Great team of employees who are eager to help even when theres a line out the door. I got a 2017 KIA at a great price. It was spotless before I drove it off the lot. They offer the convenience of filling the tank when I brought it back at $2.35 a gallon! You cant beat that. I will definitely use them again.

Long story short, they were supposed to pick me up at Caliber Collision. Waited 30 minutes, but nobody came. Called and they said someone was on their way. Caliber collision saw I was there waiting 50 minutes so they just brought me here since they close in 15 minutes. Pretty sure they would have closed and left me there without a ride. Worst experience with a car rental service. Definitely wont be using HERTZ in the future.

Was there to pick up a car had reserved, and they didn’t close for about another half hour yet when I showed up to the door I had a man just stare at me try to open the door from inside. My guess was he was just waiting till the official closing of the store didn’t want to assist me I’m not sure, but was very rude. That’s the last time I’ll be going there

Management was horrible, customer service was horrible. As a peace officer, I got treated terrible. I was accused of smoking in the vehicle. The supposedly manager Damon was terrible. I was suppose to receive a discount through friends and family but they did kept honor. I had to go through corporate to be reimbursed for being falsely accused of smoking in the vehicle. They will never get my business again. As well as my fellow officers.

They should change their name to Hurts rent-a-car because they will hurt your vacation plans. I had a reservation and when I arrived they said no cars were available. Really? Whats the point of a reservation if a car is not guaranteed? I ended up using a rental app and for cheaper I got a better car. I will never use Hertz in Relands on Colton ave again. Horrible reservation policy.

I usually choose to give this location my business. However the last time I rented here I was misled with purchasing insurance for the rental. My wife setup the reservation of a mini van with the insurance. When I got there to pick up the car I reinterated that I wanted the insurance. Usually they tell me it was choosen upon the reservation. This time they did not and proceed to sell me on a different insurance package along with the one on the reservation. When I got home I realized I overpaid the amount my wife had reserved it for and I thought I would deal with it upon returning the vehicle. When I brought it to their attention the employee I was working with became defensive and said that I was wrong and that the rental reservation didnt include the insurance I showed him the paper and he denied it was from hertz. Saying besides we cant do anything after you returned the vehicle. I had to ask him to remain professional as he acted in a manner that was unethical. Going back and forth saying that I was wrong. He went as far as saying I was going to help you but you keep talking over me. I then said you told me you couldnt help me. Then he refused to give me his name, most likely because hes the one mentioned in most of this locations complaints. I will not be using this company anymore. Hopefully they figure out their customer service issues.

My vehicle was hit and Hertz handled everything perfectly. The great customer service provided by Abby, A+ in and out in no time. Nice selection of vehicles for most occasions. Will definitely go back if I need to rent a vehicle again.

I didnt have any issues w/ the car that I rented here and getting the car was initially not a problem. The issues came w/ returning the vehicle and I waited for an hour or so just to return the vehicle. Then I was told I would receive an Uber to the car repair place I used. The Uber was to have been paid by Hertz, but the Uber never came. I waited until they were about the close and then the manager had taken me and dropped me off at the car rental place. Renting cars is such a pain and I wish I could find a place that would make it easier and less of an ordeal. Im still looking...

They put me and my co traveler in a car with a 2 month old expired license plate registration. We had to exchange the car the next morning which delayed our trip departure. This Hertz location is very small and difficult to get in and out of. On the plus side the people at this location were very friendly and did their best to be accommodating.

I rent car for a monthwhen i return the car they make me wait for almost an hour then they want charge me 300 to do detaling for the carand i was only rent the car for my wife . she is ahouse wife so she was not using the car that much and park it in the garage.never back here again.they ruined my day all they care about to take more money from your pocket

Hertz redlands is the spot to rent the San Bernardino office not so I will never go to San Bernardino as a gold member and had a reservation I was turned away do to not having a car for me after all and they didnt any offer to look st other locations for me. The manager just finished threatening my daughter that corporate was going to tow her vehicle. When I asked him for a phone number to corporate he could not give me one. He called her this afternoon and there was no problem. Then tonight the world was coming to an end if my daughter was not there to sign a paper. Sounds fishy!

This place is absolutely horrible. I’ve had two different experiences there both times i had a reservation and waited hours. Customer service is horrible!! Even calling before going and making sure they have a car available they will still say you have to wait a couple of hours bc they are waiting for more cars. Or you wait a long time for them to “clean” the car which is a quick vacuum and literally they spray and spot clean the outside of the vehicle. There’s always tons of customers waiting hours to be helped. And most of the time the employees are doing nothing but fiddling with the computer and trying to look busy.

