Gas aliitle to high and no senecas smokes but very convenient on the blvd

Maybe 20 or 30 minutes to smog my car & print up the results. I never knew it could be done that quickly. And considerably less expensive than the ones Ive done in the past. Super nice man runs the place, too. 🙂

Had my car repaired there had to go back multiple times. They didnt do it right and then tried to clearing the code and lied at this point Im about to demand a refund!! Super frustrating and time consuming.

Got my diesel truck smogged here. Quick and easy.

They dont have too many of these places in Cali they pump ur gas check ur tire pressure and oil if want!!

When I had my previous car I would stop there and have them pump my gas for me because I dont have the hands for it.. it was a treat for me because I would only go once in a while.. then my world changed as my my husband passed away and then I went a little more often...then again my world changed and due to something that I had no control over my son and I ended up on the street and I lost my car...home and belongings.My brother recently gave me a car that is falling apart...but still runs..Today I went to Jindras because my car was running hot and I didnt have anyone to help me check the water or tire pressure...After we let it cool down Rick ( I think is his name) came and checked the water..and it needed quite a lot...I know this is a long post but I wanted to say thank you to them for helping me and God bless you for the things you do.Hopefully my car will last longer so I can continue to go to Jindras when I can afford it...Sincerely, Dawna Parkyn

Have been using these guys since 2007 to smog all my vehicle. They are amazing, they dont try to rip you off. Especially being a female they have never tried to take advantage.

I stopped by last night 5/21/20 to get gas. I was listening to the end of a song that I loved before getting out to get ⛽️ gas. Suddenly, a beautiful smiling face greeted me and asked if I wanted my gas pumped? I about fell out! What?! Of course! Ashley not only only pumped my gas & did a beautiful job cleaning my windshields, she did it with a smile and the most amazing attitude. Walking into the lobby is like stepping back in time. It has a real retro 80s feel and excellent customer service. I get my truck smogged there every other year. They are quick and hassle free. Best part is going next door to the antique store while you wait.

Not having my dad here to give me advice on repairs, I was so worried that I wouldnt be able to find a good mechanic at an affordable price who I could trust, but Im so thankful that I found Jindras. Been going to them for 7 years now and have tested out some other mechanics (only when Jindras wasnt able to get my car in right away and I was impatient - this isnt a common occurrence though, theyre usually able to get me in on the same day) and Ive regretted going to another mechanic each time. Would have been well worth the wait to stick with Jindras. Rick is the only mechanic in town that I trust and hes never tried to scam me into paying more than I should, or tell me a part is broken that isnt. Only con is that I wish Jeff was still there! Hed give me a ton of extra advice, just like my dad would, and I always appreciated that. But Rick and his current team are also awesome!In a nutshell, this is the most honest, reliable, fast auto shop Ive been to and Id highly recommend it to anyone.

7/30/17 update: I had previously given this business a 5-star review, but I no longer recommend or use this auto shop and gas station after seeing the sign they posed that reads dear transients dont get too comfortable this town is not for you. It says a lot when a local business publicly shames people who have less privilege, fewer resources, and greater challenges than the business owner does.I shop local to support local people, but these are the things that tear communities apart rather than bring them together.I encourage others to shop elsewhere and buy from folks who work to support the people in their communities, rather than push them aside. This sign shows a real lack of critical thinking and real understanding of the issues that lead to homelessness.

After reading reviews around Redding for smog check stations, I chose Jindras. Everything went smoothly and everyone was great to work with. Ashley, Jeff, and Rick had happy and healthy personalities. I made an appointment and showed up early to get any paperwork started. In and Out. Got the $5 discount by bringing in a printout of the coupon from their site. They provided lots of info on the site, and included pricing, which most places I checked did not.This is where I will be going in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised. The place isnt fancy but you can schedule an appointment via email or text. I picked the day and time which they quickly confirmed via text (which is my preference). They completed my smog check and sent the results to the DMV immediately. I was out the door in about 20 minutes.

