There are some walkable areas as well. Highly recommend!
I moved in at the beginning of summer, so far so good! The neighborhood is quiet, maintenance is handled very quickly, and it is very close to shopping! Minutes away from the Landing makes it easy to call this place home. The office staff is very friendly and helpful even in this weird time of Corona. I love calling Regency Woods my home!
They are good except that they have no playground for children. They and clean and have enough parking.
Very up scale place to live nice family setting some of the happiest days were spent here
We had a really hard time finding a place and Amy was INCREDIBLE helping us find the right place for us. Not only did she help find a unit that was just the right fit for us, she also made us feel like part of the community. Really excellent service and cannot say thank you enough!
I move in temporarily (3months) while relocating from the mid west. Though the summers are mild here in the PNW if you have a bottom floor apartment there is not enough air flow to cool the apartments. Additionally those apartments have very poor cell reception for two reason; first they are mostly like living in a basement and second the high tension wires act like a signal jammer. Since I was a relocating from across the country, and covid was in full swing I rented sight unseen, mistake. Even though the apartments are none smoking every evening when the neighbors returned from work the intrusion of second hand smoke began. There were several plumbing issues that caused drains to back up with lord knows what in the middle of the night. there were power outages on occasion probably local issues not the complex. I would tell you when you fill out the inspection paperwork make a not about oder its there, and patio not up to standard they will make sure they get cleaning needed or not out of the deposit. I didnt used the patio even once and Im paying for cleaning. I could list additional but I think this makes the point. Rent as a last resort.
The property is absolutely gorgeous! So many trees and pretty landscaping all over. A great place for anyone that enjoys getting out for walks. Our apartment was great too with a large, open living room and large patio. The office and maintenance team is great. Everyone responded in a quick and kind manner and always had a smile on their face! Also super close to shopping and dining in any direction you go. Would certainly recommend!
Coming up on a year living here and absolutely love it!Duncan is extremely helpful and always responsive.Definitely going to be renewing our lease this summer!
I moved here about a month ago and I’ve never felt so safe in such a new environment for me. I just moved from out of state and the whole process was easy. The management is super on top of everything when it comes to service. The community is very quiet and the neighborhood has an amazing location I couldn’t ask for more. Don’t hesitate to live here because you will not regret it. Shoutout to management for making me feel like home.
Just moved in but love living here already! Spacious apartment and beautiful grounds. Leasing consultant Duncan was incredibly helpful! Also had a great experience with maintenance - efficient and super knowledgeable! (fixed a mistake I made while installing shelving)Would recommend the place!
Very happy 🎉 what moved from that apartment. They have just 2 pluses: view from window and quick maintains service. Your move out statement can be same what payment for rent. And also I had payment more than 200 for electricity until I not call service for checking sistem. Im not say about later fee, and different details. Its another topic. If you have extra money and dont know how to spend it. Just move there;) 1 manager Duncan was very good and helped a lot. Appreciate for that
Hi!I moved into Regency Woods recently and the experience has been a breeze! The Staff: The office staff(Jennifer, Ashly, Amy and Paul) have all been very attentive, responsive and professional! Amy, the agent that toured me, made the process sublime. I initially came in eyeing a different apartment, but her suggestion was right on target! I love the vaulted ceilings in my home! At move in, she had everything to go and was fantastic with my dog, Luna:) The Maintenance staff has also been quick and efficient! The office management has great communication with service requests and general updates! The Home: I simply love it! This apartment is amazing, especially being on the top floor! The inclined design, the 1st floor enters from behind the building, makes it feel like you’re entering into a second floor! This creates a balcony view with crazy verticality, that is both unique and surprising when first viewing! The vaulted ceilings and spacious living room make it feel enormous inside as well! I don’t know if my neighbors are quiet mice or it’s how the building is built, but I haven’t heard a peep! Great acoustics! The ample counter space and the mood lights fit perfect and the modern appliances make cooking a joy! The stainless steel makes this a steal!:PThe Location: Perfectly situated near the heart of Renton and right next to 405 making it a beeline for my job! Also, I’m near the Cedar River Dog Park, Pet Smart and Safeway! My three essentials all within 10 mins!I’m ecstatic to be in my Regency Woods Home for the foreseeable future!:)
I love Regency Woods. Its my first place since I just turned 18 and my roommate and I love it here. My tour was great and the woman was SO kind to me. She was super sweet and friendly! Whenever I emailed with questions, they were right on top of my emails. As soon as we were ready to move forward, they helped us through the whole process. AT move-in, the process was quick, smooth, and simple making it as stress-free as possible! Parking is kind of a pain if you have more than one car on file but other than that I love this place! My roommate and I are super pleased and I recommend it to people all the time!
