From the first moment of setting up service to the actual pickups, I always get treated as if I was a vip. The office staff was very warm and welcoming.I was amazed at how simple it was to start service. Then the driver waved and smiled as they picked up my trash. Its the little things being done that make this company a joy to work with.

You could always tell when garbage day was from the hydraulic fluid trails trash can s laying on sidewalks and litter on the streets that didnt make it in their poorly maintained ugly beat up trucks

The representative helped me to figure out what size dumpster I needed. She was very upfront about the possibility of additional charges for appliances. I like that ..tell me in advance I do not like surprises on my bill. She was professional and courteous . Great service!

I feel sorry for the community as a whole. The street personnel try their best, but the management for this monopoly is almost criminal. No formal contracts. Buddy System rate structure... and really no clear definition of a rate structure and/or policies. Added to the fact that this outfit has secured their grip over 100% of Tehama County, leaves consumers with no other options for waste/garbage service.I would hope the people of Tehama County would band together and find another, more economical and trustworthy company. Attend County Planning meetings, write your news paper, start the fight... and lets get this company removed from our service area.But we all know, and Green Waste knows... no ones going to do that... were all going to just continue to take the abuse this company imposes on its customers. Its an absolute shame.

Staff is very helpful and professional

First time for me writing a negative review before purchasing service. Its simple, Im not home much but just moved into a house so I need waste service. Went online and asked for a quote on the feature they have. Gave them my name number and email address. Over 3 days later and no reply. Why have that option on your website if you dont respond or at least check for new customers. Guess I have to make time to go to the office to deal with it. Now I know why it has a 2.5 star rating

This is the county garbage collection recycling center, its not for consumer recycling. You enter through the front door and thats were you conduct commercial level recycling. Be prepared to be patient if you visit as phones take priority of walk-ins.

Wish we didnt have such a lazy trashman all he ever does is complain an lie to his boss. Pretty sure he makes decent money. Just do your job we pay you after all. The county should just take it back.

They leave behind at least one full can of yard debris or recycling nearly every week and I have to call, two or more times, to get it picked up. The customer service women are rude and condescending. They actually called me to say that the driver told them my cans werent out in the morning....BS, my cans are ALWAYS out the night before. Why cant they just pick EVERYTHING up like they are supposed to????? I wish there was another pickup service, I am so sick of having to call them every week! Ugh

Very bad service. Have problems getting my recycling bin pick up for 3 months. This is not the first time. I was told the first time in 2015 that they didn’t pick up my bins because my address wasn’t on it. After that everything went well until May 2018.My recycling bin are not being pick up and I called the office and was told that they will come back and pick up my recycling bins at the end of the day and to leave it out. The bin were left out for 2 days, still no pick up. Call them back and was told to wait 2 more weeks because recycling bins are picked up bil weekly. Waited 2 more weeks and still no pick up. I didn’t have the time to call them up that week. They have to understand that we have a life too and we don’t have that time to call them every time. Another 2 weeks came by 8/17/18 still no pick up. We called them back and was told the same thing, to leave the bin out and they will come back which they didn’t. If I have the choice, I will go elsewhere. It sucks that I’m stuck with them because I’m renting and the service is being paid by my manager. .

I started this service 2 weeks ago, have had to call 5 DIFFERENT TIMES because they first forgot to set up my service, though they already charged me, then forgot to deliver my bin, next forgetting to deliver the recycle and yard waste with the bin. Then finally on the next Tuesday: my scheduled day of service the trash man dropped off my recycle and yard bin AND DID NOT TAKE THE ACTUAL TRASH CAN AND DUMP IT. It was out the night before, 5 ft from cars as green waste demands and he still didn’t take it leading to my 5th call where Cathy told me I would be on the list for service the next day and not at all to my surprise THEY DID NOT COME PICK IT UP THE FOLLOWING DAY. I AM ACTUALLY GOING TO HAVE TO CALL A 6th TIME BECAUSE THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF DOING THEIR JOBS THAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR 2 WEEKS AGO. I am beyond disgusted with you green waste. PATHETIC! If the rest of us did our jobs like this we would be fired. You should be as well.

Our garbage man is awesome he gets a very good rating from me he is friendly and caring

This company is horrible! They a predatory and will charge you for overage and other things which are not true. Calling them out about it is met with more disdain than honesty.

I think its ridiculous how early you guys start. 6 in the morning is to early to have to hear a garbage truck.

Raise your bill giving you services without warning that you cannot opt out of