Honest shop that doesnt try to cheat you on smogs or smog repairs. After testing one failing issue, they stopped and only charged me for that test instead of completing the full smog unnecessarily. Thats an honesty and efficiency I havent found many places.

I really like this station because they are really helpful and the only full service station in town that I know of and since I am disabled its the only way I can get gas. So I really appreciate that.

I was told the repair was done twice. It wasnt. However, I didnt discover that until I showed up to pick it up. When it was done, I noticed a forgotten tool and grainy bits of some kind of foam on my passenger seat. I let the mechanic know and gave him the tool. The next day I noticed that my dashboard no longer lit up, though it had BEFORE the other repair. It was so rough interacting with Jindras, I opted not to to call them to remedy the issue immediately. Unfortunately, that led to a later $115 to check it out elsewhere while having other repairs done.I will now make a point to recommend that people NOT go to Jindras. I dont want others to experience what I did, both in poor workmanship AND poor customer service.

I got a smog inspection done here. My volvo failed the first inspection because I had a broken sensor - which Jindras let me know about. They then recommended me to a close by Volvo repair shop - to which I got it fixed the next day. I went back to Jindras to re-check my smog inspection and it passed! I handled all of this through Jeff and he was great and very friendly. I would recommend anyone to go here for the smog inspection - it was quick (both times) and they are very helpful!

Too bad this business didnt come up on the first page of my Google search. Well, their website did but not as a smog check station, but as a smog tip page. I learned a lot about the smog check process before I even headed out of the door. AND best of all, their prices are posted on their website!! I wish every business took the time to make a nice website like this place.

Got my car smogged with no issues. It is a 97 so I wasnt sure it was going to pass with no problem. They had 5 other cars, and still had me out of there under an hour. Prechecked before even writing me up for service. Much appreciated. I have been to smog places that will make you wait for half an hour to an hour before even letting you know that the systems arent all up due to a recent battery disconnect.I would recommend this place to anyone needing smog. Its actually cheaper than a lot of places, too. I havent had experience with them aside from smog, but would definitely go back to them.

I highly recommend this place . On my way from Seattle to Los Angeles I got a check engine light on the dashboard of my minivan . I kind of panicked thinking about how bad the problem would be and the cost for fixing it . After looking around I decided to visit Jindras auto service. The person in front desk was very polite, after a few minutes they read the trouble code and found that it was just needed to reset it . They charged me nothing, nada, no charge . After 10 minutes I was ready to get back to the freeway. Very trustworthy people, thank you Jindras auto service !

Jindras is an automachanic I can trust. Not only do I get twice the rewards points on my credit card, being they are labeled as a gas station but the mechanics at Jindras do a good job. One askpect that I really like is that the mechanics explain to me what is broken or how to self diagnose and how to fix the needed problme. This has allowed me to decide whether to do the work myself or bring the my vehicle in for repair. Every time Jindras has worked me in and treated me with honesty and quality work. Not only this but their Smog service is great and cheaper than the competition.

BEST PLACE to get your car smogged!!!Ive gotten two different cars smogged here, and both passed. Wonderful service. Great, friendly people. They really want you to have a great experience and get your moneys worth.I had originally gotten one of those cars smogged at a different place in Redding, and it didnt pass for an extremely dumb reason. So I got that thing fixed and looked for another place, because the first place was lame. Jindras was highly recommended so I tried it, and was not disappointed!About a year later (a couple weeks ago) I got my current car smogged at Jindras with the pre-test (100% WORTH IT) and when it was finished the guy explained, So, we ran the pre-test and saw that it wouldnt pass just because of this little hose that was broken... so I fixed if for you for $5, as you can see on this receipt... and you passed! Woohoo!It felt like they wanted me to pass, and they did everything possible to make that happen. Wow!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

Went for truck overheating. One problem jumped to three. Try to say we needed a three hundred dollar part then said we didnt and charged an extra 320.00 in labor for removing one bolt. SCAM ARTISTS. Do NOT go there.
