I want to thank Cody this evening for going above and beyond in his customer service ! As the older lady in glasses simply left me standing at the printer still unsure and did a complete drive by on me with a run by comment :( Cody took one literally one minute to help me with my purchase of a gift card and made sure I was completely satisfied! Thanks so much to him that I’m able to hand in my printed documents! Something so kind and simple went a long way in my world ! I hope he knows that it was just not just a piece of paper it was pertaining to my whole life and my future! Great service ! Happy tears ! Proud rewards member because of people like Cody when I could have easily went next door and used my neighbors printer for free ! Thanks again for being above and beyond ! I felt like a human ! ;)

If you want to get something printed you have to use the self serve printer which is fine for people who have card payments but for those who use cash there is a minimum of 2.50 to get something printed by the workers. I went in this morning to use the self serve printer, it didn’t print what I needed so the employee printed it off behind the desk. Well the minimum charge was 2.50. So I paid 2.50 for 2 sheets of paper. It is such a rip off to those who use cash and/or when the self serve printer doesn’t print what you need. I will NOT be going back to Office Depot again. Screw that company.

Lisa at the Copy and Print station was very helpful. She caught a spelling error that I had missed on my wedding invitations. She helped make sure that the problem got fixed before they were printed. Her attitude was super friendly and a delight to talk to!

Staff in the copy and print Center was very friendly. Took no time at all for my laminated prints. Love that they can also ship FedEx for you here. There arent other options in Rapid City, so its nice when they are friendly and helpful.

Masks are required to enter the building (30,000 square feet with 10 people). they say they offer curbside pickup but...the website doesnt work so theres no curbside pickup.how does an office supply / technology company have a failing website?

I was in office depot to do a return with a receipt. I asked that the return be placed on a in store card. The cashier had no idea what he was doing. He argued with us. Clearly he isnt trained properly for the register. And he never asked for a supervisor to assist him in doing it. This was at the Office Depot in Rapid City, SD. This kind of service is why we as consumers wont buy from local businesses. I own a company and when it comes to my business supplies I will now turn to online and have it come right to my door. Will not be returning to this store ever because of their poor customer service.

I’ve given this business the benefit of the doubt multiple times.. I’ve always had awful serviceOnce I went to print something and their machine was broken or they can’t figure it out.. I just had to leave after a 45 minutes of frustration - even though I ordered it online ahead of timeI’ve had people tell me they’re not sure what their inventory is and they don’t know if they have a printer cable cord or not?? Like Go look?I cannot believe this place is still in business! I never complain about service and this place has topped the worst service list for me, hands down.

Out standing service!!! I went in needing a desk chair and it didnt take long for me to find what I wanted. Remembered I needed to get a couple of computer monitors an the Manager saved me a few bucks by showing me a bigger monitor than what I was looking at and it was $10 cheaper. Very helpful, polite and prompted. Catch their stuff on sale and you will save a ton. Thank you Office Depot!!!

Its a different experience each time since they downsized to one store. The customer service can be amazing or it can be horrible. Absolutely horrible as it was our experience today. I do believe we are going to start purchasing our printers and electronics from Best buy .

The print shop staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to get my brother-in-laws wedding invitations printed on vellum for a really good price. The print shop has a very limited selection of paper, but you can buy anything of the shelf and have them print on it.

Well where shall I begin? The customer service here is Phenomenal. The staff of always checking on me. Even the Manager Reed is making sure I am so happy. Went to get a computer chair from the store, only to be told it was sold out with just a display model. Found it online, purchased the chair. Found out when we tried to assemble this pos that the screw holes werent properly set and took two people tugging to get it partially set...2 hours of arm wrestling for a 2 week delivery. Will go to walmart next time.

I just left Office Depot and couldnt be more impressed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Sarah B helped me find the perfect card stock to print my wedding invitations. She was efficient and kind. I will definitely recommend Office Depot to friends and family for their printing needs.

Always have what I need and great customer service

Very impressed with the service I received here. I sent them a digital file of some party invitations I needed printed. They were Harry Potter themed and I just said I wanted them on cardstock. The lady called to tell me they were done and said that she hoped I didnt mind but she went ahead and printed them on a different type of paper to make them really look like they came from Hogwarts. When I went to pick them up, they looked FANTASTIC! I was thoroughly impressed with her willingness to give some creative input. Then when we were checking out, the guy helping us overheard my husband and Id conversation about how I hoped I could find an envelope for them to fit in. He took it upon himself to grab a ruler and measure them and tell me exactly which envelopes I should use. Excellent customer service!

