Where do I start. . .Epik Weddings was the very first vendor I contacted after getting engaged. Knowing this was who I wanted for my DJ, I was going to do anything to make it happen! Erik was amazing from the start. Not only was Epik our DJ, they were also our photographer and our officiant. One stop shop at its finest!Erik laid it all out for us and provided every detail you could imagine. He had our date 2020 available so we booked it and waited to hear from Aaron, the photographer, about our engagement photo session.I knew I wanted Fall colors, Aaron picked the perfect place, Galena Creek Fish Hatchery. Our engagement session was about an hour long and never once did Aaron make us feel like we were having pictures taken of us. Everything was very natural and nothing staged.In May of 2020 we postponed our September 2020 wedding to August 2021 due to COVID. Again, Epik was accommodating to our new date and made all of the necessary changes. On our original wedding date, I get a text from Erik asking if we were going to be home for a while. Erik and Francis showed up to our house with a bouquet of flowers, a framed picture from our engagement photo session and a card, they acknowledged our original wedding date!About a month before our wedding date, I started to get a little worried about the details. In all of Erik’s emails there is a link to schedule time with him to talk things through. I waited a little too long to look at his calendar, he was booked solid. I emailed him to ask if he had anytime available sooner and if so, I would make it whenever he was available. Like always, Erik made it happen sooner.Epik requests you complete questionnaires for each service they are providing. These questionnaires made the process go much smoother as I didn’t have to remember every little detail for each service, they already had a question for that!Erik and his team go above and beyond to help you plan and create the most memorable experience for your wedding. I highly recommend Epik for any occasion!

Id like to begin by saying, Epik Weddings & Events is the BEST! We were lucky enough to attend a wedding before our own where DJ Erik was performing. The entire ceremony and reception we were just in awe at his talents. Not only is he an incredible public speaker who knows how to direct and include a crowd, but he is dedicated to making the evening perfect and entertaining all night long. Months before the wedding day, he emailed a questionnaire, which was so helpful for us to begin thinking about our music vision for the day. My husband and I had extremely high goals for our wedding day with blurbs for each grand entrance couple and a music video with our entire guest count. Dj Erik was phenomenal with reading the blurbs and making sure the guests knew what was to come in the evening. A few days before the wedding, Erik continued to put in his above and beyond effort by calling us to confirm the music plans as well as rehearse name pronunciation. On the wedding evening, Erik was welcoming to all the guests and kept the partying going for us late into the night. Our wedding wouldnt have been the same without him. No DJ will ever compare to him. We will always and forever recommend Epik Weddings and Events to everyone!

We had a great experience with Erik and his team at Epik Weddings & Events! They were very professional, listened to what we wanted and ran our wedding with a good balance of direction and music we wanted. They helped us to stay on track with some of the tradiional wedding events we had planned throughout our reception. We spent a little extra for the leather bound photo booth album given to the bride and groom the day of the reception and it was well worth it! We highly recommend Epik for your event!

We hired Erik for our wedding at the Chalet View Lodge and we were so happy with how everything turned out. We had the most magical wedding and all of our guests were having so much fun to the song selection Erik created for us. He listened to our musical preferences and provided great entertainment for everyone. It is with extreme pleasure that I am writing this review, there is no need to look further for your video/photography service! They exceed all expectations. On the day of the wedding we had Aaron, Matt and John as our team of experts. They captured so many wonderful moments, that truly were magical. The actual day of the wedding turned out to be windy, but Aaron insisted they come back within the next week to capture drone footage of the beautiful location, so it could be included in the video. Again, magical is all I can say.Unfortunately, at the time we booked the original date (had to change due to COVID), the photo booth and DJ were already booked. We only wish we would have had an opportunity to use their services for this too.Again, Epik Weddings exceeded all expectations and were a wonderful, professional vendor to work with. My husband and I used Epik this weekend for our wedding and I could not recommend the Epik team enough!! From the very first interaction with Erik when we were booking vendors over a year ago to the end of our wedding night we never had a single bad interaction.We booked Epik for our DJ, photo booth and videography. Erik, the owner, DJ’d our wedding. He truly listened to all of our feedback, our likes, dislikes and gave us awesome suggestions throughout the planning process and the wedding day he just crushed it!! Multiple of our guests came up to us and said that he was the best DJ they’d ever seen at a wedding.The photo booth was absolutely epic (no pun intended) and was a huge hit with the guests. Our videographer (Aaron) was just an absolute dream to work with throughout the day as well - we can’t wait to see the magical video come to life!I’m honestly sad that we are finished working with Erik and his team because they were the best!! Would 10000% book again, no questions asked.

