Well service was great considering there was only one person attending to everyone. Vanessa was great.However, what they say they do may not be accurate. I informed them at check in that my coolant was low and they “green checked “ they checked everything. No way. My low water light is still on. See picAll I got was 100 dollar oil change

Purchasing a car there was a great experience however when it came to the maintenance aspect, i took my brand new Mazda in for the oil change and complimentary tire rotation, i mentioned to them that my breaks were squeaking and the my tire pressure continued to go down twice a week that if they can check that.I don’t think they did anything except change the oil. They wanted to get me out of there so fast they couldn’t tell me there was a nail in my tire that’s why my tire pressure continued to go on oh and that i needed new front breaks !Went somewhere else to get the nail out and front breaks done !

I really enjoyed the experience we had at Dolan Mazda. Ben was so responsive to what we were looking for in a car. He also knew my time was very limited in being able to look and test drive. Additionally, being out of town, he, Cody and Grace in financing made sure everything could be done over the phone or Zoom. And, they even had the car delivered to our home 2 and a half hours away. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another vehicle from them.

I towed my car in with frustration. And I didn’t know what’s wrong with my car. I only knew that my key couldn’t start the engine. I poorly described the problem to Steve with anxiety and rush. Fortunately, Steve is so professional and helpful. It turned out to be nothing wrong with my key, it was only because the battery was dead. I was so lucky to have Steve as a service advisor. I am very pleased with the work that was done.

I took my vehicle in for a recall and to have it thoroughly checked. They had it for a week while we were out of town. I am so very pleased with the work that was done. The mechanics found things that needed attention, which I am very grateful for. When I went in to pick up the vehicle, the paperwork was still in the shop and the vehicle had not been washed even though she said she had put the request in. I felt that with the vehicle being there for the entire week, she should have had plenty of time to make certain that everything was in order for me to pick the car up. She didn’t even acknowledge me when I went in. She was on hold and certainly could have taken a moment to acknowledge me. In the end, she end up checking me out while on hold. I am very happy with the work that was done on vehicle, I felt that the customer service was lacking.

Brought in my 2017 Mazda 6 (end of lease) and was fortunate enough to end up with Kyle as our Sales Professional. Told him that I was thinking about moving in to a CX5 and he brought me right to one that had just rolled off the truck. It was the Carbon Edition, loved it! We didn’t need to look at any other cars. Went in and stated where we NEEDED to be and he made it happen! He was extremely knowledgeable and Professional. He will be my Sales Professional going forward. Vanessa was very good. I was frustrated because I had made an appointment but for some reason it did not exist. She said they would get me in, and that I would not be able to get my car back that day because my car was old and the parts were not kept in stock, had to be ordered. I still was not happy, but she looked my car up and found a couple of recalls, which meant I could get a loaner car.I do not like all the modern bells and whistles new cars have. She took the time to turn off all the ones she could.All through this she was pleasant. She is the reason I am giving a 4 star review.What brought the review down a bit is because of the appointment problem. My last phone conversation I mentioned my coming in the next morning. The person I talked to said nothing about the appointment not existing.The work done seems to have been done well. My car is running just fine.

Steve is always extremely patient and professional despite me coming for oil changes with my toddler and infant. His customer service is wonderful! My only real complaint is that I usually wait 2hrs and I drive alone from Fernley so I do have to sit in the dealership the entire time with two little ones. The sitting area is nice though and we usually make it out without tears :) Best experience with a dealership that I have ever had!

When I arrived at the dealership, I had an appointment to look at a car. It wasn’t on their lot. But, the we’re willing to go get it. It turned out it had just been sold. For me, it was not a problem because I didn’t have to get a car that day. I had just been looking. They did have another one on their lot. It didn’t have all the ‘bells and whistles’, but I test drove it anyway. I ended up buying it. The sales guys where awesome. Thank you to Danny G and Ben. The whole process went smoothly and everyone was very helpful.