My fiancé and I recently relocated to this Apartment complex and were very pleased with how smooth the process went. The staff are all super sweet, professional, responsive, and answered all our questions and concern which made this experience very easy and comfortable. Jennifer is super friendly and was very patient with us both for 2 separate tours and went beyond for us. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to friends and family!
Great location. Highways, shopping malls are really close. Great view.Front desk Staff is nice and welcoming. Maintenance is easy to schedule via online portal and they respond quickly. I really loved their community program, they did multiple events every month and it was great. Especially, pool party on summer is awesome. Hats off to Danica and S..(sorry forgot name), they rock!!!!I only gave 3 stars due to:1) parking availability2) Where I lived, it was not very peaceful. Our neighbors were too loud.3) dont expect to get your security deposit back. Once you plan to leave your apartment, do not spend time to clean it up since they will charge you on every small stuff they can. But make sure you take picture before you move in and write down everything, even dirt in light fixtures in your bathroom4) Kitchen light keeps going out, and get used to requesting multiple work order.
My family and I have lived here for 4 years, as of this month! We’ve grown our family here and it’s the only home we’ve known in Washington. It’s been so good to us. The location is beautiful, clean, & safe; it doesn’t feel like part of downtown Renton at all, but it’s still very close. There are a number of things that have made this place wonderful, particularly their decision to invest in a community care team that has put on several monthly events for us for the past couple years. They’ve given us an opportunity to create closer relationships with our neighbors (which is so helpful not only for apartment living, but living in this climate), have a meal with friends, and have some pretty special holidays. In terms of maintenance, our groundskeeper, Andrei, is the best there’s been since we’ve lived here. Anything and everything that’s come up, he’s taken care of in a timely manner, and with a humble and kind attitude of service. And of the office team, Ashly has always taken great care, as has Jennifer, and they have continued to make this place even better over time. We are happy to be here and are grateful to call Regency Woods home.
Lived here for 3 years and have zero complaints. The office ladies, maintenance guys and grounds keepers are all phenomenal. My kids especially loved attending in the many different activities the property puts together for its residents to enjoy and get to know each other. If it werent for my job Id still live here. Completely recommend anyone to live here.
I lived here for two years. Its a nice place to live. Its far enough removed from the city that it stays pretty quiet, but close enough that a few minute drive will get you to several stores and restaurants. The view from the hillside, especially at sunset, is awesome. The complex is quite large and the grounds were always well maintained. My apartment was near the wood line, so I occasionally found spiders or yellow jackets in my home. The management team was really good about getting someone check and spray my place for them. Over the two years I had no maintanence issues at all. The community team is super friendly and welcoming, and organize several events a month, as well as random goodies they leave at your door. The main reason I moved is because I found a place closer to work for a little cheaper. Ill definitely miss living there.
Very poor experience! Noisy neighbors and management did nothing to rectify the situation. I lived there for 22 months and 9 times during my living there the main sewer line backed up causing my bathtub to fill up with feces and raw sewage. I had to clean and sanitize it myself. Then after moving out leaving my apartment absolutely spotless they only refunded me 48.71 out of my 350.00 deposit. I actually left one week before my lease expired and they charged me for the last week that I wasn’t even there! This is the worst experience I have ever had with apartment living!
A quiet, wooded complex with many different apartment layouts to choose from. Our two bedroom apartment had an open layout with large living room and vaulted ceilings. Plus large balcony to entertain and carport. Our pup would enjoy walks along the stream in the back of complex. We miss living here and the wonderful staff that took care of us when we were there!
I have really enjoyed my experience at Regency Woods. The staff are always willing to help out with anything we need. I always feel welcome when I go into the leasing office.
