I went in yesterday to turn in my old alternator for the surcharge, and decided to change the battery in my Moms key fob. the clerks did so and now the key fob doesnt work at all... which unfortunately is the only way to get into the car. Have to use the key fob to unlock it because somebody tried to break in, but stoled the handle on the driver side. This is where the key would normally enter and open the door for you. Really not happy!

Today I received excellent customer service at the Red Buff Ca store. Extremely helpful staff, I. Bought just a couple of blinker bulbs, Mr. Rodrigues actually replaced the bulbs for me in minutes! Everyone was so nice and very friendly! Thank you!

Recently I stopped into the autozone in Redding, my alternator had gone bad, the salesman told me to go to Jiffylube and that they would install it for me, I asked him if I could buy the alternator and have them install it, he said no.I went there and they did install a new alternator, at a cost of $352.00. I later found out that the alternator was only $162.00. Jiffylube made $90.00 on the part and $100.00 to install it. I feel like the employee at autozone mislead me which cost Me an extra $90.00. Times are hard enough without being prayed upon by greedy people. Im not complaining about the install fee, but rather the misinformation I was given by the autozone employee, and the greed of Jiffylube to almost double the cost of the part.

Manager refused to honor a 3ry warranty that was less than 1yr old. They even found the error on their computer and the date code on the item proved it was less than 1yr old. He didn’t care and preferred to force me into a purchase to replace their failed part. Very disappointing and will not be going back....

Staff is quite knowledgeable. Each time I visit, they are able to answer my questions thoroughly. The staff has even gone above their duties to help meet my needs. Awesome people to do business with.

I ordered and paid for two CV boots on the 25th and the guy told me it would be in tomorrow between 2:30 and 4:00. I was unable to get back to the store the next day, I live in another town, so I called two days after I ordered them and they said it was not in, it would be tomorrow between 3:00 and 5:00. Called the next day and it was not in. I asked if he, the manager and his name is Juan, could find out when they would be in and not the same answer of tomorrow between whatever. He called Fedex and they told him today at the end of the day. We had other things to do in town so when we were done we stopped by to see if they were in. My wife would not let me go in to check so she went in. First guy said Fedex did not stop by yet, other guy said yes it did, its tight there. First guy started opening boxes and found them and then tried to say that he called us to say it was here, well if he thought that Fedex did not stop by yet, why would he be calling? If they would have said it would be here in 6 days, I would have been ok and planed on picking it up in 6 days. This BS of tomorrow between 3 and 5 is just a bunch of lies! Luckily they are not the only parts store in the area.

The staff were great, they fixed my problem after researching what wiper blades I needed and then even installed them for me. They exchanged the blades I had purchased at a different auto zone with no hesitation. I will continue to use the red bluff autozone for all my auto needs. Thank you staff.

Autozone is always a great place to go for auto parts. The staff is makes you feel welcome, and they always have what i need, (except today). However in the spirit of taking care of their customers they refered me across the street where they had what I needed.

The employees did not wear any face coverings and we are in a pandemic with sky rocketing rates of Covid-19. Not only is it a California mandate to wear face coverings it is also respectful to other human beings trying to stay well.

This has been my go-to store for auto parts for quite some time. For example, when I was recently thoroughly confused about identifying the exact part I needed out of several possibilities, the competent staff helped me determine what was what, which was which, etc., and had my part for me the next day. I was going to only rate four stars because a couple of times I have had to wait in line for a bit, but geez, it was it because they were making sure the people in front of me were getting the correct part.

There was a very helpful older gentleman that helped me with a battery connector problem and rear brakelight. He was very knowledgeable, gracious with his time and kind. This kind of great service not that plentiful these days.

Visited just today. Great staff but the TCM for my car was not orderable. You would think a Mazda part as well with the age of computers. At the very least available to order. I bought all my parts for my other vehicles there and had no problems. Parts I had ordered came in on time as well as call to inform they had arrived.

Ultimately i ended up with the parts that i needed but the entire time i was at the counter one employee was sitting on a stool complaining about how he doesnt get enough hours and how he normally just does a no call no show and complaining about the management and on and on and on.the entire time the guy who was helping me is just chuckling and his tag said he was a sift manager or assistant manager or something.the parts and prices are fine but the employees make this place my last stop in town for auto parts.

I havent a disparaging remark about Red Bluff AUTOZONE. Staff is helpful, knowledgeable while at the same time theyre attentive, without being pushy. If an issue does arise the resolution is fast and curtious. That makes for a pleasant shopping experience, wherever you go, IMO.

Went in looking for a replacement for a burned out headlight. Had the bulb in my hand but did not see the same bulb in the package the guide referred as my type. So we asked the employee behind the counter. He came out, found the same bulb id # in tje guide book as we did and said they must have changed it because it was not a match. Reluctantly I went across rhe street to OReillys Auto. Asked for help finding the right bulb. When the guy showed us, we pointed out the part plugging into the car was different. Then he explained yhe end had part of what the bulb plugs into. Surprise, it fit! Seems to me Auto Zone, you should know this! Or at least ask your co-worker.The bulb waa almost $10 higher at OReillys BUT they price matched!Sucks for you A.Z.

The worst parts house Ive ever seen! They do have the lowest price on the few things they carry; but if you want more than oil, floor mats or a fuse you wont find it in the Sorry Zone.
