Absolutely wonderful experience! My review covers two-visits and communication in between. First of all, the place is immense. They have everything a motor-junkie could want. Even the used machines look like they came right off the assembly line. Very impressive facility.On my first visit, I was allowed to look around with no pressure. When I finally went to the info desk to ask for help, Kyle came by and talked me through the KTM 390 Adventure. He was extremely knowledgeable and down-to-Earth. Our conversation went from bikes to quads to kids and back to bikes. They did not have both colors of the bike on the showroom floor, so we went out back to check one out. After going through all of the features (some of which I was pleasantly surprised about), he convinced me that the black/orange he showed me in the back was the way to go. (Great decision!) Kyle answered every one of my questions with confidence. It was clear that he had done his homework. Once I decided to buy, the process was very up-front and honest. The pricing that you see is exactly what you get; he explained it thoroughly. Since it was late in the day on a Saturday, we couldnt complete the financing. However, Trudi took my financing application and said she would get back to me on Monday to go over my options. They took my deposit and explained that it actually locked my machine out of the system so it was impossible to accidentally sell during the hold time.On Monday and Tuesday, Trudi worked to get me the best deal possible, communicated with me via text, and I ended up with a great deal.The next Saturday, I arrived to complete the sale. The bike was already being prepped for delivery when I arrived. Kyle went through all of the documentation first. Then, he walked us through the dealership, introducing us to the parts and service departments on the way. (All great guys!) All the while, he was explaining the perks of Rices preferred maintenance plan.Once back in the finance office with Trudi, the process went very smoothly. The paperwork was all ready to go and all we had to do was listen to her concise explanations and sign. The preferred maintenance plan is an excellent value! The first service alone covers about 1/3 of the cost of the plan. I recommend it to anyone who wants to keep their machine in top shape. (There are other great perks...but Ill let the good folks there explain them to you when you visit!) I must also say that they were very welcoming to our 10-year-old who was fascinated by the place. They were patient and helped us keep him busy while we were completing our business. After the completion of the paperwork, we received free hats and got to ring the bell. Whenever someone buys a machine at Rices, they ring the giant bell; The place erupts in applause and makes you really feel like youre among friends.To finish up, Kyle loaded the bike into the back of our pickup truck and helped strap it down for the four-hour ride back home to Montana.To summarize: I would wholeheartedly endorse Rices Rapid Motorsports. It is run how a business should be run. It was worth the drive from Montana. I cant wait to go back for my first service. Thank you, especially, to Kyle and Trudi. You made us feel like family!

Recently bought a used boat, was told at the time of purchase the boat and trailer were inspected and fluids had been swapped, a little over three weeks bearings blew out on the trailer spindle was in horrid condition. When brought to the service department I was told by the guy up front he would get it in that day or the next, and that it appeared it left the lot with no grease on the bearings when I mentioned they did the most recent service he seemed like he had no idea and wanted to pass it off onto someone else. After calling the next day I was told it wouldn’t be accomplished for another 3 weeks or after the rally. Also, was never called to pick up my title they called the wrong number and never made any other attempt to contact me via mail email or phone. Long story short for a trailer shop to accept the service with a three day service estimate .Last time I ever do business here work ethic and honesty is the lowest on the list of qualities here.

I love how people talk customer service with this place. My son had the top end rebuilt here. New rings, piston, cylinder etc… I was told they tore the entire motor down and in a detailed conversation everything else was in good condition. Only 10 minutes of ride time the crank broke. We took the bike back and they said it wasn’t there fault and they couldn’t do anything for us. Then on top of that they wanted to charge us for putting the bike back together. I personally know similar stories from this shop from other people. I will never step foot in this business again.

I cannot even begin to thank the Rices Rapid Motorsports team enough. I rolled into town with a pretty dodgy bike on my hands and although they were fully booked they took the time to take a look at my bike, not wanting me to continue on my journey on a potentially dangerous set of wheels. It turned out the bike was in pretty serious shape and needed a top end rebuild. The team kept a great line of communication open with me and helped me to better understand my options. They truly went above and beyond, doing their best to keep my costs down and providing excellent customer service - by far the best Ive received from any mechanics on the road. They even checked in on me once I was back on the road, to ensure the bike was holding up well. A special mention to Jeff, Marty and Brach who are a huge credit to the business. Id recommend any motorcycle owner looking for exceptional service head to Rices Rapid Motorsports - these guys are the best of the best.

