Staff is very nice but, i feel like they only communicate with you when you pressure them or when you stop paying for their credit monitoring partner. Alia was the girl handling my account and i only hear from her once every every few weeks or so with no significant updates. They use identity IQ to monitor your credit which should cost $6.99 a month but they charge you around 28$. They did share a few ways to lower my debt to income ratio which was probably the only significant update that could actually help me in my situation. I love the fact that they want to help people fix their credit but execution could be a potential growth area.

I started with a 450-500 score. Now I’m almost at the 700s. Yes, it takes a while to see results, but you have to trust the process and the team! My accountant manager, Ali, has definitely done a great job! I couldn’t have done it without them. They’re the real mvps on fixing credit. I will definitely recommend them with anyone!

Ali, Jose and Alex are phenomenal. If you are looking for a credit repair company that is results driven and able to address all your credit needs.... they are your “go to” team. They made me feel like “they 💯% had my back”. As my account manager, Ali was attentive and responsive to all my needs. Their disputes on my behalf and Jose’s mentorship elevated my credit score from the 600s to the 800s. This surpassed all my expectations. Hiring Got Credit was one of the best decisions I have made. I only wish I had found and hired them sooner. I wish I could give them bonus stars. I have referred several friends to them and we are all happy.I found Got Credit on a google search and decided to contact them because they were local and they only charged for deletions. Since I was not familiar with the company, I figured that could visit their office to ensure that they were legit. Turns out they are an online company. However, I felt comfortable and safe after several conversations with Alex. Also the fact that they are closely affiliated with an identity and credit monitoring company was a bonus. Most importantly..I LOVED the fact that they only charge for deletions and there is a maximum monthly fee. That means, if they clear everything within a month, you don’t have to worry about an surprise large bill. I also figured that since they only charge for deletions, they only get paid for what they do. So, they are more likely to try to clear as much as possible quickly. This differentiated them from other companies that charged a monthly fee. I felt that companies with monthly fees may slow drag the process in order to get more money over a longer period of time. I wanted my credit clean like yesterday😁. So, I hired Got Credit.Ali is my account manager and she is awesome. She took ownership of my account; provided realistic expectations; suggested resolutions and always followed through with the next steps in a timely manner. When there were situations that needed Jose’s attention, she immediately elevated it to him and he responded either directly to me, Ali and/or both. That’s good customer service. Ali also goes above and beyond...even referring me to an attorney who for no charge dealt with a problem with a collection company.Like I said in my opening paragraph.... hiring Got Credit was one of the best decisions I have made and I would give them bonus stars if that was possible. Since I cannot give bonus stars... I wrote this book😂 Thank you

I went to Jose not long after filling chapter 13. At the time my credit score was in the high 400s low 500s depending on the report. Jose and his team were able to remove most of the negative off of my credit and today I have a 721 credit score. I was able to refinance my car that had a 21% interest rate, down to a 3.25% saving me over $300 a month.

I am finalizing round 4 and my credit went from like a 515 to a 716...and I still have to do a couple of things they suggested. I AM MORE THAN SATISFIED with this company! Though the staff was extremely nice; I still didn’t feel like I was guided in the process, Meaning I wanted to be educated and be able to work with the person who was helping my credit. I never heard from them just would receive an invoice saying something was disputed. No updates on my credit from the person helping me to dispute. Overall I don’t feel like it worked for me, much rather someone who was more hands on and followed up with me not daily but from time to time. I canceled my membership, I have to pay what I agreed on the contract which is fine! They do installments. But I’m a little annoyed because I don’t even know if stuff was removed or didn’t get an explanation or a call regarding my credit and where it started and how its progressed and why?... Thanks for the service.

