First time using Perry’s Automotive. They repaired some damage on the front end due to an accident. They kept me informed throughout the process. There were not any surprises when they finished the job. The wonderful staff provided a detailed quote. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I believe I just found a new mechanic shop I will take all my future needs to. I appreciate the honest feel of Perry’s.

Our window stopped working and needed a new regulator and motor. Everywhere else we called told us it would take a week to get the part. Perrys took a day. They were competitively priced with other local mechanics, and they were very accommodating, professional, and friendly. What impressed me even more was the complimentary inspection that included pictures, and the report was texted to me. I now know what is next on the priority list, and it is helping me to plan my next service with them. Two thumbs up!

Perrys is a greatly priced, ethical, and friendly shop! They sent updates to my phone via text message and would call me before I could even read the text giving the same update. :) They also have a shuttle service to take you where you need to go after dropping off your vehicle!Took my car in to get a quote as the dealership was charging me $1000+. Perrys took care of it for under $500! I will be coming back to Perrys again and again!

So far I’ve been really happy with them. I’ve only had to go a handful of times. But usually pretty good about getting appointments. What I really like is that they take pictures of what needs to be done and gives a little over view on it. Like a little medical chart or something. Just makes you feel like you aren’t being ripped off. I’ll continue to go there for service needs

This was my first time using a mechanic EVER and from start to finish I experienced nothing but excellent professionalism. Extremely diligent and communicative staff. The quote I received for the work needed on my Nissan was fair and ended up being $700 below my allocated budget!! On top of staying true to their punctuality I was given a thorough report complete with additional recommendations on work that I should look into along with quotes for said work which I thought was very helpful. 10/10 experience I would recommend this established team to anyone

I had a long-standing rattle in the front of a newer vehicle -- Perry automotive Inc was able to determine what was not the cause and then performed research with the cars manufacturer and determined it was an issue with the way the manufacturer had designed the brakes. Perrys technician was able to determine two possible solutions and implemented the lower cost of the two. The price was only $65 after much research and process of elimination. Thank you Perrys!

I wouldnt recommend anyone who does their own work to bring their vehicle here...Me: What would you charge me to do an ac compressor clutch gap adjustment?Receptionist: We dont do quotes, we would also need to do a diagnostic to see exactly what the problem is.Me: I just told you what the problem is. Can you at least tell me what your labor costs are? I cant see how any seasoned mechanic could spend more than an hour on this.Receptionist: No, sorry.Not giving these guys my buisness because they were unwilling to be flexible and they insulted my intelligence.

A friend of mine and I had a breakdown north of Lake Shasta last summer driving one of his cars up to Washington from the Bay Area. Perrys stayed open late to enable us to get the car towed to them and then gave us a ride to a nearby hotel.Perrys have us great service, fair pricing and most important, honest feedback. Absolutely lovely people. Brought my older car here to be checked out. They treated my car very well as if it was their own and were very honest with me with the problems I thought I had. I brought it in for power steering leak but it was very minor and could wait to be fixed. They brought to my attention that my timing belt needs a change. I spoke to my grandma who gave me the car and said its been 8 years. Sounds about right. I finally found a mechanic I can trust. They are very understanding and helpful. Showed me old parts they took out of my car. They are the only place I will be taking my car now. They even sent me a thank you card in the mail for choosing them and offered us complementary sun shaders for my car. If you need a trustworthy mechanic, go to Perrys! I am so impressed with your shop! I recently brought my van in for an oil change and to repair what I thought was an oil leak. Turns out it was transmission fluid and the repair was covered under warranty since I had the transmission serviced about 6 months ago. Theyre professional and reliable.I often enjoy fixing my own vehicles, but when I run out of patience or something exceeds my knowledge, I get it to them.Ive also seen ambulances being serviced there frequently. If the ambulance companies send their vehicles there, Ill send mine for sure.

When my repair was complete I receive a full explanation of what was done and notified of future items I needed to look at to ensure total vehicle health. I first used Perrys a month ago when my car was shaking and making all kinds of noises. They diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it and fixed it professionally and properly. A few days ago, I had another issue that I brought it in for and they gave an estimate for $550. When the work was done, they told me it didnt take as long as they expected, so it was only $350. Honest company! In addition, they have a very sophisticated email/texting program where I receive all of my notifications and reports of my car. So glad Perrys was recommended to me!