The people who’s working there were rude they even put us on blocked list so we cannot make a call to schedule us for car services.! How sweet is that? I really feel like I was taken advantage of because I was a female and I was in a bad situation. My car was brought into Dolan Mazda initially for an A/C unit repair. Within 24 hours of retrieving the car from the dealership the heads up unit broke (while on a road trip to the Bay Area) and it was taken to a different Mazda dealership for repair of that.Between the two certified Mazda dealerships, some one physically removed (aka STOLE) my navigation chip (pretty sure it didnt grow legs and walk away and I have no reason to sabotage my own vehicle) and of course, no one can be held accountable and neither dealership will even attempt to make that right.Exceptionally poor customer service to a long standing Mazda owner. Will not be using Dolan Mazda (Reno, NV) or Capital Mazda (San Jose, CA) again.

I really liked the service I received at Tom Dolan Reno Mazda. I just moved to this area. I just need regular service oil change and tire rotation.I would have given it a 5, but the lounge area was not great. There is no place in walking distance to get lunch, so you are stuck at the lounge for an hour. I think they should at least have a USB port available or some sort of charging port for phones. Also there should be an area to work on laptops. I head to use the sales area.

I’ve never had issues here. Steve has always been super nice and helpful. Last time we had a weird headlight situation and he was on top of it, and made sure I didn’t have to pay for the replacement due to a recall. They washed my car for free as well. I’m moving this summer and I hope my next Mazda dealership is as good! Thanks for everything!

My experience the second time to Dolan Mazda was better than the first. The service writer was forthcoming and honest I felt and, delivered the car in a timely manner (Im out of town so I had to wait there) Ill ask for Steve when I make an appointment. However, the reprogramming repair for the communication center lasted a couple hours and is back to doing the same thing as before. That was not $69 well spent. I moved from California last November, one of the most expensive states in the U.S. to live... The price for an oil change and tire rotation at Dolan Mazda is just outrageous, I drive a Mazda 3. $100 is robbery.

This review is mostly of Vanessa who is a service advisor. I was lucky enough to work with Steve in the end and he was excellent.Vanessa was dealing with another dealership who was paying for the service. She misunderstood what they told her to do, when they called and emailed to correct her she never replied back. She called me at the end of the day and I requested that we try to resolve it the following day. She instead closed out my service ticket, without notifying me. She then failed to show up the next day for work. Leading the other dealership unable to reach her. When I called to check on my car I had to speak to someone else. Upon seeing the ticket was closed assumed the work was done. I came in to pick up my car to find nothing was done and notes from Vanessa saying the other dealership was refusing to pay.That is when I was lucky enough to work with Steve. He called the other dealership got confirmation that the work was authorized, ordered the parts and set up a new appointment with me. Very apologetic even though it was not his fault. Excellent customer service.I will refuse to work with Vanessa on future appointments.

We moved to Reno from WA and I have a valid oil change package there. When I came to this Mazda they would not validate my package. When I tried to buy a new package they sent me over to Kia who were rude and unprofessional. They told me a couple of different times that the sales people would be in and they never came in. The blonde girl with horribly done makeup was very RUDE! Then when I finally came back over to Mazda (without talking to anyone still) the service guy told me I don’t want to purchase the package because it is not beneficial. What kind of place is being ran here? I am never coming back!!! This was the worst experience I have ever had!

I had a service appointment scheduled for maintenance and due to my husband’s emergency hospitalization the scheduler and Steve, the service advisor, were so very helpful in working around my needs. Since both the dealership and the hospital were over an hour away from home, it was wonderful to get my required service completed when it was convenient. Steve also had the job completed quickly by putting two technicians on my car so that my husband who was just discharged from the hospital and I didn’t have to wait. Thank you!

We purchased our Mazda used from Dolans and love the car but hate the fact that we can’t get the oil changed on a Saturday. I recently had my Mazda in for it’s 45000 mile service and some brake work done. I was very happy with the work on my car but wish that I had not opted to have my car washed. I know that car washes are offered as a courtesy to customers but I would appreciate a little more effort to clean the entire car and not just spray it down and dry it with a dirty towel.

