I have been looking for a holistic dentist for some time but I had emergency extraction needed ASAP and everyone was turning me away or they were too too far or would having me on waiting list to December. The Center for Holistic Dental were amazing. I am very pleased and great work! The very sweet receptionist scheduled me right in because they had a opening I took it! Very clean rooms! Love the seashells all over made me feel at ease. I was very nervous because I was in pain and needed understanding and kindness during my visit. Great work Dr Glenn MacFarlane! I didn’t feel a thing! Thank you staff especially letting me take a nap I had long drive home! But was worth it. I am so impressed with the care I am receiving at The Center of Holistic Dentistry! I need a lot of work done on my teeth and was looking for a dentist I felt truly comfortable with. I travel all the way from Central Upstate NY to see them. The office is clean, stylish, they use state of the art technology, the staff is so kind and Dr MacFarlane’s bedside manner is amazing! I’ve been seeing Dr. MacFarlane for about 10 years after being kicked out of 2 other dentist offices for having anxiety. I literally called him crying from a parking lot and he told me to come on in. He sat with me in the waiting room and talked to me until I was comfortable enough to go into the exam room. I will never go anywhere else. Also, the office doesn’t smell like a dentist office (which I always hated in the past) and he has the newest technologies so impressions and other things that have caused me severe dental trauma in the past are no longer a fear.

Wow the team and Dr. Macfarlane were amazing. I love their approach and their views on dentistry as a whole. They are super educational and innovative. I was able to bring my infant daughter with me and they went above and beyond helping me and her while I was there. They were so accommodating and a truly amazing staff. NOT REALLY HOLISTIC. Dentist does not offer info about holistic practices when asked what holistic dentistry entails. In his own words, I was really a cosmetic dentist, and bc the materials used for cosmetic dentistry are really the same as what a holistic dentist would use, I decided it was time to call ourselves holistic. Not IAOMT certified to remove mercury safely. Not confident that all materials used are fully bio-compatible. Office disorganized at times, depending on staff - appointments missed, dental plan doesnt seem to be updated regularly. Each time I came in it was like I had to tell them what they were supposed to be working on that day. They almost prepped the wrong tooth for a crown on one instance. Dentist speaks to much of his staff in a short and dismissive manner. Does not have a light touch when working on patients. Will repeatedly rest the weight of his whole hand on your protective glasses for leverage, smashing them into your face. Will leave light shining in your eyes and leave the room. Will yell to staff in other rooms to bring him materials.

Dr. Glenn makes you feel completely comfortable with everything he does.Answers all questions honestly, completely trust this guy.

It’s hard to sum up of our experience at the Center for Holistic Dentistry .Let mestart at the beginning . The timely care that I was given from my very first phone call Elena was extremely helpful and scheduled my son into see Dr Macfarlane right away . She also knew everything about the procedures and explained to us everything Every step of the way.. Since this was an emergency she made sure that communication with Dr MacFarlane was immediate since this was a serious issue .Thank goodness she did my son had a serious problem that needed immediate attention. The office takes 110% Covid safety measures so from the very beginning of entering it is an excellent experience .Dr Macfarlane and his practice give you the upmost courtesy,, care, and attention. Terrible ~ the office demands payment up front and never submitted my insurance claim. They told me they were in network and after numerous calls to my insurance company on my own found out they were not ! I had to go through so much time to find out I was told the wrong info when they told me false information. I would have never went but they got me in and got their payment and I am the one holding the bill now. Shady