The entire staff has been first class. Very friendly. In two years have only had two maintenance issues and they have been quickly taken care of to my satisfaction. Thank you very much to all of you who have made my living experience here very positive.
Absolutely loved living at Regency Woods, the community is huge! Not to mention I had one reserved parking space to come home to every night. Miss their community events hosted after hours with lots of food!Such a great place to live!
My boyfriend and I went here on a whim looking at apartments. Ashly showed us around and showed us a nice 2 bedroom apartment. She was great and answered all of our questions and we are confident that this apartment is perfect for us! Thanks Ashly!
Just moving in here staff seems nice! Ive been denied by other apartments and rental properties and never knew why but the staff at regency informed me that I had a collection to pay to an old apartment complex I lived in years ago! but they held my application accepted my info once it was paid and I will be moving in soon so Im excited finally out of Lakewood!
I would not recommend this place at all. I applied and not more than 10 minutes later I receive a call saying I was not approved. They seem to care about you but would not even give me a chance and wouldnt tell me why I was not approved. I would not reccomend living here if this is how they treat a potential resident. They are the worst place ever and Ive rented an apartment before and never had any problems.
This is a great place to live if you love convenience. The freeway is only a few minutes away and multiple shopping centers-with Fred Meyer just around the corner. You can see beautiful views when going on a walk and their mantenience is quick & efficient.
This place doesnt even deserve a 1 star. Ive happened to signed a lease here, but due to some important and emergency reason, that I just couldnt proceed with this move, that I had to come home to my hometown to take care of a family member who was very very sick. I decided to cancel that lease immediately couple of hours after signing, but I was told by this unfriendly staff that I could no longer do so. No f#@king consideration whatsoever. I hope those staffs here will face and experience the same situation ive been to. They care more about their business and never the residents.
I don’t do reviews much but I felt like Ashly really went above and beyond on our tour... I went on tour on a random rainy summer day (typical) and Ashly, who took me on tour did not mind! I felt so bad but she reassured me no big deal! Even offered me an umbrella!! So sweet! She took me to an apartment that she thought would fit the needs of my little family and made sure to stay within the price range I had given her. While my family decided to go a different way (rented a house instead), if we were to decide on apartment this one would of been the winner!
Fantastic apartment complex. Clean, quiet and well maintained. The office staff are very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in Renton.
We leaving in these apartments and always things happens and when we call them they at ways make excuses not to come and fix things on time. And they are so rude to older people And if water spills and you call them to have it fixed they tell you they are doing you a favor. They are the rudest people ever. I will never recommend these to anyone.
Fantastic . Customer Service . They have been awesome helping me move in . Thanks again
I had a place here for a year. Not much to complain about other than a few things but it’s how things ended that made me write this review. To start (which I wasn’t even going to mentioned if they didn’t do me dirty) literally my first night at my apartment there was flooding in the kitchen, which also turned into water damage on lower cabinets. They had someone come fix that, took about two day. How did the compensate me? A $10 gift card to Starbucks. No pay taken off the rent or anything like that. Bad first impression. The guy who “fixed” the issue ripped part of the carpet out and never put it back correctly. The reason I’m writing this review. I put down a $1300 security deposit on conditional terms. Following my departure they gave me a list of things they will take out of the security deposit. This included touch up paint, carpet shampooing, deep cleaning etc. I took the list and followed each charge to make sure I got most of my money back. I spent countless hours and days off of work just doing small touch up painting and rented a shampoo carpet cleaner and deep cleaning. The apartment was in PERFECT condition when I left and even better than when I got there. Out of the $1300 I paid for security deposit they gave me back $700. What did they charge me for? EVERYTHING I already did. I gave the leasing office director, Jennifer Hanson receipts of the shampooer I bought and she said it doesn’t count because I need a “special kind” that they never stated on paper. They charged me for touch up paint and deep cleaning after everything was prestine and perfect.Moral of the story is that Regency Woods is a dishonest apartment company that has incompetent and shady people working in their leasing office. DO NOT CLEAN YOUR APARTMENT UPON LEAVING. They will charge you no matter what, then give you the run around.