I was on vacation when a piece of truck tire hit my right rear tire cover. It was completely broken and needed to be replaced. When I reached Reno late in the afternoon, I went into Tom Dolans Mazda and asked them to look at it and see if they could repair it the next day. They were super. They had the part and the tech say he would put it on that day even though it required him to stay a little after his shift had ended.They were very helpful, efficient and in one hour I was on my way.I would recommend this dealership to anyone needing a car or service.Thank you so much for your great service to me.

I drive 4 hours to get my car maintenance done here with my pre-paid maintenance plan. They honor their schedule and I have had zero communication issues. They even have a personal shuttle service so you can be dropped off anywhere while you wait (shoutout to Dan). Worth the drive for their service!

Staff was nice. Receptionist answering the phone was super helpful. We pretty much had narrowed our choice down to two trims and 3 color choices before arriving so we were fairly easy customers. Salesman Daniel wasn’t pushy and showed three models to us so we could compare interiors and features. Financing was easy and we received a fair trade in value for our old car. We are happy with the car and sales experience.Now on to the building... We bought a Mazda, but due to a building remodel happening did all the paperwork in the Kia showroom. That showroom was bare bones as far as cheap furnishings and perks. They didn’t even offer hot coffee. (The excuse was Covid, however our family bought a different brand similarly priced new car at another dealer about 5 weeks prior and we were offered a variety of coffees and they continued to offer other options while we waited so we found the COVID excuse kind of flimsy.) The bathroom at Kia was a bit dirty on the floor and ladies room was out of seat covers. We had an 8:30 am appointment so I shudder at what the bathroom will look like later in the day. I know that each amenity costs money and I’m not expecting the same amenities as luxury car dealers offer but a more comfortable experience would have been appreciated especially since this whole process took a few hours. This was with us being decisive buyers, having a large down payment, excellent credit and so on. It may take people much longer if they need to view more models etc... Hopefully the building remodel will offer a more comfortable experience.

Vanessa was professional and courteous. They didn’t think they could calibrate my spare key to my replacement car, but they gave it a shot and pulled it off. It saved me about $200 or more over the cost of a new one. They shuttled me to my apt since my car needed to stay awhile. They even washed my car. I live in Tahoe, it’s hard to keep a vehicle clean with all the snow slush. It’s a pleasure working with them.👍🏼

Daniel was great with showing me various cars without pushing anything on you. Was transparent and honest upfront. Only reason for four stars is due to the financial manager. He was very pushy with selling the extended warranty even after I said no three times. It made me uncomfortable especially since the car salesman Daniel had made my experience smooth up until that point. Overall I love my car and am happy.

I took my car in to have a power steering glitch diagnosed. The initial inspection report I received did not have anything listed for what I brought the car in for, but did recommend $4,800 is services they could do. Since none of the recommendations were for the problem I knew existed, I declined any work. When I picked up the car, they “graciously” waived the diagnostic fee, and on my check out document, it did state they were unable to replicate the problem and no computer codes were found. I find the no computer code comment odd, since another shop found error codes with my steering module. I believe they did not do the work I wanted, but realized that charging me for a lie is a bit of a problem.I will NEVER take a vehicle to them for service or purchase from the ownership group. I do not believe they acted ethically.

Took my newly acquired 2018 Mazda in for an oil change and check before the warranty expiration. The cost of the “30,000 mile recommended service” was going to be $700 - most of which were ridiculous items. Not only that but the items on the list were not itemized by cost nor was there any breakdown. When I inquired the girl at the front offered very little assistance or information. Needless to say I declined this service. The oil change was overpriced (I suppose to be expected from a dealership) and no one offered to discuss my maintenance or their findings. They also recommended replacing 3 of my tires.... that makes no sense to me. And that would have been an additional $700 some dollars (for an incomplete set... and then I have 1 tire that is different/lower tread than the other 3?). I will not be returning here with my vehicle. I’ve had poor experiences at other Dolan dealerships as well in the past.

