Over the phone and in person, the lady (forgot her name), was just amazing. She was willing to help, took my car, had the mechanic look at it, answered all my Qs, and the price was very reasonable. Very helpful and honest.

They were great called for appointment to get car smogged and got an appointment the next day. I was in & out in 30 minutes maybe less. They did a fantastic job. Will be going back in for next smog. 😊

I can’t say enough good things about this place, from the front desk service to the mechanics getting everything done quickly. I’ve used this place for two of my vehicles, they’ve always been honest and upfront in costs and fees and they’ve let me know if they can’t do something. These folks saved our butts when our car broke down just outside of Red Bluff. They got us in the same day for diagnostics and had us up and running within 24 hours. Excellent repairs at very fair prices.

They failed my Smog test and said that my ignition timing was “non-adjustable”. I made no repair at all and took it straight to Smog Man down here in Red Bluff, Ca and passed with flying colors because they actually know what they are doing there. Once I confronted the technician who did my smog and told him he didn’t do it right, he told me I was wrong, and that my passed smog test was fake. Once I asked for a refund I was told to go to the CA BAR, which I have done and filled a complaint about their poor service and untrained technician. I have a 1992 Ford truck which is an OBD 1 vehicle which requires further emissions testing unlike new vehicles.Overall this shop is terrible, only good thing about this shop is the receptionist, she was nice. Other than that, I would recommend that if you have an older vehicle, you should take your emissions tests elsewhere since they don’t know what they are doing here.

This place was one of the most helpful and understanding places I have dealt with. I took my old truck in to get a smog certificate and it did not pass. I could not pay to have them do all the things required to have it pass and Dean helped me get it done as cheap as I could. He let me know what parts needed to be replaced and then would retest at no cost, which he did not have to do. He would then tell me what to replace next and again would test it. Everyone at the shop was very pleasant to deal with through the whole process. I think the truck was in their shop a total of 5 times and they were always nice. After a bit of work it finally passed. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle here for smog.

Have used them several times over the years, and have been pleased overall with the experience.Pros:- They are good communicators. Will contact up front before repairs / additional work will be done.- Friendly and professional- Honest. Have never felt they recommended work that was unnecessary, and dont try to take advantage of the customer.- Reasonable prices. I feel the work is quality but less expensive than other shops Ive used, definitely more affordable than a dealer.Cons:- Not the most convenient hours. They changed from closing at 5 a few years ago to closing at 4. Just recently, they said they closed at 3:30. Not exactly work friendly, and there are no hours posted anywhere on site that I could find.Overall, I would recommend.

Bought a car they were selling shady like under an employees name, all 4 tires had major damage to the inner sidewalls and they sold it illegal and shady like with out regard for human safety, these people don’t care if another human dies in a wreck for a few bucks, do you really think they will do good work on your car?

Had nothing but issues with this shop. Called once and they didnt understand what part I needed replaced l, called the second time after double checking that I was talking about the right part, still didnt understand. Ended up buying the part myself and coming in to see if they could do the work and they couldnt. Poor customer service as well.

We are Paradise/Magalia Camp Fire evacuees and had been in Red Bluff just a few days when the fuel pump went out on our Tahoe. We called this shop and they got us in and out in the same day at a very reasonable price. Cant thank this couple enough for their quick turn around! Very grateful to the Red Bluff businesses and residents for their generosity to all of the fire evacuees.

Had a terrible experience with Red Bluff Dodge before coming here. The professional mechanics were able to identify the problem and fixed it almost at the same price Red Bluff Dodge charged me for not finding or fixing it. All the staff was very helpful and were enjoyable to be around. I will never go anywhere else and would recommend this business 100%.

These guys know their stuff. Frankly, theyre a bit rough around the edges, but theyre good mechanics. They do a good job of communicating up front and theyll do you right. Ive never felt pressured with their recommendations, but they will tell it like it is. They are good at recognizing priorities and and meeting timelines. I recommend them to everyone in the Red Bluff area. I do all basic and intermediate work on my own cars and can attest to their professional honesty.
