Jason lead us to the best and biggest Fish of my husbands life. A beautiful Salmon. He did that with 31 boats on the river and our boat was 1 of only 3 to catch. We are looking forward to tight lines again.

Not only does he provide the boat, tackle and knowledge of the local rivers, he also is a mean cook!Jason’s boat and equipment is top notch. I have been out with him multiple times and caught tons of fish from Salmon to trophy sized rainbow trout both times! I booked a trip with Jason and it was one of the best salmon trips that Ive had in years my wife had never caught a salmon and she landed two beautiful salmon in fact all five of us limited out. totally an entertaining trip from the first second to the last. hes an all exclusive guide. Ive fished twice with River Pursuit Guide Service. Both times were with my wife whos a novice fly fisher at best. Each trip was an awesome day on the water. Catching fish is great but the whole experience was what we were after. Just drifting the river, checking out the sites, awesome shore lunch and local knowledge made the trip. We have our own boat too but nothing beats the experience of a local guide whos on the water regularly. Our guide Jason was very professional with a top notch boat and gear. I highly recommend booking a trip even if youre a DIYer.

I’ve had multiple experiences now with river pursuit guide service. Trout and salmon fishing in red Bluff area And striped bass out of Colusa. I must say no matter what river we put in at as soon as you step on the boat you feel like one of the locals. If you pay attention to the captain as he runs the rapids and Eddie’s of the river he’s constantly looking around reading and learning secrets of the river. I’ve come to realize you go with a guide because it takes an endless amount of days to truly learn the water and the fish habits to attain great success on a regular basis.We have been successful to some extent on all of my trips. But truly the best part is that the river feels like a whole different world. I’ve seen World War II planes with big old tires swooping down and touching the water, Bald Eagles scoop fish and witness almost surreal Land Scape, it always takes me back to a simpler time.Do yourself a favor and take in this experience While it’s still around. My husband took his novice fly fishing wife with Jason for our anniversary. I had a blast and even managed to catch some fish.