It was a last minute booking I made on a Friday around 6:00 through Orbit. I came in they tried to charge me an extra $20.00 I asked why... they gave me some reason that did not make any sense. They immediately took it off.Secondly, I was told that because I made a less than 24 hour booking I will have a “short” wait. It’s been 40 min and I am still waiting.This is rediculous. My reservation was for 9:30 it is 10:14.

I was worried because of the reviews, although I had no issues other than my car not being ready. They also didnt have the car I reserved online, but I ended up getting a better one anyway for my road trip. Overall, didnt have much of any issue, everything went relatively smooth. Would definitely rent again!

I dont understand why you make a reservation online and then when you go to get that car, they have nothing similar to that. The woman that helped us kept us waiting for nearly an hour which I wasnt happy about nor did she bother to say anything else to us. Instead I had to ask someone else, and thank you to Jason, he stepped up and helped us, he even upgraded us for free. I appreciate all his effort.

Will never ever go again. Chron the Front desk guy did not honor the online reservation. Pathetic customer service. Hertz need to provide better training to the staff. Go and Learn from Enterprise down the street how they treat customer and always packed with customers. HErtz May be little cheaper and their customer service is also very cheap. Never use Hertz Redlands location.

This is by far the worst rental place I have ever been to . It takes anywhere from an hour to three hours to get serviced. They were more focused on making a sale, they werent worried about integrity or the satisfaction of their customers. They manipulated my husband into buying insurance. They told him if he put a deposit down, that will be all they have to pay and they will get it back once the car is turned in. Then a few days later our account gets charged. We went to them on an insurance claim, we had full coverage insurance, so we didnt even need the insurance. At the end of the day we got charged 500+ dollars never again will we do business with them.

The worst experience! The lady customer rep doesnt want to listen to what you have to say and charged me extra amount. 3 weeks ago I made the same reservation and was charged $50 and today I was charged $60 for the same route as according to her the rates change everyday!Pathetic service despite being a gold rewards member! I wont recommend this center. I wish they improved the quality of their service. Enterprise is much better.

Returned the rental this morning. They said they have to charge $300.00 and take the car out of service for 24 hrs because it smells like cigarettes in it. It did not there were just some ashes on the drivers side. Drove by at 11am and the car was gone. Another customer said he would take it since they had nothing available, and he reserved a rental. I went and smelled the Caravan while the employee was cleaning it, and it didnt smell at all. I open 3 windows when I smoke in cars.Also your auto insurance will cover you so you dont need the additional insurance. Go with Enterprise.

This is the third time I’ve used hertz through insurance. They always drill me for the daily insurance even though my insurance covers whatever I drive which is always irritating and the lady seemed to get attitude once I refused. This last time I got a great car that was equivalent to mine but the last two times they put me in some tiny Kia which i wasn’t thrilled with.

When you make a booking, get their employee name and information. make them sign your rate in their blood because they will change it, they will give you a different car not even near the mpg they say they have on the site, they will jack you around on prices and they WILL LIE TO YOU to get your booking. Oh, and even though you made your booking 2 months in advanced, we wont have the car you want here. you are the cheapest and your customer service SHOWS it. In addition, the man I was on the phone with refused to give me the corporate number to clear up this mess.

Horrible experience. Manager named Damon Bryant gave horrible customer service and was not helpful. My husband confirmed rental weeks before Nd the confirmation was canceled and changed to a higher rate. After expressing concern he gave us a 800 number to call. In addition to this, up on drop off my husband and accused of smoking in the car. Damons exact words were You been smokin in my car, you know thats a $300 charge right?At this point, we called the 800 number given to Express our concerns and frustration and it was all taken care of.

Staff was nice but not only was I pulled over because the car had expired tags, but now I see I was charged $110.00 when it should have been $28. Was going to use them on a regular basis and set up our corporate account but the $4 or $5 I might have saved was not worth all this.I know mistakes happen and the tags were payed for they just were never put on the car. But now to be over charged. If anything I should have gotten the day free after being treated like a criminal when was pulled over.