Dont expect your deposit back at move out time - they told me that I could hang things on my wall up to the size of a number 2 pencil. Then they told me that they needed to do a full paint on the place, and were going to charge me for 4 hours of cleaning (even though my mom and I spent hours cleaning the place). These people do not respect the term normal wear and tear. Other than that, there are some things that are great about the apartments - nice stainless steel appliances, no screaming kids, and a lot of wooded area. Parking on the weekends can be a bit of a hassle - not enough space to accommodate residents and their visitors vehicles.
The area is nice, but you pay a high price for it. The amenities are small and few. The staff changes often and will give you different answers. The apartments have a bad setup. It is impossible to tell where the dining room ends and living room begins. The worst part it how dark they are. I felt like I lived in a cave. I had friends in other units that werent as bad. There is no storage space! The updates and appliances are nice.
The girls in the office are awesome! Always got along which each and every one of them... And Ashley Rocks!
The staff is so wonderful. I have seen them go out of their way to help residents (such as staying late to find the owner of a car before it gets towed, shoveling snow/de-icing when, working at odd hours to be available for new residents to move in, etc). I have never been more impressed with property management than I was with Regency Woods. I miss that place and all the staff since I had to move for work. The property is beautiful! I love all the grass and how well it is maintained. The location is perfect. It is right by the freeway and downtown, but being on the hill, it feels a bit rural and peaceful. Also, you can see the whole city and the amazing sunsets. I never had issues with my neighbors and the other residents soon became like family. There were the typical issues that other apartments have, such as parking and non-soundproof walls, but that is nothing compared to all of the benefits. Finally, I want to give a shoutout to the maintenance team. Every time I submitted a request (even to change lightbulbs I was too lazy to take care of), they responded right away. They were always respectful and professional and great at their jobs. I miss you Regency Woods!
Love the community! Close to shopping and freeways. Also, all the resident events they do is a huge plus!
Awesome location and amazing staff! Very professional and quick to respond.
I got SCREWED. I doubt you will see any of your deposit when your lease is up. Our deposit was $350 and instead of seeing any of that money, we actually OWED them an additional $44. The expenses they charged us for were ridiculous. The money they subtracted from us shouldve been included in their ordinary cleaning charges for when someone moves out anyway. Also, the prior reviews about thin walls are absolutely correct. I heard everything from the residents above me.
These apartments are absolutely disgusting, the people that live here do not clean up after themselves or their pets and the people in the office are rude, invaluable and ignore you.My upstairs neighbors never sleep and are constantly stomping and making as much noise as they possibly can. Ignoring the fact they have neighbors. Get used to that. The management team is an absolute joke. They are completely rude, unprofessional and lazy to say the very least. Ive gotten better help at walmart. There are several continually ignored issues including but not limited to: the garbage over flowing at all the cans around the property, multiple cars sitting in the lots for months at a time with no tow-truck in sight, the dim-lit parking lot with NO security team-what so ever, a high rate of break-ins, extremely thin walls, rude and ignorant staff in the office who are incapable of doing their jobs, over priced units, dogs not being on the leash, animal poop is everywhere as none of the tenants or the management pick it up-so you must be careful where you step, gun shots are regularly heard in this area - as well as ambulances and cars racing each other at night.I could go on and on but I will not. These are some of the worst apartments I have ever lived in and I have lived in some bad places.Do what you want-but be warned that these apartments are run by slum lords. They do not care about you or anyone else. Once they have your signature and money-your worthless to them. They got you.I would strongly suggest if you have small children (as I do) that you find a more family friendly environment, more attentive staff and a place where people pick up after their pets.Sorry Regency-But yall made my home a nightmare.
