I love attending Tosetti because on my first day attending, I felt instantly welcomed and invited into the supportive and positive community that the Tosetti family has made. I was worried to join any mma institute because I was worried of messing up my already funky wrists, but after explaining my concerns and goals, Melissa, Paul, and the other instructors helped me work around my wrists and always checked in on me. I truly appreciate the dedication they all have to make everyone feel welcomed and heard and comfortable.

Some of the best workouts and most fun I have ever had in a gym. Anyone contemplating learning martial arts or looking for somewhere to train should make the Tosetti Institute their first stop. I came to the Tosetti Institute without any background in martial arts taking my first class with Geralyn and then more with Melissa. Paul, Melissa and Geralyn are extremely knowledgeable and great coaches regardless of your level and background. Their willingness, patience and welcoming attitude makes this a great place for all. When you walk into the gym, you immediately feel part of something bigger than yourself. Excellent facility, experience and teaching.

This is an amazing organization run and operated by smart, talented and friendly people. Your first week is completely free. They really want you to learn and are able to give you the attention that you need to get better. I commute from SF to go here. 100% worth it!

I started taking Longsword classes with Coach Paul about five years ago and hes patiently taken me from an uncoordinated teenager with no martial arts background to a competent fencer with the confidence to fight in open tournaments. Paul frequently references the manuscripts from which the techniques are coming and the instruction addresses both the historical reality and what is practical in the modern tournament setting.Drills generally start simple enough for a beginner to grasp, then progress until the more advanced students are practicing close to freeplay. Classes are conducted with competitive value and good humor. The other students are friendly and respectful, quick to laugh, and quicker to lend a hand.

I have been training in Martial Arts as well as other sports for over 2 decades and I always keep learning new things while attending the Tosetti Institute of MMA and Fitness. Whether its fitness classes or martial arts classes, you always learn new and fun techniques and exercises. All of the instructors try to keep the classes interesting and find time to learn what each student wants to learn or gain from attending the Tosetti Institute. Another big shining point is that there isnt a big air of intimidation when you enter the studio. Everyone is there to have a good time and most will chat it up with you between or after classes. Another good point about the Institute is that they have a huge selection of classes. Some info on the classes:They have fitness classes for all those who want to jump into group classes which work the entire body. There are mixed martial arts, grappling, takedowns, and striking classes available that involve honing techniques as well as sparring with classmates. There is western martial arts which is weapon martial arts such as German long swords, sideswords, daggers, shields, halberds, spears, and more.If you want a great place to workout with no pressure and a positive atmosphere, this is an awesome choice. If you want to take your martial arts training to the next level, this is an awesome choice. I hope to see you on the mat one day!

Great exercise, clean facility, wonderful atmosphere, and knowledgeable coaching. I mostly do HEMA Longsword here (little bit of sidesword and MMA) and whether youre a total beginner or an experienced sword fighter youll fit right in.If youre interested in jumping RIGHT into learning actual, legitimate sword arts (and putting them into practice against your teammates), this is the place to be. You will have a sword in your hand on your first day. They offer a complete, full free week to anyone who wants to try things out so make the most of it.
