Not up to Marriott standards. Booked an exec suite. No hand towels in the bathroom and if you need anything you have to go down to the front desk and get it. Day staff not friendly. Children swimming in pool in underwear. Sofa bed is not even twin sized. Night staff is friendly. Bring your own pen and paper and cups and toilet paper.

The first room we had did not have hot water. The main clerk was very rude but the manager was not. We were eventually moved to another room by a maintenance man that was most unhelpful. The second room was dirty and many things were broken or poorly repaired. For a newer hotel this is not what you would expect. The building Is unorganized. There is only one bank of elevators for this huge building and they are incredibly difficult to find. They are in a hallway and directions are not clearly marked. Staff was indifferent about our experience. I would not ever recommend staying here. It also appears that people are living here. I would not recommend staying here.

I dont normally post negative reviews. The rooms are nice, but I experienced bed bugs. I understand these things happen, but the response from the management team has been less than stellar. I did not even realize the bites I was experiencing were bed bugs until after I left.I happened to come across a bug while packing up to leave for the airport. I was able to snap a picture and then I left pretty much immediately to catch a flight. Once I got the the airport terminal, I looked up what a bed bug looked like and sure enough, it was a match to the picture I took. I had to get on the flight and could not call the hotel immediately.Once I landed I had to quarantine all my stuff outside and deal with washing/disinfecting everything after a very long day of travel. When I called the next morning, I was promised I would get a call back twice after getting a pretty judge-y response from the front desk on why I did not immediately tell someone (who knows what bed bugs look like without looking it up?!). When I finally got a hold of the manager, he had a very blasé attitude on the situation and told me that particular room has never had a problem with bed bugs. Yikes.I was promised comps and/or reward points for the inconvenience and 1 month later they have still not made good on that promise. Even after a follow up.I would not stay here again.

The rooms were quite clean and nicely appointed... but... there was no HOT WATER. No matter how nice the room is you cant take a shower for two days.. its not fun. The desk personnel seemed to know and didnt care a great deal. Perhaps verify if your room will have hot water prior to staying there.. and ask to be moved to a different room. Dont know that I will go back and I will be going once a month.... Too many places to stay where you wont suffer a cold shower.

Complete disappointment. I chose this hotel because it was close to my customer meeting location. The gym had a set of 45 lb dumbbells and 1 40 lb dumbbell .. No other weights ? The Bistro offered frozen lasagna and hot pockets and other junk food and there were no restaurants in walking distance. There is a funky smell in the lobby area and the place was just gloomy in general.

Pool didn’t have towels and the pool area was not well maintained. I was expecting someone to go through the pool area to clear used towels left by guests from previous day/night in the 4 hours, but no. Expect wind at pool.Front desk is not responsive when calling, which makes requesting pool towels an issue. Note: do not use white towels in pool area. For a courtyard that is tooting to be “new”, it misses the mark for what new means. It definitely does not have that “new” feel.The gym has missing dumb bells. No towels there as well.There are EV charging stations on 2nd floor, they are not locked, but you will need to turn them on.

Laundry list of complaints: got a suite and it feels unfurnished, there is 1 office chair 1 armchair and 1 loveseat, no dresser, no hot water, the freeway is so loud it made it hard to sleep, the walls and floors are so thin I could hear the people above us any time they moved, being charged for parking on top of the cost of the room, the worst pillows and bedding I have ever experienced in a 3 star hotel. Staff was the only part of the stay that I enjoyed. Patricia is very friendly and was more than helpful. If I was reviewing Patricia it would be 5 stars. This place is just plain not comfortable.

Stay away from this place! It’s loud as hell during. 40+ DbA from AC units would make you suffer all night and you’ll get real insomnia really fast. And no, earplugs won’t help.UPD: also I have some red bites on my skin the next day and I’m almost certain it is not from riding BART.

Decent hotel in convenient location. However, my room was on the freeway side so super loud. Need to upgrade that side of the building to accommodate for noise. On site parking. Restaurant not currently open. Ice machines turned off. And they have removed all coffee makers from the rooms. Had to ask for cups for water to take meds.