My husband and I have called Regency Woods our home now since we moved to Washington State nearly 2 years ago. We truly enjoy living here and thought it was about time we leave a review.Location: One of the things we love about this garden style community is that it’s perched on top of a hill that overlooks parts of the city which, makes strolling around a unique and enjoyable experience! Just down the hill you will find you are just minutes away from restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and Downtown Renton which, has some great night life. Also, the drive to the Southcenter Mall and the nearest Costco is fairly short and convenient.Apartments: The apartment homes themselves are quite spacious and modestly upgraded with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. We live in the (Model C) One Bedroom floor plan and LOVE IT! Not only are the ceilings really high, but it has windows all along the side of the living room allowing for an ample amount of natural light to come through. Also, we love that the balcony is so big, allows for us to entertain our guests comfortably Amenities: The amenities here are great! The indoor spa and fitness room are 24/7 which, conveniently accommodates working out or relaxing according to my own schedule. There is also a seasonal outdoor pool that has BBQ’s ready for use. They have so many great events that happen every month, there is always something happening! Because the community is pet friendly, there are plenty of grassy areas for you to take your dog out and play with complimentary pet stations to dispose of after your pet. Lastly, one unique amenity my husband and I love is that there is a short trail located within the community. This trail is a bit hidden but lovely to walk as there is a small river that runs through it.Staff: From office to maintenance, the staff here is truly amazing and always goes above and beyond for their residents! Andre, one of the maintenance team members, works very hard to make sure all work orders are taken care of within a timely manner. His quality of work is superior and his positive work ethic is always directed towards making the residents happy. Ashley, Duncan, Jen (community director) and Jen (leasing consultant) are always so responsive and work diligently to always making sure your emails and calls are returned promptly! The team here genuinely cares about your satisfaction and takes the time to get to know you as a person, so uncommon these days!Parking: The parking here is ideal compared to most other apartment communities. You are given one assigned parking space and anything else is first come first serve with your choice of either street parking or an unnumbered parking spot. We have not had an issue with parking.Noise- Throughout our experience here at Regency Woods, we have not much (if any) issues with noise. There are some noises we hear but its normal apartment home living noises and it’s truly very far and few in-between.Regency Woods is a great place to call home!
Ive lived at Regency Woods Apartment Homes (RW) for almost two years now, and Ive loved it. I formerly lived at The Landing and its a night-and-day difference.I chose this apartment originally because it was far nicer on the inside than many of the others I was seeing - no crappy patch jobs on the walls, no staining, nothing that I would wrinkle my nose at or think to myself Its great except for....When we initially moved in we noted a urine smell in one of the bedrooms during our move-in inspection, and they had the carpet pulled up, the floor sealed, and new carpet put down in 24 hours, and there hasnt been a hint of a smell since then. The staff at RW has had some high turnover in the last year, but that hasnt impacted the service. Theyve always been responsive and helpful with any issues - which have been few and far between. One of the things I love most is the quiet - Its very peaceful. Our apartment has great airflow, with windows (and a double sliding glass door) on three out of four walls. The double slider takes up the entire wall in the living room, and we get lots of light - but no direct sun in the apartment, so it stays cooler in the summer. Now if my downstairs neighbor would just stop slamming her door... :-)
Ive been living in Regency for 5+ years now. Its expensive, but for what you pay, its fairly decent compared to Bellevue or Seattle. I recently transferred from a 2 bedroom apt to a one bedroom. The process was fairly smooth once I was able to qualify to hold the lease myself. Its at the very top of my budget for rent, but it was either transfer because I didnt qualify to hold the lease for the 2 bedroom myself or be forced to break the lease where I would have had to pay 2x the rent. These apartments are super affordable for anyone with an Amazon, Microsoft, or Google salary, but its a stretch for a single cook.I love the new space, though the cleaning that got done before I moved in was just ok. The carpets had pet hair and 2.5 containers full when I vacuumed for the first time. Im keeping an eye out for mold since Im on the first floor now, but so far no sign.I had a great experience with Ashly in the office, and any time I have any issues or questions, she is very efficient. Maintenance requests get taken care of in a timely manner, though not always the most professional job. More of a quick fix type of mentality. The community is like any other where some people suck and dont pick up after their dogs, even though there are several places around the complex where they provide poop bags.I also had a small conflict with a downstairs neighbor which the office was able to handle diplomatically as well. All in all, I love living here and the view from the top of the hill. The landscape around the complex is gorgeous and perfect for walking my dog around. Everything is close by that you will ever need, including a great little strip mall with a 24 hour store with the basics, the best teriyaki spot called Bucks, and The Taproom, which is a dog-friendly bar that has an awesome selection, great bartenders and owner, and is always a great place to go.
