The laundromat is great. Always been a little pricey I think, but they have plenty of machines and dryers to use, 3 vending machines. One for cold drinks, one for snacks, one for coffee. They have a soda fountain, with one free refill, a dry cleaning service, and showers. The biggest issue they have is keeping the bathroom clean. There rest of the place, they do a good job of keeping it clean.

Clean building. Awesome staff. If you want to use the WiFi, just ask at the counter to get a voucher.

Absolutely 100% on 5 stars, fully staffed, all services are available. Had one machine not actually do the spin cycle, staff quickly allowed a machine swap and cycled it to spin only, no charge. Ill probably use the wash/dry/fold services next time. $2 per lb, I weighed mine and it would work out to $16, I almost spend that in quarters so.... Will be back when Im here for sure.

I used laundry world while visiting Rapid City. This is the best Laundromat I have ever been to in my life!!! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The whole store and washers and dryers are very clean. The washers work well, and they are fast. The dryers are big and get very hot. They have change machines, snacks, drinks and even Starbucks coffee. They have a play area for kids and tables to sit at. They offer showers and they sell laundry bags and supplies. I usually hate going to the laundromat, but l actually enjoyed my time here. Thanks Laundry World!!!! 😊

Clean location. Easily accessible. Lots of machines, so it was very easy to get my laundry done timely. Over all fair price. We also did the drop off wash-dry-fold service, which made life very easy.Overall, will return.

If you want your clothes covered in dog hair from the washers; bedding to smell of dog urine from the large capacity washers, and to be where the meth crowd hangs out...this is your place.I am a nurse, and my navy scrubs got covered in white dog hair multiple times. The washers also reek of mildew.Do better!

It was a good experience they have some machines where you can use your card. What happens is when you use your card the bank holds 20.00 dollars and you can wash and dry on that if you go over that then they hold another 20.00 and if you dont use all of it what ever is left gets put back on your card between 24 and 48 hours. They have Free Wi- Fi for customers, showers you can buy for 6.00 for 30 minutes, 1.00 per towel, ATM machine, a Change machine where you can get quarters for the other machines that doesnt take cards, a small snack bar where you can get coffee and drinks not sure if you can get food items my husband only told me about the coffee, they also have soda and vending machines. You can also buy laundry bags. Also you can drop off your laundry for them to do they will weigh it and tell you how much it will cost plus if you need alterations they send it to someone who does it. I highly recommend it to everyone that comes to Rapid City, South Dakota on vacation. Giving the business and employees a five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating because the business was very clean and the employees was very friendly, courteous, and helpful!!!! 😊😊

Needed a place to quickly do laundry during a week long trip to the Badlands/Black Hills. Washed and dried within 1 hour. $3.25 per washer, $2.00 per dryer. Clean facility and have coffee!

Clean, nice attendant, but $8.25 to wash. Clothes were clean and dryer was 2.00 for 30 minutes and it wasnt quite enough time to completely dry jeans but it works.

Prices seem to change without notice, as do the rules. First time used, they sent us on our way with all of our stuff, but we were missing a whole bag of blankets that we had to come back for, and had someone elses stuff that we left at the counter. Second time, the prices went up due to her having more than one order to do that day. Not sure that you can change prices on how you are feeling, but apparently here you can and person at the desk isnt authorized to make a refund. Kind of a money scam going on. A bit rude and unprofessional. Only due to there being limited laundromats in the area, they can do whatever they please, but after this, well be taking our business elsewhere, even if we have to drive out some. Nothing like this happens on the East coast.

This is probably the nicest Laundromat in Rapid City! (Or at least in my opinion!) Washer didnt work properly left the Tide Pods on the lip of the washer so they didnt get used in the washer Id payed for ($3.50 per wash in White Washer // $4.00 on Grey H.E. Washer) so they ran another wash cycle on the house. Very kind! Always recommend this Laundromat. ALSO theyre getting bigger better dryers (:

Fantastic, free WiFi, large washers and dryers. Friendly staff, clean floors, tables, clothes baskets, even the restroom was very clean. In the snack are is where the WiFi is strongest. There is a room with a TV for the children if you brought any. In each of the corners of the wash are four TVs are placed out of reach of the customers, which is a good thing. They have a 24 hour turn over if decide to drop off laundry. They wash, dry, fold and keep it for your return. Credit cards are excepted for drop-off service as well as when you wash it yourself.