Erik and his team are the best! From the moment I first contacted Erik he was professional and quick to respond to all of my questions. He is an excellent DJ and emcee — he had the crowd dancing all night. We also had an afterparty and we had another Epik DJ, Dwight, who played until 1 am and took all of our song requests and kept the party going. The playlists were unreal and Epik Events totally understood the vibe we were going for from cocktail hour until the afterparty. We also had a photobooth that was a huge hit with our guests.Erik sent out questionnaires for both the DJ and the photobooth services so we could tell him exactly what we were looking for. He was always available to chat if we had questions and he was so great to work with. He books up quickly, so we felt lucky to have Erik and his team be a part of our wedding. So many of our friends and family commented on how awesome Erik and the Epik team were. I cannot recommend Epik Events enough!

Epik is the best- we used them for our dj services and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Erik was always professional and so fun to work with. We had to postpone our wedding at the last minute during Spring 2020 and he was more than understanding and made it so easy to book our new date. Our wedding was a blast and he kept the night going with his great music and emcee skills. He had really fun ideas that we incorporated into our wedding. We are so blessed and happy they were available for our wedding!The photo booth was a MAJOR hit, you get a roll of all the photos, which allows you to clearly see everyone having the best time from start to finish. Erik is such a great DJ, everyone stayed on the dance floor and he could blend many genres easily to keep the night going.NOW the videography!!! Beautiful job. The video is HD with very clear audio and edited very well. We hired the Epik team for our wedding at the Club at ArrowCreek, and the day truly could not have been more perfect! The entire planning process - which included a year+ delay because of COVID-19 - was so organized, which alleviated so much stress heading in to our big day. Erik and Aaron truly are experts in the industry, and the day would not have gone nearly as smoothly without their suggestions, feedback, and advice regarding timeline, music selections, photo opportunities, etc. June 4th truly was the best day of our lives, and so much of that is because of Epiks attention to detail, ability to keep a crowd engaged, and impeccable professionalism!

I was on the fence about doing videography due to the price but since several friends recommended the splurge saying it was their best money spent, I decided to also and am so glad I did. Im even more glad I found this team! They were very responsive in communication during the booking process, easy to talk to and got a sense of what we were looking for in a wedding video. The day of, Aaron was one of my favorite vendors there! He was so professional yet fun to have, he was great at not getting in the way or taking away from the experience yet somehow got these amazing shots that you would think required a camera right in our faces. The quality of the sound, video and style of editing rivals the best in the business. I should also mention, it was a crazy windy day and they took the extra time to edit out the wind sounds so you could hear our voices perfectly. Dont hesitate, book them!! Thank you Aaron and Erik!

Eric was truly the best DJ we have ever come across and also had the honor to work with. He worked with my fiancé now husband and I through the entire planning process in making sure all our playlists we created mixed well and made sense for each area of the wedding day. My wife and I booked EPIK to provide the DJ, photo booth, photographers and videographers for our wedding last October in West Shore Lake Tahoe. They delivered on everything, going above and beyond our expectations.The DJ (Erik) took the time to get to know us, so easy to work with and very accommodating, he scheduled calls with my wife to get a feel of what type of vibe we wanted. He provided great song recommendations for how to keep the energy high. During the wedding there was never a dull moment, he kept everyone entertained and got the guests attention when needed. Every shift during the wedding, whether it was cocktail hour, speeches, bouquet toss or sparkler send off, Erik was right there to ensure a smooth transition, absolutely amazing.The photo booth was a complete hit, everyone enjoyed all the features: photos, boomerangs and still motion shots, the guests couldnt get away from it. They moved the booth to different areas of the venue throughout the wedding so there was always a different setting, which was just another plus to add to the list of amazing detail they provide.Then there is the most important piece of the package, the photographers and videographers. I cant say this enough about how incredible this group (Ashleigh and Aaron) were, they all were so personable and a joy to be around. They were always on time and on point with everything. They truly captured every moment, not a single miss. Not only did our photos and videos come out great, but the level of detail and coordination that went into each shot showed in the final product. At one point in the wedding they were even able to get a group of 200+ drunk guests to sit still and take a photo and made it look amazing. The edited video was amazing, the ceremony, the focus on the table pieces and decorations, the dancing, the cool drone shots, everything just came out perfect. We really couldnt have asked for more.

I don’t even know where to begin. Erik is so professional and constantly goes above and beyond. We are so happy we had Aaron do our videography and so excited to have them be our DJ for next years big ceremony. Our elopement pictures and videos are incredible. Epik weddings was great to work with during the pandemic. We had to downsize our wedding significantly, from 150 guests to 15. They were able and willing to work things around for us to make it happen. I previously owned an event planning company and from the first time that we worked with Erik it was a game changer. We immediately realized how important it is to have a organized & professional DJ (with the proper equipment) for a successful wedding and event. I worked with Aaron and Erik for my wedding in South Lake Tahoe. The team was very communicative and worked with my partner and I leading up to our wedding day to make sure they captured exactly what we were looking for, and even gave us location suggestions when nearby wildfires shut down our original venue. They set up a live stream that was later uploaded and shared with family that wasnt able to attend due to COVID, and also created an absolutely stunning final edited video that we will cherish for years to come. EPIK has come through for me so many times. I met Erik when he was contracted to DJ a wedding being held at my place of work (ski resort) and I instantly knew I had nothing to worry about after meeting with him one time. He is thoughtful, dedicated, empathetic, and above all IMPECCABLY ORGANIZED. I loved working with him so much, I hired him for my own wedding too. We just had EPIK but more specifically Erik, come out for our wedding and everything was perfect. The whole planning process was great and Erik made sure to accommodate all of our requests.Day of Erik killed it. He came and checked on us during pictures to see if we needed food. That was clutch because I was getting hangry. Throughout the entire day he communicated clearly to our guests and really controlled the evening. We needed that as our wedding was different than your typical wedding.If theres anything you should take from my review its this. I could go on and on about how awesome EPIK was but it really hit home when I heard from our guests. After (and even during) the wedding I had countless guests tell me in person or text me to say how awesome the DJ was. They remarked about his energy, how sharp dressed he looked, the music he played, the list goes on. If you have any doubt in your mind about what DJ to book stop looking and book EPIK now.