I moved here nearly two years ago. I have the garage/storage bldg. I do like the area at Regency Woods where I live, however, I am happy I dont live at the other buildings. Management are very professional. The maintenance techs are wonderful, also. The rent is high, but, you have to consider, when it comes to apartments, you get what you pay for. My six-plex is quiet, thank goodness. I feel comfortable here. I do, however, hope they do not raise my rent next year too high, because I wont be able to afford it. Overall, I enjoy this apartment.
Great maintenance crew, but not the most organized staff. My apartment was decent, but very over priced. I was at this property for 2 years, and the last year the quality of neighbors started to change. Police constantly at the property, drunken car wrecks, domestic violence calls, theft, all sorts of uncomfortable activity. They do have security at nights, however, they never answered my calls until the next day. When I moved out, I provided receipts for cleaning. Tey charged me for cleaning again and carpet replacement. The carpets were in good condition when I left, and there are no photos that show the cartpets neeed replaced. I think that was a total scam. I had a much better experience with their former office crew. If you are in a scape, they can be accomodating, but I would definitley recommend checking out surrounding communities first.
I moved in here April 2013, me and my husband are newly weds and seriously a wrong turn to look for some other apartments brought us here! =]I could not be any happier to have moved here, apartments are well kept inside and outside, no neighbors around me just on top and its noise proof walls lol I am so sad that our rent just went up but seriously its well worth it. Everything in our apartment works well so we have had no reason to go to the management for anything but when we have gone they are always attentive and very nice. I am 24 years old and I am telling you the price is worth for what you are getting! And the neighbors, well I have never met them, or seen them, There are a lot of young professionals leaving here, and all respectful (at least the ones ive seen!)
Overall, good quality living. The apartments are small, but my appliances were great and I had a parking spot assigned to my unit! I was so grateful for that as other properties are starting to not do that anymore.Yes, the cost of living is atrocious, but this property at least tries to give you its money worth compared to everyone else. My only real complaint was the my neighbor smoked cigarettes close to our living room window, but that has nothing to do with Regency Woods.Based in our experience, I would recommend living here to anyone working in or near Renton. The units are a bit small with not a ton of storage, but the management was good. Some back roads you can take (169 through Fairwood, much nicer drive) if you wanted to avoid 405. For Renton, there is not a lot of crime around these units and the price is comparable to other places around here.
I would probably give 3.5 if that was an option. The 1-1.5 star reduction is not necessarily because of anything that the management has control over. What other people say about the noise issues with neighbors is true, there is definitely thin walls in these apartments. What some people may not understand from a property managers perspective (I am in property management so I do) is that there is nothing they can actually do about it. The cost of REBUILDING a building to reduce the issues is beyond the worth of doing so. That is what would have to be done to change it on the physical aspects of the building being the main problem here. However, the management team here is more than happy to try and assist you with the issues experienced because of this part of living here-which they really dont have to be willing to when someone signs up to live in a multi-family housing unit. With the noise issues I experienced, they sent notices, made personal phone calls, and even offered to transfer me to another apartment FREE OF CHARGE which I know being behind the scenes is an expensive venture. You lose money on both apartments when transferring someone after they have moved in without the resident making any financial contribution to that process. The only other issue I had was with a maintenance issue regarding a leak on the foundation. The person I initially dealt with in the office was rude, did not respond appropriately, and did not offer the correct solution. At the time this was of course quite frustrating, however I explained to her from someone in the industry what I needed done to properly deal with the issue and it was taken care of in the proper time frame once pushed along to higher people. I believe she was relatively new and unexperienced, and it was relayed to me by the manager of the community that she would be receiving some additional training to ensure that in future similar situations others would not experience the same service I did. People who say there isnt parking are not incorrect, however every apartment comes with a reserved parking space which is more than a lot of communities offer for no additional charge and is more than kind of them to do. There is not a ton of additional parking but again, this is the life of multi-family living and honestly is something you sign up for when not buying your own home with as much parking as you want. The apartments are remodeled well, the service team is prompt and respectful, the office team is nice and responsive with all issues, and the property offers a great location with a nice setting and good amenities at a fair price. these are some of the better apartments in the area and I can attest to this as I looked at 13 other communities in the area before choosing this community and I am of the harshest judgers of apartments as I work at an apartment community. As far as move-outs go people are complaining about move-out charges that are standard at every apartment community and are of the actual cost of them getting the apartment ready for the next person. They do not over charge by an means, and it does take a long time and a lot of money to get an apartment ready for another person to move in. I can attest to the cost and I know they charge fairly even looking at other reviews on here, not just my experience. Overall I would recommend this community especially compared to what else is in the area. If you are noise sensitive, go with a top floor apartment and you wont have that issue.