They have what you need, when you need it. Very helpful staff. The printing, cutting, copying department is a very handy tool for small businesses creating custom pieces on smaller scale. Just remember, its ok to pay a little more for convenience.

If we could have more than one cashier, that would be great. Move your returns and other customer service stuff to another area so the people still willing to get their supplies locally can get in and out and spend their money with you.

The print shop at office depo is well equipped, large plotters and high speed systems. Within an hour of showing up I have walked out with a large poster mounted on a foam core. I continue to go back and recommend buying ink there, deal when you return empty cartridges.

I went shopping on Black Friday. I was helped in a timely fashion and every question i had was answered. I believe it was Gabe who helped me out that day. I would definitely go back in the future.

I had 40 or so laminated sheets printed out for me. They came out and none of them were smooth and didn’t look great. We went back and Chris told me it was her that did the work and took full responsibility of it, apologized and gave us a full refund. She offered to let us keep the sheets that were already printed then looked up our receipt to complete the refund. Extremely professional and apologetic. Mistakes happen and you can’t handle them better than she did. Excellent service!

Unsatisfied with Best Buy I went to Office Depot to get a printer. Much more laid back and professional. I was able to get a printer that fit my budget and needs thanks to Gabe. I left very happy and even picked up a decent wired mouse, which they had none of at Best Buy. Super glad I went there.

We always work with Gabe. He is always sure to get us a solution that fits our needs and budget. I never feel pressured or needlessly up-sold on items. The store is always clean and I really like that its quiet and calm unlike some other big box stores.

I was in this store picking up a computer my parents had purchased two weeks ago. They lost the power cord. The person helping my partner “Gabe” became hostile and refused to help finish setting up the computer. He stormed off to get another associate to help them. He stated he had to go outside before he hit someone. The level of professionalism in this store is the worst I have ever seen in any business that I have entered. What store has employees that threaten to hit customers.

I am so impressed with the kindness and helpfulness of 2 of the staff members there. I wish I hadnt been in such a big hurry to not catch their names but I owe them a big thank you! I needed to bring a resume to an interview within 15 min and my home printer wouldnt work! I came running into the store and was immediately greeted and taken to the printing station where a very nice man and woman rushed to help me print my resume as fast as possible. My print looked excellent and I was out of there in 5 minutes! I made it to my interview with 5 minutes to spare. Ive always been satisfied with my experiences in the store as far as customer service and product quality but these guys went above and beyond for me and basically secured my future!!! Thanks you guys!!

I like this place. The employees have always been nice, but everytime I have been in to have a book set with the spiral ring, they always mess up and end up having to make the book smaller or sometimes sections of my book smaller. It gets a little frustrating.

I have been going to Office Depot for the last ten years. One of the things I do on a regular basis is get a personallized calendar made every year at Christmas time. I stopped in two weeks ago just to see if they are still doing the calendars and how much they were. The guy behind the counter advised they were $9.50 per calendar and the turn around time would be about two days which is consistent with the past. When I went there today to drop off my jump drive to get the calendars done, the lady (for lack of a better term) advised me to go home and do the calendars on the internet instead of her doing them. When I asked her if she could make them instead, she said that if she made them that it would take two to three weeks to get them done. I told her that we have NEVER had that issue in the past. She once again told us to go home and make them on the internet. I asked her if the price was the same and she said yes that it was around $16.00 per calendar. I told her that I have never had that problem or ever paid that much in the past. When I told her I would just go to Walmart instead, she smittently said OK. When I came home, I looked on the sight out of curiosity and there is no where on the sight to do the personalized calendars like i used to have done in the past. They will no longer get my business but apparently that doesnt matter because to Office Depot, customer service doesnt mean what it used to.

Service desk persons the day I was in there were were rude and very lazy. I waited in line to ring up one small item while the two stood there with their arms folded doing absolutely nothing waiting on the copy machine to print out 300 pages for someone. They could of helped 10 customers in this time, and four people including myself left the store without buying anything, poor customer service at best!