The establishment itself was very clean and kept up. We paid about average price to do a couple of loads of Laundry. The staff on the other hand came across very rude. The entire hour I was here they acted kind of snotty.

She looked very busy and I didn’t want to bother her but she always knew when I needed help. This is a surprisingly clean laundromat. They have options if you want someone to do your laundry for you. Its pay by the lb. They also have showers available for $5 for those who are camping nearby.Washing machines start at $3 and go to about $6, depending on the side that you need. Dryers are priced in $0.25 increments.Overall, VERY clean laundromat. Probably the cleanest one we have been to in the last 3-4 states. Employees are nice and there is a waiting area for children as well.

At 8:45 to 8:59 u will be told to leave do to last load is at 9 but truly is the lady that Native American with glasses on it looks like she been doing meth all her life and just wants to be lazy and leave exactly at 10 which laundry a load only takes 30 minutes she was being really lazy and rude and everybody around her didnt say nothing like she was the boss but bosses dont get to top being lazy so I know she was not just a horrible place want to waste my time again then I will go there

So literally the best $100 I have ever spent. I have been so busy lately and we have been waiting for a new washer and dryer to be delivered but it keeps on getting delayed because of Covid. I took in 7 or 8 garbage bags full if laundry that was 3 weeks of clothes and it weighed 75 pounds. They did such a great job and I was so happy with the way everything turned out after worrying. They took out all the stains washed everything and folded so neatly it looked like folding from a retail store. I could recommend laundry world to anyone.

I travel the country for business and this was the most expensive laundromat I’ve ever been to! It wasn’t very clean and I felt uncomfortable doing my little bit of laundry. I won’t come back here!

When traveling find a laundry mat that has full service. Meaning you can do laundry drop off. The attendant is always here and things are kept neat and clean and in order. This place is awesome. Being away from home it is nice to find a nice place to get a much needed chore done.

This place is great- theres always machines available and their big industrial grade washers really do the trick. Its a tad bit expensive but worth it, in my opinion. Customer service is really outstanding. Also, its very clean and orderly. Theres even a corner where kids can watch movies. Just beware, because of the area, there is a lot of theft so be sure to keep a good eye on your laundry.

This place is great! Our pump went out on our washing machine and we were able to do 6 loads in ONE machine in less than 30 minutes. Trey was exceptional at customer service and enjoyable to have a conversation with as we waited. Well definitely refer everyone we know to your great establishment.

I will start by saying that this place is very clean and prices are fair. However, I showed up this evening at 8:55 pm to dry a load of laundry which takes 30 minutes and was told they were closed. This is not the first time this has happened. I believe that as a professional business, you should be open the hours as advertised.

I rushed to get there before 9pm, but life happens. At 904pm, I walk in, and had to beg to give them my business. The attendant acted like I asked her to do push-ups. Ridiculous. She was rude, and acted like a sullen child. Ill drive to the west side to avoid the attitude.

Like others stated the place is very clean and bright. Machines range in size and price. The large cap 40# and 60# runs $6.50 and 7.75.The regular top loading run $3.50 per wash. Most place outside of RC are 1.75 to 2.25.We have done laundry in other places and rapid city has been the most expensive.We are staying at the Elk lodge rv park so this was convenient. The other laundry place was closwr but cost more.

Came here because they had the best rating in the area.Now I can see why. Very clean and all of the machines work. Will definitely be coming back.

This is about the best set up Ive seen for a laundromat, which is the service I used, the coin operated machines.

My buddies and I went on a backpacking trip without access to showers every truck stop offered showers for $12 this place offered it for $5. They were super nice and friendly. Not to mention that the showers were just like at home. If Im back in the area totally will be back.

Great place to do laundry and bigger items. Love the big machines they have that can handle sleeping bags and comforters. Always clean and very friendly staff. Even tried the shower once and enjoyed that as well when camping in the area.