I have been very disappointed with the management at this apartment complex. They seem to be particularly ignorant and uninformed. They go overboard pretending to be your buddy until they have your signature on the lease and then you dont exist. Trying to get them to do their job is almost impossible. Maintence issues are ignored until you make a real nuisance of yourself and then the repairs are rudimentary at best. They DO NOT have any security at all. The workout room is small and antiquated. They do not enforce leash laws or fecal clean up. The walls, floors and ceilings are paper thin, plan on hearing everything your neighbors do. I could hear my upstairs neighbor urinating in the toilet. The lawn guys blow leaves, dirt, rocks etc up on to the cars and then walk past the cars staring in the windows. The water is all connected so when the tenants above me flushed and i was in the shower i would get scalded. These are very expensive apartments and not at all worth the price.
All I have to say is if your looking here ...keep looking..ONE OF THEE WORST PLACES TO LIVE IN RENTON PERIOD!!! No parking, bug infestations year round, guaranteed towing of vehicles, and rude staff
Worst place ever, wont even cooperate with a pre inspection. They claim it takes 2 minutes, but it has to be on their schedule. I dont like people coming into my place of residency when I pay rent. I walked to their office and they are literally doing nothing. How can you not accommodate for that? The new staff are worthless, and they dont deserve to work here. They have been rude and unprofessional from the get go. They quoted us at a rate of 960 and then raised it by 300 bucks. Dont rent here, that is all.
Office staff is great and apartment is spacious
Maintenace and property managers are helpful and kind.
Wonderful place to live!
If the area wasn’t nice I would be giving them one star. But PARKING PARKING PARKING. I work night shift, and there is never parking when I get home. I have to park my car in the dirt, grass, bushes, then walk up several hills to get to my apartment.Unless you get home by 6pm every night, good luck finding a spot.
First positive remarks, Updated kitchens and pleasant exteriors. Office staff are very pleasant and helpful. Convenient location and great pizza delivery (Bensons)Negative things. Dont even think about renting a lower unit the floors are paper thin! So thin i can here my upstairs neighbor peeing, washing dishes, watching tv, playing guitar, here every single step that they take. and worst of all here them have sex. Floors creak worse than an old sailboat crossing the Atlantic. Maintenance personnel are super slow to respond and an actual fix is a 75% chance on there first visit. Floors are so cheap that even after repeated deep clean they still stick to your bare feet. units do not stay warm, hot water heater is small dont try to take a shower while doing dishes. I know reviews are not always taken to seriously...thats what i said save yourself the move do not rent an apartment here.
Regency Woods has a great staff and great homes. I stayed with them from 2010 to 2012 and have felt good about my time there.
Took a wonderful tour of this community!
The only thing I like about this place is its location. The apartment itself sucks! Maintenance guy sucks. He cant fix a washing machine. He tells me I dont know how to use it. It keeps running the same cycle over and over unless I turn the knob myself. You can hear your neighbors through the walls. I can here the the upstairs guy urinating and flushing the toilet and talking on his phone.
Moldy apartments. Staff are no help.
I would not be writing this if it were not true .... we were here for three years! And all good in the first apartment, until we moved to a bigger one .... for a year and the prices were too much !!! The horrible problem we had was moving from there ... we gave up taking a day off, to clean the apartment, to receive most of the deposit ... we left everything clean ... super clean ... and it turns out that we They are charging $ 190 which is Ridiculous, apart from what we already gave of $ 350 deposit. They do it so as not to return any deposit !!! The letter says that they lasted 6 hours cleaning ... cleaning what ??? But I cant verify it, I forgot to take photos! Of course, after cleaning the whole place, I didnt even remember to take photos ... the most rude manager! Horrible person. I do not recommend it at all .... Horrible 😡😠