Beautiful place. I like how the windows are blacked out that face the pool. Love that they rent the rooms out for a few hours. Only thing is the price is only $10 less. Little costly but such a nice place. Be aware, all restaurants, bars and Cafes are closed because of Covid

I like the size of the rooms. Always spacious and clean. Staff is nice. Parking is decent but can get a little tight. Price is reasonable and its centrally located to lots of places.Only draw back is they dont clean your room each day. I guess because of Covid, but I dont like that.

Positive: The staff was very nice and asked if we needed anything special in our room since my daughter is in a wheelchair. Negative: Just minor things. An outlet didn¿t work, the fridge didn¿t have a shelf and we didn¿t have washcloths already in the room. Nothing big or that would make me not want to stay there again.

Positive: I did not like this hotel at all. The room was tiny and they froze $250 for a deposit that I had no knowledge about. My brother had a leaky coffee thermos that leaked on the bed and seeped to the mattress cover and I was then charged $250 Negative: I was charged a $250 cleaning deposit. The manager said they had to dispose of the mattress. I went to the hotel and there were no mattresses thrown away. So the manager lied and they took my money. I am very upset

Needs improvement- My 4oom had a towel missing and all of the towels were dirty upon my check in. No room service had to take the dirty towels down to the front desk myself to show proof and get a whole new set. Didnt feel welcome in by the hotel during my stay. The room was nice, but the walls are a bit thin. The guests in the room next door had a huge argument from 1:00AM until about 2:40 AM when they stormed out of the room. We could hear the whole argument and got very concerned when it sounded like it almost got physical.In addition, we found a medical syringe under the chair, luckily it did not have the sharp part still attached. That was a bit troubling to find and showed housekeeping doesn’t move the items around when cleaning. This issue was addressed with Mr. Abdul Hakim when we checked out and an email was also sent with photos, but we never received a response?There were no cups in the room and coffee is only available for a small window of time in the morning. Ice machines still don’t work and you must go to the front desk for ice which is somewhat inconvenient.

I stayed here for 20 days due to my Covid quarantine. The room was cozy and clean, the staff was helpful (they took the trash everyday and changed the towels or the bedsheets whenever I requested). Their internet connection is fast, the laundry is acceptable and gym has everything you need.Even if I was several thousand miles from my house, I felt like it was home.

Im a flight attendant- I stay at a LOT of hotels. I love this one. Rooms are new, showers are big, beds are comfortable, microwave and fridge standard in every room, etc. Its just well done.The staff are the stars of this hotel. They keep me coming back.A walk in the bird reserve, Bair Island, is also here- and it is just wonderful.

Placed my reservation online with my debit card. Got there and was asked for a safety deposit because I wasn’t paying in credit. (Makes sense)It’s been about a month later. Haven’t gotten my safety deposit back. I called them and was told told I never placed a reservation online and that my safety deposit was the actual charge for the room. This wasn’t a misunderstanding. Let me be clear, the lady at the front desk said, “ you’ll get your money back after 2 weeks. Was charged &300 for a $150 room. Outraged.

The Good:Conveniently located of 101; clean rooms; comfortable beds; friendly, helpful staff.The Rediculous:Mask requirement for guests not enforced.Only guest-use luggage cart for entireNO ICE, -machines are turned off with a paper taped on that says, Due to COVID-19 The State of California.... which seems untrue to me unless the six other hotels ive stayed at in the past three months have gone rouge with their working ice machines (you can take your ice bucket down to the resteraunt and they will grudgingly squeeze you out a few cubes).I like my drinks Ice Cold and the incredibly cheap in-room refrigerator was not cold; it had no temp adjust/no little freezer AND (get this) it had a little button on the inside that had to be pushed every two hrs or uniuturned off!!Marriott, if youre listening:It would be far better to have no in-room refrigerator than to insult/disrespect your guests by inflicting them with this model. It may save $2 per room; but it costs several fold more than that in customer dissatisfaction. In my opinion if your brand is a concern; you need to fire both whomever suggested it and whomever Okd it.Several additional smaller issues take this location down several notches from where it could/should be.