This is our experience at Rice’s rapid motorsports. About 3 months ago we purchased a sxs. We made the decision to continue business with them. About a week ago we purchased tires and wheels from rice Honda. Despite them refusing to balance the tires, we paid to have them mount and assemble the bead locking wheels and tires. We asked to have them balanced because they are DOT tires and we will be driving the unit on the road as well. After taking it out we knew there was something wrong with the wheels or tires. Repeatedly trying to contact the service department was absolutely pointless. We tried for about a week and left 6 messages. No one in service would answer the phone and the receptionist wouldn’t make any effort besides taking a message. We decided to take time out of our very busy working day to fix the tires. After finding a defect in the tire or wheel, we again made the mistake to try to contact rice. We were yelled at by the service manager who was not interested in helping us in any way. Despite there being a defect there was nothing he would do. We said we would no longer be buying anything at rice’s rapid motorsports and the service manager said “it sounds like it!” We still have a lot of work we want to do to our unit but will never again go to rice’s rapid motorsports. The terrible customer service lead me to take the time and write a review. I will also be canceling the extended service contract with Rice’s Rapid motorsports.

I wished I had the same experience as the others. I how ever have not i own a honda and i am looking for parts. Went in and called talked to a young gentleman behind the counter. Explained to him what I was looking for he said it would take him a lil bit to find as my bike is older. However it has been two weeks since i have spoke with the young man and no reply. So i guess i will have to find another place to get my parts. Was trying to support my local business but i guess that is not going to work. Funny thing is everyone says support your locals but this is the service our locals give us.

I called them and ordered a replacement switch cube for a Street Triple RS. They said they didnt have it in stock, but could get it in within a week. A week later, I called and got no answer. I ended up making 4 phone calls to them over the next two hours and never got a response, so I drove there to get an update. The parts guy said the part was on backorder and that they couldnt even get an estimate for when it would be available. He had nothing to say when I pointed out that I should have been called and informed that my order couldnt be completed.My order was never shipped, they knew they couldnt get one, but still wasted a week of my time waiting for a part that they cant get. They didnt even have the decency to pick up the phone and inform me that they couldnt complete the order. Had they called and tried to work something out, I might consider using them in the future. Because they didnt, Ill take my business elsewhere.

Purchased a snowmobile exclusively for ice fishing.Admitted upfront to the salesperson that I am not a snowmobile person, and was only looking for “tractor” to run across the ice with a flip over behind.Reviews on the internet said this was the sled to get because of the big track and the improvements to the cooling system (additional radiator in the front).First use on ice, the Skandic overheated within 3 miles.Ran fine on snow.When I returned from my trip, I contacted service to find out why it overheated, with the thought that perhaps the extra fan wasn’t turning on. Perhaps just a simple glitch.Come to find out this particular model of Skandic sled didn’t have this radiator. I was not informed upfront that this was an optional piece of equipment, and instead was told this is what to expect with no snow getting thrown on the radiator under the seat.Given my stated purpose for purchasing this snowmobile, I would have expected the salesman to have had adequate knowledge of exactly what he was selling me and to let me know I needed this unbeknownst to me optional piece.Inquired about adding this radiator and heard back later in the day that it would cost an additional $1000 to have this component added on.Spoke with two different managers to try to arrive at some level of satisfaction. Perhaps discount the part and labor fee?The second manager was very clear that he didn’t really make any money on these sleds and therefore shouldn’t expect a decent level of customer service. I was essentially left with the option of either studding my tracks with the hope that enough ice was kicked up to provide adequate cooling and if that didn’t do enough to add scratchers. Manager insisted that the souped up drag sleds in the area were running around just fine this way and that this would be a reasonable compromise rather than him having to charge me full freight on parts and service on the actual piece of equipment that I thought I was actually purchasing.So this new “ice fishing” snowmobile,which Rices had no problems cashing my check for, is useless for the purpose in which it was purchased.Was disappointed to be told that the onus is on me as a consumer to know to the particulars of the equipment they were selling.Had I known they were merely order takers rather than knowledgeable sales professionals I wouldn’t have been as disappointed.****Edited****Garrett,While I appreciate your effort to make suggestions on how to make due with an purchase ill suited for my intended use, it certainly would have been nice to make an informed decision.Your order taker absolutely didn’t know much about this sled. He admitted that he was a mountain sled guy. When I called this morning to express my concerns and dismay over this situation, he literally had to look up whether this sled had the above-mentioned radiator.You as GM choose to make excuses for poorly trained staff rather than step up and work to some satisfactory compromise.He assumed I was up to speed? I was very clear that I was not a snowmobile hobbyist.I would have been very satisfied with some level of a reduction of fees on the radiator install; that would have been a nice compromise. It was shocking to be told that the least attempt to rectify the situation was not possible because you didn’t make enough profit on the sale.It appears that you’re satisfied to sell a completely inappropriate piece of equipment, then wash your hands once the check has cleared.