That being said, I am only writing this constructive review because I feel its necessary to drive the message home to Jose on how UNPROFESSIONAL I perceived him to be during this business agreement.I originally contacted Jose to use his services for a deletion of a Dept. store reporting me 30 days late on 2 bureaus. I had disputed the third bureau myself in 1 round and got a deletion, so the other 2 remained. Due to my work/travel schedule I did not have the time to continue to write letters to other bureaus, so I decided to employ his SERVICE. Follow me so far right?After each round, I would get emails from Ali (Account Manager) on the progress but I never received a single letter from a single bureau, even rejecting my dispute, which I found odd after 3 months. They always write back. When I emailed Ali (account manager), her response was Because of Covid bureaus are not responding or sending letters to consumers as frequent as they did. Ok, but after 3 rounds not hear from a SINGLE bureau even rejecting my disputes? was just odd to me. My experience has shown me otherwise. But I am not the expert here so I patiently waited.COMMUNICATION: I could never get anyone on the phone, and had to email them, to which they got back to me after a few days with what never seem like a personalized response. I decided to DM Jose via his IG account (@thecreditdude) to no avail. I felt like a stalker. writing Check your DM under his posts. It wasnt until I wrote maybe someone will get back to me in his comments from one of his promo posts, was when he gave me immediate attention and was in my inbox quickly.I can tell he was annoyed from his voice notes as he was super defensive in his responses and had an attitude. I proceeded to say to him that after 3 rounds of no results or notifications from the bureaus, I had decided to cancel and try to dispute the items myself so I need him to cancel my membership immediately. He got more annoyed and and blocked me on IG like a bitter ex girlfriend...SMHThe lack of professionalism and attitude I received from Jose after I asked to cancel my account was not only shocking but disappointing especially since I had not come for him in a disrespectful way.(1) late deletion from 1 department store reporting same late on 2 bureaus are a piece of cake for the #1 company in NJ right? My credit score is almost 800 and I just needed to have this 1 item removed from 2 bureaus to polish my file. According to the testimonials he promotes this should have been fairly simple process to execute with a few rounds no? Some take longer than others, I know! Maybe it was just my bad luck.For as much as Joses social media promotes the perception on being one of the best credit repair companies in NJ, I was shocked to hear his behavior in his voice note with an attitude. I never came at him sideways and mentioned to him that I hired his company because I do not have time to do this process myself. His response was Everyones busy, Everyone Travels. That is not what a SERVICE-BASED organization tells its customers. But OK!One thing that business owners do is educate the consumer (which Jose does very well) the other is to actually do the work youre being paid to do. Just like I can cut my own grass as Jose constantly says, I can also fix my own credit. However, it is a TIME CONSUMING process. So I hired you for your TIME. Dont tell me everybodys busy. That was the statement that drove me to write this review.Jose and I have a few friends in common. Some that form part of his flipping network. Realtors, Mortgage Reps, DJs, and Music Executives. Seeing an old friend and very respected business person in his network work with him I decided to give it a shot. Do your research, anything they claim to be able to do (for a fee) you can do on your own. They use shady business tactics to convince people waste their money. Plus they charge an upfront fee (which is illegal per the FTC)

The program is ineffective and in some regards very risky.At first, you’re asked to share your sensitive personal documents with them (a scan of your SSN card, your IDs and if immigrant residency documents.. etc) that by itself is considered illegal by the GDPR standards and the new California data privacy law.Let’s talk about the all automated emails that you receive throughout the program. Inhuman and unprofessional and at times irrelevant. Basically this program contacts the bureaus pretending to be you (which is fishy) or on your behalf but that doesn’t seem to be the case because all the responses come back to your home address and you’re then required to scan them so Clean Slate can see what the bureaus have said. on the other hand, you’re required to pay 25$/ month to identityIQ and you have to share the password with them. This by itself is a data privacy breach. The fact that they say they charge by deletion is true but what about the $190 that you pay upfront.. for what?Always in regards to data privacy and consent for its use, Your email will be used for marketing campaigns where the credit dude is either an affiliate or the owner of some credit cards or things of that sort. On their Facebook group, I had an inquiry and my post was never posted, they only allow testimonials from non-legit or could be paid for accounts.I would advise anyone to do there research and consider disputing wrong reports on your own.Will come back with more details and evidence if needed.

Clean slate is legitimately the best. They helped me get my credit back on track. In less than 6 months I was able to finance a car and get a new credit card with a 4000$ credit limit. However, its imperative that you understand that you have to comply with their directions and advice. They do their best to advice you accordingly to your situation so help them, help you. Everyone s situation is different so in the beginning some may see slow progres or some may see fast progress again it depends on being patient, follow directions and your particular situation. I spoke with Alex today. He was very helpful and answered all of my questions. He helped me to understand how to effecfively rebuild my credit score. Very professional, considerate and helpful. I would recommend this organization to anyone who needs help to rebuild their credit.

I was skeptical of the process but also in a bad place with my credit so I felt like I had no choice but to take action. These guys definitely did what they said they were going to do and I went from 560 to over 700 in a year and a half. They will provide you with the tools you need to help your credit get better. Just be very aware, its possible to work against them and yourself so avoid that. As long as you use these guys and stay in line, you will see an obvious and large change in your credit score.

Actually spoke to Jose and explained what I thought there was going on in my file unfortunately in my situation they have to do extra rounds. But people they only charge for deleting items no monthly fees so yea its 100% favorable towards clients. We are going to move forward and hopefully get this resolve. I take some blame on this as well. I highly recommend clean slate and beatriz as your credit coach.