I first hired Epik to DJ my company holiday party and looooved them. Eleven months later, my husband and I used them for both DJ and photography for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing!! Being able to bundle two vendors under one company is seriously the best thing to do for yourself when planning a massive event. Erik was absolutely outstanding for our wedding. We used Epik DJ and photobooth services and honestly they were both the highlights of our day. I don’t typically write reviews, yet I felt compelled to do so this time. From start to finish I had an exceptional experience with EPIK Weddings and Events. Upon making an inquiry on their website, I received an email back almost immediately, and was contacted by phone within 24 hours. The conversation was fun, friendly, and un-rushed. It covered many details of what I envisioned for the evening and ended with no pressure to book. A day or two later I confirmed booking. Following booking I never felt I had to call, confirm, and make sure things were in order. The regular contact they made via email and text messaging was reassuring. It was one less thing I had to follow up on, chase down, and make sure was in place the night of the event. In addition, payment was made easy and convenient through a couple different electronic options made available.In the interim between booking and the night of the event the DJ made himself available to meet in person. We met at the location with other venue staff and discussed final details. I really appreciated this as it gave me piece of mind that the DJ was familiar with the room, power locations, and had what he needed.On the night of the event the DJ arrived ahead of me, was set up, and ready to start our party as soon as guests started arriving. Of note, he was dressed in a suit and tie. Not that I had any expectations of what the DJ should wear, however, it was just another testament to the professionalism. He kept the evening progressing seamlessly. When it was time to have guests find their seats, make announcements, or transition from dinner to dancing, he did it all in superb fashion.Something worth mentioning here also is the photo booth option. I was on the fence about including it. I ended up doing so and it was the best decision! I highly recommend it. The guests had so much fun with it ALL NIGHT LONG. It was easy to use, and they could text the photos directly to their phones! Super cool. It created memories they will have forever. Overall the professionalism and customer service here is unrivaled. I truly look forward to another excuse to book with EPIK.

From our first phone call with Erik we knew he was the DJ/Emcee for us! He was incredibly professional and fun. Our personalities clicked immediately. The planning process was a breeze. He was easy to communicate with and offered a ton of advice. It is clear he has experience and passion! He was a great member of our vendor team to make our dream day a reality. Erik got along wonderfully with all our other vendors. I actually think they all enjoyed working together. At the wedding, he did not disappoint. He engaged the guests and read them completely. 2 months later, our guests are still commenting on how great he was and that he was one of the best DJ/Emcees they have ever seen at a wedding. And we are talking about guests in their 20-70s, traveling as far as Pennsylvania and Florida! We also used his photobooth and we are so glad we did. We are pretty sure every guest took their turn in the photo booth. Several went back multiple times. The picture book they put together for us will be a fun way to relive the fun our guests had for years to come. Eriks wife was fantastic at manning the photobooth. She was amazing! Hiring Erik was one of the best wedding decision we made......aside from marrying each other!

My husband & I got married in North Lake Tahoe on 7.28.18 and are INCREDIBLY happy we worked with EPIK as our DJ. Our venue highly recommended working them, & as soon as we held an initial phone convo with Erik to inquire about their services, we didnt even consider looking into other DJs. Erik is extremely friendly and professional, organized, quick to respond via e-mail & confident in his companies services. He also had TONS of suggestions for various types of songs to play throughout out wedding & has an efficient system in place with Spotify. He offered services we didnt even expect from our DJ, as well - reminder to all of our guests to please turn off their phones and electronics during our ceremony, the DJs walked around during our reception and reminded our guests to sign our guest book, fun interactive way for all guests to be dismissed for dinner and an opportunity for all of our guests to be included in one huge photo on the dance floor prior to our first fun song. We got incredible feedback from our guests about our playlist, too, and so many people at the end of the night commented how great our DJ was!!! Lastly - Erik was terrific to work with throughout the entire process, and the actual DJs who hosted our event were Dwight and Adrian - also great!!! EPIK absolutely helped make our wedding day/night the best for us, yet! Thank you!