I had the strangest personal questions while making a appointment. They asked for my license plate # over the phone and my home address. I question the gal I was talking with while making a appointment I have never heard of a auto shop Ask me this kind of information before being mandatory so they could run a check on the plate # strange my gut instinct said so I took my business across the streetThey laughed and said that’s really strange they had never heard of this before. Besides the personal strange questions the gal was very rude from the very beginning.

It is a grate shop just one thing for me was when i bought my car in to get work on i was told buy outhers that they can do paments of the work on my car so i can get back and fourth to work and when i asked a bout it i was told no thank i cant and now it is hard on me to get to and from work and i need my car for that but everything was fine and overall a great job.

Everyone at Perrys was very kind and respectful. They didnt talk down to me like other places Ive been just because Im a woman. They explained everything they did so that I could understand it. I didnt feel pressured into getting hundreds of dollars in repairs. They gave me the facts and let me choose if I wanted the work done then or not. The pricing was very reasonable and the work was done right the first time. I will be going back to Perrys in the future. Im pretty picky about customer service and they had EXCELLENT customer service.

I recently bought my first diesel pickup and I was referred to Perrys Auto by another shop in town as being the best at working on the 6.5 L turbo diesel engines which my 95 Silverado has. Not only did the mechanics at Perrys do a great job and I can truly call them experts on the 6.5s but what also made my experience great was the customer service. I called in advance to schedule a day to drop off my truck, and when I dropped it off they got to work on it that day. And they called me frequently with an update on how things are going. I cant say how many mechanics Ive been to that dont keep the customer informed on how things are going and take forever even after I scheduled a day to drop off my vehicle. Perrys had my truck fixed in a reasonable time even with having to order parts and kept me informed of the progress. I am very happy with their work and I will be a regular customer.

I had a Honda Ridgeline inspected that we were interested in purchasing. Perrys was very thorough with the inspection and provided us with a 4 page list of what they checked and found. We get all of our vehicles serviced at Perrys Automotive, as does a lot of my family members. The customer service is OUTSTANDING, and the QUALITY of work is second to none. Thanks again Perrys!!!

Weve used Perrys before and had satisfactory results. This time was a completely different experience. We had a rough week. Our truck broke down and was dropped off at Perrys Sunday afternoon and picked up Tuesday. Charges seemed high but we paid and moved on. Our car was having issues and was left Tuesday when we picked up truck and worked in with assurance they had time for it. Wednesday after work called them and they hadnt time, but assured us they would Thursday am. Dropped by after work Thursday to check on it and no one had even looked at it. Communication would have helped... We ended up bringing it home and will be taking it to someone else.

Finally found an honest shop who didnt take advantage of a woman, thinking they could sell more things wrong with my car. In fact I thought my transmission was bad and they told me it wasnt. My car runs better then it ever has. Nissan cost me tons of money and let me drive off to have my car break down the next day. If it doesnt show a code, Nissan doesnt know how to fix it. Perrys has real mechanics, not part changers. Even picked me up in my car so I could show him the noise I was hearing cuz I was convinced it was fr transmission. Perrys was right, it wasnt my transmission, it was my front wheel barings. Finally found a good, professional, honest mechanic shop. Im so happy to have a fantastic auto shop in Redding Ca. Trust me, theyre the best in town.

Easy to find was what I ment

Called the shop letting them know I had my car being towed to their location. They stayed an open for an extra hour to wait for my arrival and when we arrived, they diagnosed the problem and fixed us up and got us on our way. Best experience and customer service I have ever had at an auto shop. This should be your first stop!

I recently went to bring my car in here.. My car was apparently examined and completely diagnosed wrong. They basically tried to buy my car off of me telling me that the repairs for my vehicle were thousands of dollars. I ended up having my vehicle examined by another mechanic and the issue with my car was only 200.00$. They auto shop even changed me a 45$ fee to examine my car. The mechanic that did the right job told me that the car wasnt even looked at and if they HAD examined the car properly, the problem would have been seen. I called Perrys back the next day and they were so rude with customer service. All in all, they lied, stole my money and tried to scam me to buy my car for super cheap. HORRIBLE service. I was basically robbed. DO NOT GO HERE. I bed you. Their very untrustworthy.