It gave us a chance to discuss and think about what to have done and was ready to approve.👎We were given a number to text and another number to call with questions, etc... which initially seemed great; however, text replies were delayed or never answered and phone messages were not returned. Communication was very frustrating and I didnt get any help until I was rude to the poor operator!

A potentially bad experience was made wonderfulI had make my appointment for a few recalls to be done a week in advance. I asked over the phone if I would get a loaner for the day (as my recall paperwork stated) and was told that they would put in a request and since it was preplanned I would probably get one.On the day of my appointment it was discovered that no note/request was made. I was sad and stressed with no where to go as I live an hour away.. Then I found out that the parts department had not been notified about my appointment so they weren’t prepared..Steve was AMAZING! He genuinely cared about the inconvenience of the situation and was able to find a way for me to get a rental for the week while my car was getting worked on. I felt so good knowing I didn’t have to drive my car with these safety recalls while they waited for the parts to come in. He was kind and helpful! He did a great job explaining everything that was done for my car. He really made the experience exceptional!A bummer that the phone services weren’t helpful and some signals got mixed. But I would definitely come here again!

So EVERYTIME I book a service, I book online and call and ask if someone can call me with a price. I think they throw my number away, because EVERYTIME I do not receive that phone call.I always say something, and brush off the I’m sorry, but this time (after 2 1/2 years) I expressed my frustration. Vanessa immediately handed me her card with a direct line and said that I should call her.I noticed my car in the parking lot a little over an hour after I got to the shop (I was waiting), so that was fun. I just waited and a little time later was notified that my car needs extra work. Then another message with more work that is needed. I was a little upset about all the money I was spending.When I got to the desk Vanessa was understanding that I was frustrated, and I found out that she was able to find some discounts to apply to my bill. It only totaled $45, but I was pleased that she would try and help me out.Vanessa is a great addition to the Dolan Mazda team, and I really felt like a valued customer when I left.

The Dolan Mazda dealership took care of our 10K check up nicely. The courtesy shuttle was a nice touch since we waited nearby and had breakfast. The CX5 was washed as well. We will continue to have our vehicle serviced at this dealership

Took over 2 hours and 15 mins for an oil change. Office staff spoke to me while wearing head phones, on face time, on her personal phone. They did not use any of the plastic on the seats (Covid). They did not put any paper down on floor boards. Did not wash vehicle. I have been to Mazda in 3 other states and this is, by far, the worst one. They charged me for the tire rotation, where the others did not (if I had known, I would not have had that done). I would recommend a quick lube oil change over this place, 100%.

Once you are there it’s wonderful, but my issue is the lack of transparency of cost. I wanted an estimate for the cost of my service & they wouldn’t give it to me until I gave them my vin number?! The website didn’t tell me any price & the people I spoke with made it difficult since I wasn’t near my car to give them details. I guess you expect all your customers to just be surprised at how much they owe the day of service. Poor planning on your part.

From the moment Nick Martinez approached us I knew we were in for a MUCH better experience than we have ever had with a car dealership! Nick was professional and courteous not the typical pushy manipulative type. It was clear he was there to help with our questions and not just to close a deal. Very quickly we could tell he was a native of the area with that genuine and sincere demeanor weve come to appreciate about native locals. Adding to the pleasure of our experience was John Richmond who handled the paperwork portion. Topping off our evening was Lissa Sandoval who helped give a kick start with the extensive technology aboard our new Stinger. Together this team truly made us feel like family. The Dolans can be quite proud of them all. Well be back for our next purchase no doubt!

First time ever bribing my car to be serviced at this dealership and I was very pleased I did. Sarah at the service counter was super kind and helpful. Also a first for me was their shuttle service able to take me wherever whole my car was being taken care of. The driver for that was super cool too. Great place and great service.
