I got my car tinted about 2 months ago and I was waiting to leave this review and say how happy I am with the results.As soon as I arrived Ed came out and we talked about my car and went inside. I chose the darkness of my tint and paid. Ed said itd take about 3 hours and it took a little over 2 hours. Very punctual and professional. The tint on the car looks clean and high quality.When called to make an appointment they many many availabilities even though they were busy the day I got there.All in all good good prices for good tint.

Just bought my new car and you know I needed to but some tints on it ASAP. I called Jet Black Tint and they told me they had an opening right away. I came in and talked to Ed super helpful and friendly gave me all the information I needed to make the right chose. Loved my experience here. 10/10

Solid work! Ive tinted every car Ive owned, for the last 20 years (at least) and this is, by a far cry, the best tint job I have ever had. I will explain.In the past, every time I had my windows tinted, I had grown accustomed to water marks in my car that were not cleaned up. A few days later, Id notice that, at least, one or more windows had deep scratches in the tint or the tint simply didnt attach completely in some areas. Not with Jet Black!Ed and his crew are extremely professional. I dropped off my brand new car, literally, on the way home from the dealer. It was 20 minutes old. I got it back in the exact condition I dropped it off, with not even a speck of dirt on the floor mats. The quality of the tint is flawless--not a scratch anywhere. The workmanship is on the same level and the customer service is no questions asked and heres why: When I picked up the car, Ed told me that my windows roll down a little bit, automatically, when I open the door and that I should watch for it. A few days later, this caused one of the windows to peel at the bottom. I took it back, worried that they would pass the blame onto me but that was not the case. Ed told me to hang tight--I gave him the keys--and 10 minutes later, he pulled my car up and said, its all taken car of.He also did me a solid on my wifes new E Tron a few months ago, but Ill keep it short and say dont go anywhere but here for your tint, PERIOD

If you want window tint, then Jet Black Tint is the place to go. Ed has worked on two of my cars so far, a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 and a 2002 BMW M3 Coupe.  Both cars came out looking great, and they hooked me up with top-tier ceramic tint to protect the interior from harmful UV radiation. Riding in the car is much more comfortable now, especially in the hotter months, and the A/C works more efficiently. Its a worthy investment and Eds service is top notch!

Theyre the best in the tint job. Only downfall is they messed up the wiring of center brake light from back windshield. However, Ed did the the fantastic job by fixing it later and gave wonderful service for the tint. Highly recommended if youre looking to tint your 🚗.

While waiting In The lobby, I already felt dirty listening to the “used car salesmen pitch” I heard coming from the “specialist” helping the person in front of me . Times like this remind me of why I left sales 15 years ago . The sales pitch was so rehearsed and patronizing I was relieved that my wife had already purchased a Groupon for the service and I wouldn’t have to be “helped” in that way ... WRONG!Immediately I was told that my Groupon doesn’t cover the whole car and all windows, just half...then he went on to blame Groupon for misleading customers, even though each company decides what goes in the “fine print” .I wasn’t even sure if I wanted all of my windows tinted but everything about this place turned me off. I left . I won’t ever go back .

Look my new tint they did a great job. I would go to the one in redwood city. The guy there is super cool down to earth. Check them out. You wont be disappointed. They rock!!

I took my car in to grt 5% all around except the windshield, I asked them to do the 2 feont windows 5%aswwl several times and when I picked up my car they had put 25% in the front windows, completely see through!

The boss Ed is pretty informative about the process, and materials used.. Its a small place, but they back up the great work they do, and there pretty quick about getting their customers in & out.

Just wanted to start by saying that I usually do not take the time to leave reviews unless they are extremely great or extremely not. I got all 5 windows tinted on my sedan this weekend and I couldnt have had a better experience. I purchased my tints via the jetblacktint.com website and everything from the product to the price was clear cut, no surprises. I called to set up my appt, and customer service was great! I arrived about 10 min late to my appt but they were super nice and did not mind at all. The manager, Ed, was very warm and welcoming from the start, and carried the same energy throughout the appt. He explained my purchase in detail and went over all other available options without trying to upsell anything. I ended up upgrading my purchase on my own because his presentation was immaculate, and I did not feel forced by any means. I know salespeople are here to sell, however, he speaks to you like youre family and doesnt make you feel forced to choose anything on the spot. I am usually a hard sell for upgrades if its something I did not consider on my own, but he made the entire experience super easy, and in return I wanted to show my appreciation for that and ended up upgrading. Great job! He asked me to come back 2-3 hours later to pick up my car, but it ended up being ready in about 1.5 hours. 10/10 for Customer Service. Appreciate you, Ed! The tint techs did an immaculate job on the car tints as well, 10/10 for them. I bought a brand new commuter car (sedan) off the lot, and their tint job transformed it to look like a luxury vehicle. Will definitely be back for future tints, and will continue to spread the word to everyone I know to come and have their tints taken care of by Ed and the Jet Black Tint team. Last but not least, their prices beat everyone from SF, down the peninsula, to San Jose. Every other company was charging at the very least $50 more than them, in my experience. People usually are skeptical about cheaper prices because you usually get what you pay for, but the quality here does not apply to that motto.

Save yourself some money and go somewhere else. This place advertises reasonably priced tinting but the workmanship is HORRIBLE. And of course upsells you when you get there.I only got one window tinted and they managed to melt parts of my car (tail lamp, door moulding, quarter moulding)—refuses to fully pay for the damages they have caused. Gave me $200 when a body shop quoted me $645. If my car came to your shop with OEM parts, I expect my car to be repaired with OEM parts considering it is new. If my car came to your shop with aftermarket parts, then you are welcome to replace for the same value. But my car parts are all OEM.OFFERED to fix my car in their shop, but how can I trust you when something you are supposed to specialize in (“tinting”) you can’t even do right?Very unprofessional.Also, Ed, please dont talk to me with your tone as if you are doing me a favor. This is a hassle, not a favor.
