My experience with Laura has been helpful, non-Judgemental, encouraging self confidence, personal self awareness, educational, and motivating through personal growth. Laura provides podcast information pertaining to how dyslexia and audio/visual dyslexia affects personal, and professional awareness, and an in-depth understanding for what both ADHD/ Dyslexia looks like by putting oneself in the daily activity of their thoughts, views from the perspective adaptation for over- stimulated brain activity regarding speed process, and intermittent attention for compartmentalizing details of over stimulated brain activity when changes occur that are out of sequence with systematic routines and patterns for the individual processing the change, new details for adaptation, emotional and physical intake for out of order and organizing new details of how these sudden changes cause a temporary shut down to the person regulating and organizing how to adapt during an over stimulating chain of events. Laura has also provided helpful behavioral testing and articals for verbal discussion for how to apply everything.For adapting to change and being more equipped with audio learning. Garbage service. The counselor I had told jokes half the time and talked about his home life the other half. Learned nothing new from here. Then they had the audacity to charge me $800 for the 12 week course require be the state. I refuse to pay for a place where they dont take their job seriously. Regardless they will hold certificate from you.

The counselor were seeing is wonderful! Attentive, caring, insightful, compassionate, engaging, inquisitive... Just all the things you hope a counselor will be!Giving them five stars because Who Cares about the quality of the office staff?! Its the abilities of the counselor that actually matter!The older woman at the desk was an insensitive jerk about our AFAB child... Used the incorrect pronouns and name multiple times, and when I snapped at her about it, she argued with me (!), then defended herself (!!!!!).They should give their office staff better training, specifically sensitivity training, but her incompetence doesnt reflect on the quality of the counseling were getting.

If they offer to provide services pro-bono dont believe them. They did this and are now sending us to collections hurting our credit. Also, dont expect them to know how to properly charge your insurance. They cant get that right either and will send you the bill for their mistakes.