This place is so gross!!! The pillow case was full of yellow stains (it looks even worse in person than in this picture). Bedsheet also had hair and stains. They clearly didn’t change it. This is unacceptable no need to mention it’s even COVID time. I also found it insulting that they ‘upgraded’ me from 4th floor to 5th after this. You think I care about being one floor higher after this experience? All I wanted was clean bedsheet handed to me so I can make sure it’s indeed clean, not another filthy room that might have the same issue. Too bad Marriott used to be the only brand I trust but not anymore...

We came in, got our room quickly, no issue, and was surprised at the niceness of the room. Everything was aces. Food in the restaurant was super duper. The free water is a nice touch, thanks for that. Starbucks coffee, ah yes thank you! The lobby is quite inviting and the little snack shop is great as well. Perfect snack selection. Ill stay over and over again. The bedding was special, great pillows too, love the bathroom, spacious and good lighting. Good spot!

A nice hotel which is about halfway between both San Francisco and San Jose. You will need to either rent a car or take an Uber/ Lyft to get around since there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance. The hotel has a nice large lobby, bar and small restaurant with a pretty good breakfast menu. The fitness center is average for hotel this size. They need to update their cardio video system or have a person on staff to keep it working. They also probably need another workout bench if a few people are working out.

When you first walk in the lobby area was welcoming, plush chairs and a television if you care to watch. On registration, the person was friendly. Due to allergies we requested pillows and covers be hypo-allergic materials. The front desk contacted housekeeping to confirm the room as requested was done. The search for a hotel near Stanford Medical is daunting when trying to find a room with a roll in shower. I was so surprised and grateful that the room was above and beyond what we expected for our son who is in a wheelchair. Everything about the hotel is modern, clean and convenient. I stay here often when I work in RWC. This is a great hotel. I think the only drawback is the location is out of the way, so food options are limited without a drive. They do offer wonderful food at the restaurant, but I feel the menu is somewhat limited. Overall I think this hotel is great.

EDIT: increase to three stars because I did get confirmation that I wasn’t charged for the room within an hour. Still think the whole thing was not handled well.I reserved a king bed room for one night. I showed up, checked in, was greeted warmly and sincerely. When I got to my room it was a double queen. I called down and asked if I had the right room. I was told that I hadn’t been informed but there had been water damage and my room was not available because the hotel was booked out. I asked why I hadn’t been told at check in and asked if I still wanted the room (which I didn’t). They said they were sorry. I asked if that was all they could do, and was informed that the hotel was booked full, they couldn’t do anything. I hung up, booked at another Marriott location, then went down stairs and asked hem to cancel my booking and refund me. They started to say “let’s see what else we can find here.” I had just been told that the hotel was booked, and nothing was available, but now magically they could look for other options. I told them no, I had already booked somewhere else, even if they could find something that didn’t fix the problem here.I was informed they would make a kit and tell the manager. I asked if they could confirm I would get a refund. They said no, they weren’t the manager. I asked how they had authority to change my booking without informing me and yet no authority to make sure I was refunded. They repeated the same thing. Not sure where he manager was, but owners of this facility should look into how the manager is training their folks. I never should have been let that room without being informed about it. Now happily ensconced at a neighboring Residence Inn.This property is in a weird location, and staff definitely were not professional or helpful, even if they were nice. I won’t be back, not the customer service or honesty I associate with this brand, of which I am a loyal customer.

The Hotel is lovely, offers Fitness Facilities and Pool, the room are clean and spacious, few toiletries are missing in the bathroom. As well, you might not receive the room you reserved, as they dont hold it for your arrival. First come first serve, I reserved a King bed, but received a Queen bed.The restaurant menu is very limited and is not open the whole day. The Hotel is located in a Business Park, in order to have food, you have to leave the Business Park,l either to Redwood city center or even San Francisco.The Stuff is very pleasant and helpful, I enjoyed their service.

