Super competitive rates if you only want a membership to the Redmond gym. Taking good covid precautions (hand washing stations and hand sanitizer, need reservations for busy times, and fans to bring fresh air). Still putting new routes on the wall. Not a huge fan of the overhang wall being used for app routes (hard for me to follow). Otherwise still great with friendly staff.

Great little climbing gym with a surprising amount and variety of routes and problems. Cool crowd, lots of training options, and plenty of places to rope up.

Friendly staff and pretty affordable pricing. All their equipment is looked after. I usually boulder and they usually change the routes every week or so I think. During the winter they have heating too.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Prices seem reasonable comparatively. Runs get reset at a reasonable interval. I dont have much to compare it to other than Vertical world Lynnwood. Only been indoor climbing for a few years.

Great Gym, good routes, changed regularly. Solid bouldering and top rope area with space to lead and some auto belays so solo climbers. Reservation system works well so you can sure to have space and not worry about Covid limits.

Great place for beginners and intermediate level, too small and simple for advanced level. Open there website and find info about test, if you know everything you can pass the test, if not book lesson for the first time or google, that part you do not know. If you moved from different state, they have different rules (they have one test in general, even if you do not do lead belay, there is 2 parts of the test that you should pass) Otherwise you will be allowed only to bouldering area. Ruining my day completely. They do not have anyone to show rest of the test, you never did before and never will use in the future, but should do once to pass the test.

Nice place. The team is really helpful, nice and fun. You have to take an initiation at the beginning of you want to climb ( with the rope ) But the team try to provide you this service as soon as they can. In my case I was there to bouldering so I didn’t need the initiation! The space is not that big but enough to discover if you are beginner and to practice if you already have a good level. They usually change the wall frequently which is very good to progress. TheY also have gumIn Seattle and sodo !

I just started here about a month and a half ago, brand new to indoor bouldering. Staff is solid with the onboard process, and can give you a nice welcome/onboard info session about the gym if you need. The walls are pretty awesome here, I am still very new to bouldering, but after making some experienced friends and a few long sessions I’ve been able to solve some problems I did not think I could! Highly recommended if you’re looking to start your bouldering ventures. Environment is great in the gym, people are all super friendly and welcoming.

While shopping around for a climbing gym, I decided to go with Vertical World and love my decision! The gym has a good amount of space and with lots of different route options so you never really have to wait. The vibe here is laid back and the staff and members are very nice and helpful. Compared to other climbing gyms, I like the variety of routes here. The jump from one level to the next isn’t impossible. It’s also nice to a nice section of auto belays so you can top-rope without a partner.

Vertical World is a great place for all levels of climbers. If you are coming in for a small workout or training for competitions, you can always get exactly what your looking for. The staff is awesome and will always help you with your needs. I would definitely recommend this climbing gym to all.

Went for my birthday. Terrible experience. Horrible staff and assistance. Acting like everyone that walks in the door is experienced with rock climbing, belaying, and knowing how to tie knots. Not everyone does. Some people like me who just came in to do it for fun not knowing how to belay or really tie knots they made me feel terrible. They limit on what people can do based off of their knowledge of what to do when it comes to climbing. I WOULD NOT come here if you are not experienced. I definitely wouldn’t come again. It was a major disappointment.

Its hot during the summer, but there is a lot to do here! The weights section leaves something to be desired, though, as the equipment is VERY old and a bit rusty. The walls are nice, if rated a little soft.Photo is of my brother climbing for the first time.

Good: many routes, lots of auto belays, friendly service, fairly cheap. Bad: crummy fitness area, terrible music, short walls. The music is subjective, I guess. If you like midtempo white rock, maybe this place is for you?

Love the atmosphere here! They always play great music and are very friendly. You can hand in your keys to get a free locker for the day. Day passes are about $17 (with tax) and to rent shoes is $5. Monthly membership is about $75 a month. There is a small gym area in addition to the climbing. There is bouldering and top roping and they change out some routes every week so there is always variety!

Friendly staff and good routes. Most times they top out at 5.11- but soon have a couple higher than that. But while some other gyms in the area may have higher walls, VW has better quality walls where routes will often require use of natural features. A couple of good cracks here on auto-belays provides diversity and training opportunities. The bouldering section also offers a lot of diversity and socialized problem-solving during peak times.

I really like the laid back and friendly atmosphere.... but... overall Just seems like the owners are putting 0 money back into the business and just riding a wave of complacency. I don’t think I’d pay 50/month or 20/day to go to this gym1. the weight section is way to minimal and no space and old weights/rack2. They do not set the boulder problems to the top of the wall, they stop like 2/3 of the way up. What’s the deal with this?3. They really need to get a moonboard4. There is only 1, out dated hang board5. Lead area is a relic from the past.6. The boulder problems seems to be set for children or very small people in general

Great, I usually go use the bouldering wall weekdays at about 8 or 10 am. Although often a whole group of school kids will be dropped off and just run around the bouldering wall, screaming and climbing directly beneath you.

I started climbing here almost exactly a year ago and its been a great experience. The variation in routes and the route setting is excellent. Being able to use the auto belays is very convenient, especially if you climb often by yourself. You can get a full workout in here by traversing the gym, doing a bunch of autos, and bouldering. Staff is friendly and experienced, they always say hi and make it a welcoming/comfy atmosphere. Ive taken two classes with Andy and his instruction was on-point for both the lead class and the sport anchor class. Now that im in Bellingham I really do miss this gym and cant wait till im a regular again.