Possibly the worst customer service I know of. And the problem is that its not always or ever the same representative. Management issue? Most likely.I rent cars many times a year. And very often renting from this location.What are the problems then?1- if you arrive at the specified time of the location? The car is not ready2- you rent a car in a defined category online, you come to pick it up, they dont have it3- and today was the best. As until now I have to wait (because the cars never ready on time) I decided I wouldnt wait, then I arrived 70mn after the time I put on the reservation. Well guess what? They gave the car to someone else.The representative didnt care a bit, she sat back in her chair looked at me and said they had no other car, I arrived too late! Not even a sorry.When I asked what my options were, I was told she didnt have any option.Took my cell and said she would call back if a car would come up.Considering my company employs hundreds of staff who travel all the time, rent car from this branch all the time I was shocked for this EXTREME LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

Ok so we just got back from renting a car. Go us! But, the sales people and the selection of vehicles could use some work. We rented a mazda 3, they didnt have one. Ok, thats fine I guess. What really turned me away from here was how the sales person (even though he was knowledgeable and somewhat polite) he was yelling in my face... Dude, Im less than 3 feet away from you! There was no need to tell or even talk half as loud as you were. Not everyone in the city block needed to know my information. So maybe Im have a rough morning or something but 3 stars for lack of selection and extremely loud staff. Sorry guy.....

I made the reservation online then called during the day to say I would be there about 6 pm. They said that would be fine. I arrived about 6, just like I had said. It was actually 6:15 pm. They were CLOSED. There was a gal there but she said she could do nothing.POINT 1) I was to have been on my way to Idaho. It was VERY important that I leave right then. Missing this REALLY put me in a crunch as people were waiting for me to arrive. Because of my schedule, this whole affair REALLY INFURIATED ME! You have NO IDEA the headache this caused.POINT 2) If they are that exact about closing and locking up, and someone says, I will be there about 6 pm, then they REALLY should have said something, like, Wow, you are really cutting it close. Just be aware that we close PROMPTLY at 6 pm. I could have arranged my schedule but I HAD NO IDEA that, based on what they said, my schedule would not be acceptable.POINT 3) I learned to NEVER go through this place again. Use Ontario airport. WAY BETTER!

If I could give this location a zero star I would. The lady(Patricia) who works up front is very rude and unprofessional. She ignored us several times when we first came in then acted like we were wasting her time and if we asked a question became frustrated. We were told our account was up to date when we dropped the car off and the balance would be covered by our insurance. Days later I noticed my account was charged with the balance without my approval to charge my card. When I called the manager(Damon) he was even more unprofessional telling me I dont even know why were are having this conversation your insurance didnt cover the charge he cut me off several times not allowing me to explain what happened. Our whole experience was horrible please save your time and money and go to another company.

Worst rental experience and LONG wait time.Not just myself but 2 other parties same experience TERRBILE.Payed a week in advanced only to arrive and our vehicle was not available (they rented it to someone else),Had to settle for a mini van which also was not read would have to return in 1 hour while it got an oil change,another gentleman arrives while we waited to find out his reservation was also USELESS they had no cars available unless he wanted a 2 seater cargo van.Why make reservations and chose vehicle type that will accomodate your needs if thats not what your gonna get when you arrive.Disappointed to say the least.First time and LAST time renting with HERTZ thought I could trust a BIG NAME in the industry.And the insirance option was OUTRAGEOUS online you can purchase for 9-13 dollars per day however after the card transaction is processed said insurance was not available buy in store in-store cheapest insurance e0 plus dollars a day.RIP OFF but when you have plans ans they stroke you til closing time you have no other option when your family is waiting to go on vacation.

Was very happy with the service here. I had a somewhat minor complaint that I first brought to corporate office. They were not helpful, and after going back to the Redlands Hertz, Tommy (manager in training) took care of it personally by talking to some of the higher ups.While one of the normal employees at Redlands Hertz first took my issue (but never resolved it), that could be because he didnt have the authority to do so. But when it was put directly on the managers plate, they acted on it. Will definitely recommend them/go back there again if necessary.

Insurance co. Rental upgrade and asked insurance to pay for it, approved they said Hertz had the change on file. Returned the car they wanted me to pay the extra. Called insurance company they straightened it out. So then I forgot my garage door opener in the car went back in the morning they were closed but I looked in the car and seen it on the visor. Called them when they opened and asked them to look, he said he took the car to get washed and it was not in there!! Asked to talk to the manager, her wont be in till Monday!! Save yourself a lot of trouble Dont waist your time going here.

Had a great experience with Redlands Hertz rent a car. They upgraded my car. I had rented from Atlas in Yucaipa originally and they stopped renting cars one month before my trip without notifying me! Bad!!!! However contacted Hertz and they set me up with Redlands Hertz. The location is small and parking is tight however the staff is so friendly and goes the extra mile for you. I will definitely rent from them again! Kudos to all the Hertz employees that I have interacted with!

Then the price changes by $38 a day because for some reason the lady behind the computer wasnt able to include the insurance even though she pulled out her phone to use the calculator on it and include it.