The hotel is functional and gives you what you need, a comfortable place to sleep. But I found the road noise was terrible and the car lot opposite would often have deliveries through the night. I know this because the delivery driver would sound his horn to let me know!!But what makes this hotel so good is the fantastic staff they have taking care of you. From breakfast to dinner, nothing is too much trouble. I was 8000km from my family but the staff made me feel at home.

Brand new hotel, and despite being very close to the freeway, nice quiet rooms with tasteful decor and comfortable beds. A nice pool for a quick splash (no hot tub) rounds out the experience. The breakfast offering during our stay was a bit slow and the quality not quite what the pictures promised, but since a clean, modern hotel and a comfortable bed are more important to us, the breakfast issue was minor.

It’s ok. Rooms are comfortable but location is terrible....right next to highway, no restaurants close by. Patio isn’t worth sitting on unless you want to look at the Toyota dealership. Also toilet paper is single-ply. 4 stars instead of 3 because it’s clean. Oh and parking is $11/day...ouch. Bar was out of two of the cheaper wines for happy hour. I also don’t think the outdoor table gets used much. It’sCovered in dust. What a shame because the weather is so nice.

The hotel is very clean and is decorated to appeal to modern taste. The staff was courteous and helpful. I wasn’t offered an upgrade (as a gold elite member)but the room suited me fine. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Perhaps the only criticism I have is that the water pressure was not ideal and the temperature did not get very hot. Oh breakfast ordered at Starbucks was so good! Overall solid hotel at a great price (for Sf) and I would definitely book again.

The stay itself was ok. My problem is with the billing/customer service. After check out I was sent a final statement. With this Statement was a Misc charge of $150. Did not say for what. I had to call to find out that my family and I were being accused of theft. I waited 40 minutes on hold to speak to the manager, without anyone getting on the line and apologizing for the wait time. According to the manager, we stole a hair dryer and a charger. When I explained that I was 100% sure that myself, my husband, my 5yr old daughter or my 8yr old did not remove anything that was not ours from the room, the manager became very rude. I have never been spoken to the way she did. Definitely was not professional. I was told that the items were there prior to our arrival and gone when we left. I have never taken something that was not mine. My family did not take these items and seeing that the only other people that entered the room was staff.. Maybe they should be questioned and rudely accused as I was. I have no use for these items and I have no reason to lie. She did not even give me the benefit of the doubt. She continued to talk over me and was just plan rude. Maybe Courtyard Marriott needs to look at their staff and their customer service. I will never step foot in another Marriott after this situation. I am 100% offended. Yes, if you need a name I have one. I have also complained to the corperate office. We came for a specialty appointment for my Daughter at Stanford, as if we did not have enough stress!

I love how clean n organized things looked here. Only problem is Im a mother of 3. My room was too far from elevator and it was jus too confusing to get to certain places I needed to go. And the receptionist didnt give me a hr I requested in the pool with my family. I wish she had told me I will need to come to the front desk and get a key n give her my drivers license a hour prior or when we scheduled it at 12am which is the time for us to call in for an appt. So imagen being lost with 3 kids under 8 yrs old youngest 3. Other than that my kids had a good time.

I used to live near where this hotel is now. It didn’t exist back then so I knew it would be new. I didn’t imagine they would have made it so modern and cozy. A lot is being built nearby that feels more like a “capitalize while we can” than “build this to matter and last”. I definitely feel like this hotel falls into the second category. I still live about an hour away so I can’t imagine I’ll stay again but if the circumstances presented themselves again, i wouldn’t hesitate to book a room.Very nice in all regards, from staff to facilities.

Came to enjoy the sights in San Francisco and just to kick back and enjoy the food there coz were foodies. Unfortunately after a day & night in the City we just could not stay another night. A friend recommended the Courtyard in Redwood City, we were not disappointed at all. The cleanliness of the whole place inside & out. The staff were the friendliest from the front desk to housekeeping they went above and beyond the call of duty. The rooms were clean, bed was super comfy. We were able to go into the City and leave to the comfort of Coutyard in Redwood City. Thank you for making our experience in San Francisco a wonderful one!

