Extraordinary courteous and helpful. Ray answered when my original ride fell through, gave me an ETA, and let me know again when he was close. He was personable and got me to the airport in no time. He went above and beyond when I left some items in his cab and didnt notice until I had already boarded my flight. He went all the way back to the airport and delivered them in time for a coworker to grab them before their flight. Thanks Ray!

This is the worst taxi ever in my life . I am not from here and I try to call them and asked for availability. I don’t even know who is the taxi driver on the phone she was sooooooo rude and not professional . Don’t try to call taxi from this company . Lyft is way better then u guys !!!

I tried to call them 4 times to price check a ride. No answer it rang like twice then they sent it to voicemail.

After scheduling a pickup, I received a confirmation email, but no taxi showed when the time came. I was there 10 minutes early, and waited for around 15 to 20 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.Not only did I almost miss my flight, but I had to park my car at the airport, incurring a ~$200 parking fee.I told them the exact address, description of what I would be wearing/how I look, how much baggage I would have, and the importance of being picked up on time to catch a flight.Not only did they fail to show up, they never even gave me a phone call to check where I was, suggesting that a taxi never would have come regardless of how long I would have waited.

The moment I called the phone was answered very quickly and was told they would arrive shortly. Before I knew it they were here immediately. When they say they will come in a certain amount of time they do exactly that. I am very pleased with this cab service and I would recommended this one to anyone who needs a quick ride! The best cab in Rapid City. Very friendly and professional. I had to have surgery on a day when the weather was very bad. I called City Cab told them the situation and they got me to the hospital on time. The cab itself was very clean and smelled fresh. The driver was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I would recommend this cab to anyone. They are the first choice for me.

We called for a ride from our hotel to downtown Rapid City. Driver showed up 10 min late but was courteous and the cab was clean.2 hours later we called for a ride back to the hotel. We were told the cab would be there in 30 minutes. After waiting over an hour we called again and were told that the cab had showed up and left because she called twice and we didn’t answer the phone. This was BS because we were waiting outside the entire time and never received a phone call. She said she’d return in 15 minutes. When she didn’t come back we called again. 3 times. No answer each time. Super disappointing as we gave her a very generous tip on the first ride. We ended up calling A1 cab service which was EXCELLENT. Very prompt and courteous. Don’t waste your time with this unprofessional individual. Call A-1 cab if you’re in rapid city.

Called for a cab to pick up my car, she had passengers already on a route but gave me a clear and quick time she could pick me up. She kept in contact with me and there was hardly any wait from when she told me she would arrive to actual arrival. The drive was calm and quick, none of the runaround that some other reviews talk about. Would definitely use them again next time Im in need of a cab.

I have used City Cab on many occasions; some work and some play. I have to say i wish the cab services here in Denver were the quality of City Cabs on South Dakota! DeAnna is my usual driver. So we had a decent experience gave a really good tip and found out my son left his phone in the cab. We called and he pretty much held his phone for ransom. The sculptor guy long dark hair said we could have it for 10.00. Seriouslyebay kind of business runs line this???????? Wont use you ever again!!!!!!! Id honestly love to have my 10.00 back plus the tip this guy so obviously doesnt deserve.

Service to the airport was timely, friendly, and comfortable. He assured us that hed be driving even if a predicted blizzard arrived. Although the meter exceeded the estimate hed quoted us by phone by a few bucks, he honored the estimate. Highly recommend.

The City Cab driver was excellent. I reserved a cab and then found out that the bus I was to take to Rapid City was 20 minutes late. My schedule was tight and 20 minutes was too much of a time loss for me. However, I called the City Cab Company again and told them I would be 20 to 25 minuets late and I didnt know if I would catch my flight in time. The driver told me it would be close, but to call when I reached a certain point and he would meet me at the bus station for the trip to the airport. I made it in time and it was a safe ride. I will use City Cab again. The driver was calm and a great driver. Thanks a lot.

10 miles from the airport was $38. This is usually $25. I could’ve gotten a ride through Lyft for $17.40. I want local businesses to succeed, but you’re not competitive with other options.Credit card payment was not available b/c the driver was not trained. We had to stop at an ATM for cash...The driver was friendly and the vehicle was clean.

City Cab is the only taxi I use regularly. Rapid Taxi is very slow and they skip you immediately if u dont answer ur phone once. I usually have to wait 30, 45 mins and sometimes more. City cab is usually 10-20 min or faster. She very punctual and sweet. I enjoy the ride and her company. Very professional and polite. I will always use city cab exclusively. I very highly recommend her. Thanks so much!!!

The driver Tommy was Heaven Sent. we tried to get a taxi from four other places once they heard it was Edgemont South Dakota they said go ahead and find yourself different taxi because we wont go anywhere near there. they got there on time the driver was very friendly and got us to where we needed to go at a fair rate. A special shout-out to Tommy and Mike thank you for everything. If I were you and looking for a taxi in Rapid City or anywhere in the surrounding areas of South Dakota these are the guys to do the job.

Full disclosure - I had used City Cab once before today, and was impressed with the professionalism and punctuality of the driver and the cleanliness of the vehicle.Now, for the disappointing part - I had scheduled a ride to the airport. The pick-up time came and went, so I called the companys phone to make sure they didnt have any trouble finding my address. I called probably 10 times over the next 15 minutes, and no one ever answered the phone - so I finally ended up starting my day of travel by franticly driving myself to the airport and having a (very dear) friend come and pick up my car from the short-term parking lot so it wouldnt be subjected to Rapid Citys unpredictable summer storms for two weeks. I still havent heard a word from City Cab. If you dont have the time or luxury of gambling on a situation like this, Id call someone else.

I called for a cab and it came in 30 minutes late, the driver drove like a maniac, he took me the long way across to my destination, and he charged almost double what the competitor would charge. If you are considering getting a ride from here I highly recommend not to this was just an awful experience.

I scheduled a ride to the airport the night before my flight with this company. The next morning, twenty minutes after the agreed time, I called their service to ask about where the driver might be. The company representative, rather condescendingly, told me I had never made a call to them, and, furthermore, that no taxi company that he ever known of does reservations.Do yourself a favor and try any other Rapid City cab company that knows how to do its own business.

Driver yelled when I was trying to explain pick up location. She then went to where she insisted I was and called when I wasnt there. I tried to explain where I was again and she continued to yell getting mad that she went to the wrong location. My experience was not friendly at all...

I GOT CHEATED! My family and I were visiting from Texas and got stranded at the First Assembly of God off of 16 and we called City Cab to take us to the nearest Walmart.Deanna arrived and the meter already had $5.30. When she started driving, she proceeded to take us the longer route, which was 3.1 miles, instead of straight across, which wouldve been 1.6 miles.She proceeded to try and convince us that there was a hill that she couldnt get over the other way, which sounded absolutely outrageous to me, so I began to joke and ask her if there was only one way into the walmart. She then proceeded to convince my best friend who was with us about the hill.The 3.1 miles ended us costing us $15.00 and I believe Deanna was expecting a tip, which I asked her if that would be appropriate giving our circumstances....I would not call them again. They took advantage of us being from out of state.
