I had my car detailed here because I had won a gift certificate on the radio, it was for a complete detail inside and out, and said it had a value of $250. When I picked my car up I was not impressed, they didn’t even scrub the bugs off the front (can still see were they splattered). They had my car from 8am to about 4:30 when I picked it up, considering my car was fairly clean inside anyway I think that time frame was to long. Ultimately probably won’t be back, and I would not pay my own money for this service. I expected more for something they usually charge $250.00 for.*edit* I would think if you’re having a problem getting something clean, you could mention it to your customer so they aren’t surprised that something still looks “dirty”. I’ve never had a problem getting rid of bugs before. I’m not convinced even a little bit that my interior was shampooed, considering there was no lingering smell of cleaner, and still had dog hair on the seats. I have done detailing before so I’m not completely clueless. For a “free” clean it was perfectly acceptable, but unfortunately nothing about it made me think “wow, I’ll definitely be back to pay well over $100 for this”. Considering I’m not out anything it’s really not worth it to request time off work just to take the car back.
