Took my laptop in to be checked, I thought I had a virus, got it checked, turns out I didnt. Was in n out of there within 20 minutes. Guys at the Geek Squad were great!!!!

Ended up being able to fix the issue with the bios from an overheating

So far so good. Will not know how good the total service is until the job is finished.

The status of your repair page is horrible. All it ever says is your device is checked in and will be assigned to a tech soon. And then a day or two later you get a text or call that its ready to be picked up.

They were great very helpful I wish I would have went there first and instead of somewhere else where I was ripped off $1,500 fixing a computer that couldnt even be fixed I have an appointment to take one of the computers back that can be fixed I cant wait to see that computer fixed so I can use it thank you for all your help

Very dishonest!!!!!I recently took my gaming pc there because the were fps drops. Once they hook it up to a monitor, it will not post. They tried to diagnose the problem then they said the graphics card stopped working. Once I picked the pc up and hooked it to my setup, the graphics card worked flawlessly. The agents were too lazy to fully diagnose the system. I will never again trust geek squad again!

Just learned that the Geek Squad repair is absolutely useless... sent in my $1800 computer that I bought the $300 warranty on for them to tell me there is nothing wrong yet it turns off randomly all the time.... not only that but I get it back today go to use it and oh guess what, they forgot to give me my power cable back... I then try to call and tell them this and after 30 minutes constantly calling with not one person answering the phone I give up because they are now closed.... DO NOT! Buy the extended warranty through geek squad cause they will screw you over if you end up needing it...

The only thing they do for you is run their software suite on your computer and accept whatever the recommended fixes are.

Called about a battery problem for my hp elitebook The battery was brand new and wasnt working properly. Geek squad didnt even look at the laptop or battery and told me that it was the wrong voltage type for my laptop. So after that I called hp. they were able to help fix the issue under 30mins. Found out my computers bios were just out of date. Disappointed that geek squad was too lazy to do a system check. Never going there again.