I was in the market for family toy, came down to SXS. Which lead me to Polaris & Can Am. I did my research and I purchased a 2021 Can Am Maverick X3 Max. I knew it there was going to be a wait so I asked for lead times and they were out about 8 weeks. Put my deposit down and patiently waited for the call to say my machine was in. Took it out a couple times since we picked it up. Super pumped, this machine is badda** ! Very happy with purchasing this machine. Thanks Rice’s!

Today Juel & I rode Spyders! We rode our maroon 2015 to Rapid and we drove home in a new 2021 blue Spyder from Rice Rapid Motorsports! We love our new ride! Much softer seats and heated, easier shifting, smoother ride, a larger foot rest with shock absorption, and oodles of new computer doodads that we have no clue how to use yet! We have the owners book out as I type!

I was looking at buying a Used Honda Goldwing from them I got the ducks in a row had a amazing salesman who helped me out. Was set to go out and purchase when Garett and his finance manger ruined the deal by the lies and promising the wrong numbers. This is a great example of Dishonesty of dealerships. Reading the reviews sounds like this happens a lot. Promise to return my call and fix the deal. No return call or anything to save the deal.

I have been searching quite awhile for a new bike and finally found this one. I went in looking for a Victory and now own a KTM. SERVICE and PARTS have been the absolute best to deal with getting the bike where I want it. April in finance Great & knows her stuff. If youre in the market, ask for Owen, he made this an easy sale. I do not like salesmen that:oversale & Owen Wolff answered my questions & hopefully made an easy sale. UPDATE the KTM is back with them and now I have finally got my retirement/dream bike thanks to Tim Scott!

I dont usually leave reviews but felt it was necessary here. I brought in a bike to have 2 leaking carbs rebuilt. After the carbs were rebuilt and installed I was told that they had to remove the carbs to do additional work due to an aftermarket seat and needle leaking. On 1/28 I picked up the bike, put it on a trailer, brought it home and put it in the garage. It did run smoothly after the rebuild but when I started it to move the bike on 4/8, the R carb leaked through the overflow tube. I had ridden it less than 100. On 4/9 I called the service dept., the line was busy and I left my number for a return call - no call as of 4/20. I cant recommend Rice Rapid Motorsports based on my experience and will likely go to the local independent shop to get it resolved.

Cant say enough good about the character of this dealership. While traveling from the black hills back to Ohio, I notice some irregular wear of my front tire and the rear was at the wear bars. Thought they would make it the whole trip but they wouldnt make it home. Despite being booked solid they worked me in first thing in the morning for a new set of tires. Fair price for my visit no complaints. If you live in the area or are passing through and need anything they have it there. Great place to do business IMO. Thank you guys for helping me out the tires are awesome!

Nothing but 5 stars for these guys. I was on a UTV trail riding trip to the Black Hills and I had an unrepairable flat. I walked into Rice Honda on a Friday afternoon and they were busy. John in parts helped me find tires that worked, and then Jeff in service fit me in to have them mounted. They both went above and beyond when they could have told me it would be done on Monday. My weekend trip was saved by these guys and their commitment to customer service. Ill go back to Rice Honda for anything I need in the future. Thanks guys!

I went into the store today with a grand to spend on a Helmet and some accessories. The lady at the front was very nice and showed me to the area where the helmets were. She even went and told the salesman I was there to buy a helmet. Im new to the motorcycle game and I would like help sizing and such. After 10 mins of looking as if I needed help I went to the counter and I guess interrupted a guy on the computer. (the store wasnt busy as I was the only person looking at helmets) I asked that I would like help purchasing a helmet. The guy said all what he got was on the floor. He then asked without caring for the sale what I wanted I told him I wanted windproof and bluetooth. He really wasnt helpful. I guess Ill spend my money elsewhere.

I am very impressed by the kind service and dedication at this business. Employees were helpful, courteous, and efficient. On my tour from Milwaukee to Denver, I had a battery issue with my motorcycle and was lucky to be close enough to get the bike here.Even though it’s an incredibly busy time of year for them, they got a look at it and back to me in just 2 hours. Was a good experience dealing over the phone for a new skidoo. When I came to pick it up, there was some misunderstanding of some of the extras, but it was mostly worked out. Actual pickup of the sled was very chaotic. Was walking back and forth from department to department and waiting for this person or that to get to the next step. Everything was determined and a time was set, so I was hoping for less confusion. Could be a growing pain thing. Overall, it was fine. Im sure Ill be back. Just could have been better.
