We ordered a hot tub in October 2020 and were told that ordering it customer would make it a priority.After we paid the deposit, we were told that to make sure that it would arrive by May that we would need to target one of the ones they already had on order.We were told it would arrive in May.Then as we got closer to May, it was June.Then it was June / July.Then it was October.These were not proactive notifications, we had to call the store or send and email and were surprised each time.Frustrated to hear about October, we went to Richs who could commit to having one to us in mid-July.I then cancelled my deposit on the hot tub with Richs because the Aqua Quip regional manager Id been put in contact with said he called the factory and it was on track for Mid-july.Being late June, I called today and was told it would be delivered in September. Another major slip and no communication from AquaQuip.Throughout the process, we were told they were unable to confirm ship dates until a week before delivery.We had bought many things from AquaQuip in the past (green eggs, saber grills, pool supplies, accessories, etc.) but this pattern weve seen has been thoroughly disappointing.If youre looking to buy a hot tub from them be sure to ask -How long is the back order for hot tubs?When will you be able to confirm the ship date for my hot tub?How often do dates slip for delivery of a hot tub?How often do dates slip multiple months from expectations set at time of purpose.I had another hot tub that could have been delivered but canceled it because the hot tub color aligned to the rest of our renovation and I had assurances that the factory had been contacted and July was a date I could have confidence in.Ill re-post when I actually get the hot tub, if you dont see an update here, you know Im still waiting.
This company does it right - they have great people who are helpful, attentive, and most importantly, knowledgeable about their products. We have a hot tub we bought from them and the in store team has been great to work with. Highly recommend this company for anyone who is interested in working with true professionals -
We bought a gas fireplace from Aqua Quip and had a good experience with the sales person, gas installer, electricians and part replacement guy. The installation took place much sooner than what weve expected and all installers showed up one after another in a very coordinated manner. One of the fireplace parts had rust on it which we didnt have a problem with, but Aqua Quip ordered a replacement anyway at no cost.Their price was the same as everyone elses (we got several bids), but they were the only ones who had an option of contemporary looking insert with stones and crystals inside as opposed to wood.
We’ve now had our hot tub about a year and a half. We’ve had several major issues with it. We even purchased one that was low maintenance. Customer service for getting repairs is very difficult. I had to talk to 3 different people today to set up an appointment for repair which is three weeks away. When purchasing a hot tub I would highly recommend asking what their service department is like. I’m very disappointed that three weeks on a maintenance seems to be the normal for them.

I just bought my first hot tub from Aqua Quip and I couldnt be happier. Yes, things were a bit slower due to Covid, but my salesperson Aaron Bates was top notch. I dont think there is probably much he doesnt know about hot tub and he was patient and helpful as we made the choice for our family. Once we committed, Aaron kept in good communication, responded at any time when I had an inquiry and was always there to help. Once everything was installed, there were a couple minor problems and Aaron stepped up again and helped me solve them quickly and without a service call. I cant say enough about how great Aaron was during the whole process (And no he hasnt paid me or even really asked me to do this - I am just that impressed with him.) I was very happy with my Aqua Quip experience overall and am learning to enjoy the process around managing spa chemicals (hah).
Helpful staff, usually not too busy so you can ask for as much help as you need. The staff are patient and friendly. Plus they will test your hot tub water for free to tell you what chemicals to add. Glad to have this right next to my work!
Loving our experience with Aaron Bates from the Redmond location. Great with communication and follow up from initial conversations, ordering and installation. Great to have someone on your “team” when navigating such big decisions and problem-solving!
They have all pool supplies and they can build pools and do maintenance on all types plus hot tubs additionally barbecues everything for fun in the sun.Great place and great people!

Purchased a Weber genesis propane grill a year ago. It has been a good grill. The only knock is when I brought it home from the store the tank indicator gauge has never worked properly.

Got a great deal on an awesome Jacuzzi tub. We use it way more than I anticipated. Aqua Quip did a great job getting us set up and teaching us how to maintain it. Requires a little diligence but not hard....and the reward is worth it. Great company to work with.
Lots of stuff, but the staff seems fairly disinterested and unfriendly. Went in looking for a part along with an interest in a new cover and some accessories. Clerk informed me that they didnt carry the part I needed and directed me to a competitor. After that, apparently the conversation was over as far as they were concerned. Ok - I guess thanks for saving me spending more time and money at your store.
Wonderful experience with Derek and Aaron at the Redmond store. We started our hot tub search about 6 months ago and just within the last month got serious and finally made the purchase on a Jacuzzi J325. They stuck with us through the whole process and answered all the questions we had so we could make an educated decision. Delivery with their sub-contractor Spa Go was flawless and easy. Thanks!
Aqua Quip grill cleaning service is amazing! Aaron did a fantastic job on my grill. It was totally gross. I try to keep up with it but dont always have time. The build up of grease and gunk was awful. But Aaron made it look like new. Really outstanding service and one I would highly recommend as a great value.
Had them come install a fan control module. It hasn’t turned on since then. So we had them come back out, and they had to remove the cover and flip the pilot light on. So they charge us $100 to do this when they are the ones that worked on it last. Called in to dispute, and they refused to waive the charge. Not an honest way to do business!

Getting parts for sons gas fireplace, they were great and had what I needed.
They basically told me that they werent interested in fixing my hot tub. That they would be interested in selling me a new one. This after spending 600$ on a new cover with them.

The guys at Aqua Quip in Redmond have, for the past five years or so, provided my wife and me with over-the-top customer service every time weve done business with them. Specifically:Back in September 2011, when I owned a Traeger grill that was unbelievably unreliable (it didnt come from Aqua Quip) and I decided to upgrade to a Green Mountain Grill, David and Aaron went well out of the way to assemble my GMG, deliver it to my home AND haul away the Traeger.I recently added a second GMG from Aqua Quip and David and Aaron assembled the newer, bigger and badder GMG and delivered it to my home after their work day had ended.This weekend we decided to add some deck heaters to our outdoor lineup. Same stellar customer service from Aqua Quip. Heaters have been ordered and David and Aaron are going out of their way, again, to assist with assembly and have them ready for us to pick up in a week.All of his is merely some honest and objective feedback of two Redmond customers who believe in shopping locally whenever and wherever we can.Oh, and the price for the heaters we just bought? The same as a major online retailer, but the online heaters wouldnt have arrived assembled. (Wed have bought from AQ even if the online price had been better, by the way.)

Aqua Quip maintenance and repair of the pool and hot tub was expensive and inexperience people working in the service department.
They know about spas but, it wasnt pleasant to hear that I need 8 different products to keep my 500 gallon spa.
