My neighbor brought home the coolest trackless train the other day. It was all wood and metal, there was room to sit side by side in the cars and it looked very authentic. He showed me the overalls and conductors hat he wears when he goes out to birthday parties, festivals and fairs. I saw videos and photos of the children and adults that were smiling and laughing as he took them out for a ride. The clanging of the bell and the whistle are pretty cool too ! Good luck neighbor ... people are going to love it!

I hired Robertson Railroad Train over two months in advance for my daughter’s birthday party. On the day of the party, Mr. Robertson showed up an hour late, completely ruining the entire agenda of the Birthday party. When I first spoke to him, he assured me he’d show up early to the event and that I’d be happy with his service. About 3 hours before his start time he texted me and said he was caught in traffic and would be at my event as close to the agreed time as possible. I am familiar where he claimed to be driving from and it does not take 3 hours of driving time, EVEN with traffic! When he finally showed up, the kids and adults were very excited and Mr. Robertson probably drove 3-4 groups of riders around and then the kids had enough. It made no sense in keeping Mr. Robertson just sitting in the train outside with no riders. Although, he was probably at my party less than an hour, he still charged me $350 (agreed price was $395)! And in his effort to try to explain why he was late, he told me “they” scheduled him with a back to back event so that’s why he was late to my party. It was my understanding from the first conversation with Mr. Robertson that he was the sole owner/employee of his business. So, unfortunately I did not believe anything he said any longer. This was a bad experience for me and I was very disappointed in his service. The only positive was that Mr. Robertson was polite (reason for one star) but, I think it was due to his feeling of guilt in ruining our day. I will never hire Robertson Railroad again...