Ive only needed to interact with service start at check-in and check-out; in either case they have been courteous and professional. The reason I didnt give 5 stars is the location. Excellent place to stay.I stayed here for 10 days on a business trip and it was a pleasing stay. Rooms were nice- clean and spacious. Bathrooms were also good. Their service was prompt and good. They only limitation is that they dont have a proper restaurant there and there is no shops/restaurants nearby. Youll have to drive/hire a taxi if you need to get anything. But there is a bistro which also serves Starbucks to take care if you need to grab a quick bite and also a shelf with essentials like water/soft drinks/ chocolates etc.They overall experience from check-in to check-out was pleasing and hence rating 5 stars.

I love staying here. Its super family oriented, not pretentious and super laid back. The cost is very reasonable for a hotel on the strip. The rooms are always clean, always. Recommended!

The hotel is very easy to get in and out of, has ample safe parking, and access to a great walking path along the marsh. Bird watchers and outdoor runners/walkers will really enjoy this feature. The hotel is modern and comfortable. Our room was clean and had all modern conveniences that were clean and in working order. All staff were very helpful and friendly. A great spot for a low-stress stay near Redwood City, which has many great restaurants and historic sites. I learned it was the first town on the SF peninsula! Great history.

We had the greatest experience at the Marriott in Redwood City! Great service, rooms were stylish and very clean! Food/drinks in Cafe were fantastic! Came into town for a Dr. appointment and the Courtyard made it an extremely pleasant experience!

Loved this hotel! The staff was great. They were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Great location and clean, comfortable rooms. I was there for a week with my family. We had two different rooms. Every member of the family was happy and comfortable.

Hotel itself was fine for our purposes. Had we not had a disagreement about the way the billing was handled, they would have had a much higher rating however, when we arrived, we were told they we had no reservation. We had never received a confirmation email so there was nothing we could do to argue and assumed we had made a mistake when booking. We were traveling with other clients and kids, so we had no choice but to book a room right then, at a higher rate.Days after our stay, my credit card was charged twice for rooms. Upon calling the hotel, I found one charge was for the no-show on the original reservation. I explained that the desk clerk couldnt find the original reservation so we had to book another room. I wanted a refund on the no-show reservation and partial refund the cost of the newer booking, which was booked at a much higher rate because it wasnt booked in advance. A refund seems fair to me, since the higher cost wasnt my fault. The person I spoke to on the phone said she would have her supervisor call me back. Two days later a supervisor called me back and left a message that she had authorized the refund of the no-show but refused any other refund.If this had been my fault, I would have accepted that it was my problem and let it go but it wasnt our fault, and we paid a lot for the hotels mistake. The fact that they wouldnt fix it is a big problem for me. I wasnt asking for a full refund, I was just asking for a rate that would have been comparable to what we would have paid if the original reservation was not lost. Personal and professional accountability is important to me so I will not stay at this hotel again.

What a beautifully done hotel. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a suite (love reward loyalty!) and it was beyond comfortable with a great balcony and a really nice view. Also a great location very near many bars and restaurants covering all tastes. My only complaint is the low quality toilet paper. Like I didnt know TP could be this bad low. Odd for an otherwise well appointed hotel, but also not a deal breaker and we would gladly stay here again.

This is new hotel and it’s modern, clean and comfortable. If you enjoy a nice walk, there is a great walking trail next to the property and a nature reserve with walking trails just across the street. If you like to have a healthy breakfast, the bistro offers several options at reasonable prices. The bistro staff is amazing and will gladly go above and beyond if you want to customize your options.

Very nice modern hotel. Rooms are large and up to date. Staff is very friendly and the hotel was spotless. I took one star off because the hotels food options were okay but not great, and the location is close to the highway and not much else. I didnt have a car so unless I wanted to order an Uber (10 to 20 minute waits were normal during rush hour) I was pretty confined to the hotel.
