Really should be no stars.. Terrible experience. Rip off when you agree to get a car wax for 50.00 and they only wash the outside. Very disappointed. Wont be going there again. Be careful of the fine print.

Consistently terrific car wash when you are in the South Bay. They do a great job and when it’s not too crowded you get in and out pretty quick.

Pay $50 to get your car barely vacuumed. They took less than 10 minutes to get my car back to me. Proves that they barely spent time cleaning it. And I still gave them tip.

Ive been going to this carwash for years. Last time I was there something they used dried out my dashboard which made it chalky. The manager that helped me today was extremely attentive and the whole team did a great job. Be warned: I got bit 4x by mosquitoes while waiting on the bench parallel to pch, just sayin. Overall I recommend this place. Bonus: they provide individually wrapped cookies & their gift shop has some fun items.

Had $80 service got $8 actual job. So sad. Was hoping I found that right spot but NO! I learned my lesson. Wont be going back.

People were nice

The early bird special on weekdays 8-10am is super. Free vending machine Sbux coffee, cookies and a great massage chair ($1). All in all, I am thrilled with their service. Good job all!

Expensive for what it is. I paid $18 for a basic wash and the outside was clean enough, but the inside left much to be desired. Could have done a better job myself and been quicker too (the line was long when I went). Probably wont go back here.

Altogether, not a terrible experience. The cashier was great... Friendly, outgoing, and social. Free snacks and coffee (for those who are daring). Wash and dry inside and out for $15. Need to come in the morning between 8-10 for cheaper rate. Lots of places to sit and catch someone me rays.

I have been going to Hollywood Riviera Car Wash for over a long time. I am never happy with the quality of their work, but I always try to support local businesses! They used to have good gas price, but not anymore. My last visit was the worst. I paid for a hand wash. 30 minutes went by and I noticed no one was washing my car. I asked the gentleman who took my order what was going on. He told me he did not have anyone to wash my car. I ask how long until he could get to my car, he said he didn’t know. It took 10 more minutes to get my money back (needed the managers).50 minutes total: No car wash & a full tank of very expensive gas!

Always have done a good job for me

I used them twice last October, when visiting (Im from SLC). After reading through these reviews, I might have gotten lucky. :P But I got a basic wash, and felt that the wipe down afterward was above average. Hit and miss? Likely, in this business. When youre away from home and need your bug spattered ride cleaned, this is a good place to get gassed up and cleaned off. I cant speak to any other service they offer.

I wouldnt recommend to anyone. I have Use their service several times now and every time I have been unhappy with the service they provide. I operate a transportation company and I am very generous when it comes to tipping. I tip $3 for the vacuum and 8 to $10 to the dryers depending on the service they provide and yet they do shoddy work on my car. I always have the white the car down myself after theyve done. I only use this car wash under emergencies and I would suggest the same to anyone else. No matter how much you take care of them, they seem not to care about the service they provide. Pricing on their basic washes is that the norm, aprx $17. The 3 star rating I gave is me being on the generous side.

Never having my car washed here again. Because the location is convenient for me I tried several times to cut this place a break, but no more. They just dont do a solid job. There is always water left somewhere, or the rims arent clean. And as happened again today, they almost always leave the windshield wipers turned on so as soon as I start the car up on they go smearing water across the windshield. Not getting my business any longer.

Wow - wish I had read these reviews before I went there. Ive been here a few times to get my car detailed and they always did a great job - not anymore! I spent $120 and they didnt even vacuum the back, did a poor job all the way around, looked like a $5 wash, not the complete hand wax and polish they sold me. Dont waste your money here.

BEWARE - I spent $129 to get my interior detailed. They ruined my rear floor mat (shredded the corner of it) and did not tell me. And they sprayed cleaner into my radio display and knocked out half of the lighting, blacking out the time display. I was able to get my money back for the detail, but fixing the display will cost over $300. The manager never got back to me when I sent the photos they asked for.All of this AND they did a horrible job on the detail itself. BEWARE! Really. I wouldnt bother writing this review if it wasnt exactly that terrible.

Really disappointed. Took my new car for a wash...just needed a good vacuum from 2 weeks at beach camp. Didnt realize until I got home but its like they didnt touch the inside. I had to vacuum it myself and then clean the scuff marks off the doors/side of seats. Not sure what I just paid $20 for!!

Always trying to push you a more expensive wash when there is no difference between washes. Interior detailing is always half work. There are way better places for less $$$

Lets face it. Everybody has had one bad experience at a carwash. Ive been to Hollywood Riv. Car wash about a hundred times. No major problems, no damage, guys will always go back and touch up a spot or two. The manager even let me come back to pay once when I left my wallet home. Nice, good clean place.

Today the employees seemed jaded and the service sucked. I am a frequent car wash goer and its such a nice location too bad the quality is lacking! Time for customer friendly service training guys.

The Hollywood Riviera Carwash has easy access on PCH at Avenue G. The service writer is friendly, suggestive & keeps the cars & trucks moving along. The cashiers are always friendly and the area has a great card selection, as well as theres a steady stream of fre shly back chocolate chip cookies. -- The staff drying and polishing the cars work quickly and are reasonably polite. The work is consistently good. Thnx.

They don’t clean your trunk unless you specifically request it. They don’t tell you this and when I brought the car back to have it vacuumed they acted like I was the idiot for not knowing that.

Pretty expensive, and the facilities could use an upgrade ... but they were very friendly and did a great job getting the tree sap/pollen off of my car.

Just sucks. Employees are so dishonest.They broke my stuff in the car, but they didnt do anything even apologize, and finally they ran a way from me.

I wouldnt recommend using this place unless you only need a basic wash and dont mind doing a once-over of your car afterwards. I got a detail package but found I still had to grab a cloth when I got home to get the leftover cleaning product off the interior and bird poop off the exterior.

I paid $15 for a car wash and vacuum. Dirt and broken leaves were still in the carpet, dirt on the windshield, dust on the dashboard. Overall just a bad car wash.

Do a good job

They broke my antenna and when I called to tell them they put me on hold and since they were closing in 10 minutes they kept answering and not saying anything as if they really are gonna chase me away that easy please ! Deal with you mistakes.