This place is the best laundromat I have been to. I have been in 6 states where I have used at least 15 different laundromats. The are clean friendly and accommodating. My kids feel like they are in a daycare setting while mom and dad feel we are at a serviced laundromat. They serve drinks and have vending machines. They offer dry cleaning at a reasonable price and showers for $4. They even have some clothes that sit longer then a month that they offer to the homeless that come in no and again for a shower. But still their bathroom and shower area remains very clean. They work hard and take pride in being a test driveren and proven clean environment. We are happy and they are happy. Highly recommend.

This is one of the CLEANEST laundry facilities i have ever been in. Lots of washers and dryers to accommodate any size load. Friendly staff ON SITE. Refreshments available for the patrons. Overall amazing!!!

They provide every service to could imagine from food to even SHOWERS. Ive never seen that before. Very well done. I will always keep this place in mind.

This is by and far the best laundromat in Rapid City. It can get very busy during the evenings. It is a attended laundromat and they stop letting people start washes at 2100 but will stay open until 2230 for people to dry clothes. I strongly recommend this place.

Great prices, and fun service. May seem boring, but the people working there are always nice to everyone. It covers all your laundry needs. If you are traveling and need a shower you can shower there and they have supplies for the showers.

This is definitely my preferred place when I have to use a laundromat. Its always clean & attended, if a machine doesnt work, they are quick to refund money you put in & get a sign on it. I have checked a couple of other local places closer to home but those are dirty & feel unsafe. I also think its cool that they offer free detergent, I havent used it, but its there if needed.

Its not often I need to use a laundromat as I have my own washer and dryer, but sometimes they breakdown and I need to use one. When I do I always know to head to Laundry World where I know the machines are clean and running with a crew that keeps it that way. Thanks for being there.

Great laundromat, clean and with everything you could hope for (including showers). We went there after a big storm flooded our tent and in less than 2 hours, everything was cleaned and dried and we were ready to go. This place really saved the day!

I came to laundry world before it switched over to new management and I still come here now. Since the switch I have noticed how much cleaner the establishment is and there are a lot of new improvements. The atmosphere is much more inviting and it doesnt look as cluttered. Will always come back.

Clean laundry operation.

Its kinda spendy compared to the last time I went to a laundrymat 8 years ago. $7.50 a load for the good washers $3.50 for low grade. Its nice and I like how they have a soda machine but the pops are a small $1.75 and the mediums are $ 2.25. one refill. The workers seemed to have good attitudes. I cant imagine showering here but whatever floats your boat

UPDATE AND APOLOGY FOR LAUNDRY WORLD, I am so sorry I thought it was the laundromat in Apple Valley, Ca. Cause I was working in Apple Valley before moving on to Rapid City. Please except my apologies clearly a mistake on my part and I feel bad. Laundry world is great but my opinion still stands for the laundromat in Apple Valley, Ca. They really do suck!

Very clean and reasonable. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. We stopped at another laundromat and immediately walked out. Laundry world is the place to go in Rapid City for any RVer.

I actually enjoyed doing my laundry here! Prices are similar, but much cleaner and well kept. They have a great coffee shop, big screen TV, free wifi, free soap if you need. Friendly staff, lots of machines with variety of sizes, lots of carts and tables for folding. Is close to shopping and restaurants if you need while doing laundry. Am going to try the drop off next time, rates sound reasonable.

The staff is very helpful and very professional. They even helped me carry my laundry to my car! The manager named Josh and a young lady were very nice and courteous to me. 5 stars! Good Job!! And free wifi and TV!

We did several loads of laundry using both the regular sized- and the big blanket sized machines. 2.75 dollars for the regular ones and 5.75 dollars for bigger ones. They have two huge washing machines for 6.75 dollars. Everything worked great with the washing machines. We did not use the free laundry soap due to my allergies. After washing our stuff, we put them into various dryers. I put money in for 28 minutes. Nothing dried after the time was up. I put in more money for another 20 minutes. Still not completely dry. My husband got very irritated that the dryers were eating the money. He asked the older lady, how do we clean the lint filter?I have a key said the lady. She reluctantly opened two of the filters and cleaned them. GOSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, wonder our clothes did not want to dry. We will not return to this laundromat.
