Beautiful mind is an amazing place for Internships. Students get the opportunity to learn, practice and, treat various mental illnesses. I wouldn’t change the experience. Dr. J, and her staff are excellent.

I really appreciate all the staff at Beautiful Mind for their caring hearts, time spent on educating me, and getting me off some of these crazy medications. Many of those medications were making me sicker and the staff at Beautiful Mind understands that and care about me as a person and not try to shut me up by giving me more medications I just didnt need. They are often running late, but worth the wait because of the amount of time they take to educate me on my options and not focus on turning me into another guinea pig. Thank you, Beautiful Mind. Im now using gratitude as Dr. J taught me and life has been definitely brighter. The Secret does work.

Dont call and expect to talk to someone. If you leave a message, they wont get back to you. It is usually by the 4th or 5th message you leave that someone will return you call. They have no problem letting you run out of your meditation and go without it for days, so make sure you stay on top of things because they do not.

A family member used be a patient here, and had to leave in order to receive competent care elsewhere. I would never recommend this practice for many reasons. I wont get into details but it is not a professional practice.

Ive been coming to Beautiful Mind Psychiatric Mental Health Services for a while and find them to be the best around. The providers are extremely knowledgeable and demonstrated their care for me, my reasons for requesting service, and helped me develop a plan to address my issues. I first met with Dr. Jeanniton and found her to be honest, raw, and the real deal. Me being a fairly educated person, her approach surprised me at first but found it to be exactly what I needed. Too many times before therapists, providers and other people in this field asked my how I feel about something, prescribe me some meds, schedule me for an appointment 2 weeks later, and send me on my way. Dr. J Jeanniton is different. She takes the time to listen to me, helps me work through the process of understanding what is going on, and holds me to account each visit by assigning homework through either books, articles, or exercises. Ive had to face my own issues and stop blaming others for them. Her approach to medications and prescriptions also took me by surprise. She took me off the cocktail of medications I came in with and got me on the ones I needed - from 6 to 2. I learned there is no one pill to mask my problems or make me feel better, if anything the medication opened my eyes to my problems and sort of gave me a sense of clarity. I used to wonder why depression medication commercials would list increased depression as a side-effect. Well its because it takes the mask off my problems and see them. Thank God she took an interest in me because it was difficult going at first. After some time now, things are looking better and Ive started to understand my life is not as bad as I thought and my problems are mine and mine only to address. She gave me the tools and I continue to do the work. I have less bad days and more better days than I did before coming to her clinic but it does take time. I no longer want to just sit around home in the dark and wonder what life might have been despite the many things out there to experience, visit, and see. We only have one life to live and although its hard, Im starting to live it. When I fall off the wagon, I can count on Beautiful Mind to pick me up and keep me going. The front office people are great as well as the other providers. I saw Sherley once and she really knows what she is doing too. Wow, Ive learned so much. Only I can address my problems and it takes a lot more work than I ever thought. I tell all my friends about this place because it truly changed my life. You will only be disappointed if you are looking for a pill and someone to tell you everything is ok and everything is not your fault. Things may not be your fault but you still have to make the decision to keep it moving up rather than down. If you want honesty, people to care about your problems and hold you accountable, Beautiful Mind is the place I recommend.

I got a rude, disrespectful, low life so called therapist. Dr. Jeannition. I was called out on my grammer for saying hey in a message because it means horse. She doesnt deserve her degrees and is highly not someone you want to see... I recommend you never ever go here and she decided to drop me as a patient without any notice

I developed worsening depression on my medication and tried to make an appointment for a phone conference with Dr. Jeaniton after Edwin (who I loved) had to leave the practice. She never called despite me calling the office and leaving a message. Still nothing. Days later my mother spoke to Dr. Jeaniton on my behalf and instead of apologizing she had no explanation for abandoning me and I heard her being rude to my mother on the phone and she wouldn’t answer any questions. This was very upsetting as I wanted to trust her as a mental health patient. Very disappointing. Will be seeing someone else for my mental health journey.

At first it was okay. When I started seeing Dr Jeaniton, the office has newly opened and there were very few patients. I suffered from major depression after the passing of my mother from a heart attack. It was sudden, I didn’t expect it (who does actually?), didn’t have the time to grieve as I moved from my home country to US shortly after her death.I got admitted to an Ivy League school in Massachusetts and knew the pressure would be greater. After few weeks, months perhaps, Dr Jeaniton obviously got more patients and it became a typical “business”. No longer about care and compassion, but number of patients and appointments. It’s sad how quickly things have changed. I felt neglected, ignored, undermined and let to deal with my own problems.

I came to Beautiful Mind over a year ago looking for someone to help me manage my health. What I found was a very knowledgeable, caring and highly professional staff. I’ve been seeing Charlotte Maguire, who is amazingly kind and supportive! She ALWAYS makes time to listen and she never forgets that you’re a person—not a group of symptoms. She has a great sense of humor and compassion, and an encyclopedic knowledge of medication and treatments. From the first day I walked in, I felt welcomed. Manager Taj Jeanniton is always there when you walk in, with a ready smile and greeting. She keeps the trains running on time and makes a great effort to accommodate your schedule. I highly recommend Beautiful Mind.

I spent weeks looking for a new provider after being abruptly left off of all my medications by my previous one after years in treatment. Not only was Dr. Jeanniton extremely caring and upfront about how she does things, she made me feel at ease almost instantly after my nerves were frazzled. I’d highly recommend you check her out, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Also, no massive appointment waiting time like most places either, was seen in about a week from my first call. Excellent all around!!!

This is an amazing and positive environment! The staff is incredibly kind and will greet you with a smile every time you come in. They all genuinely seem to care and the office has a very refreshing and home-like appearance. As long as youre patient and respectful, the appointment with the doctor is definitely worth it :)

I went to my first appointment with The PNP who was kind, empathetic, and very knowledgeable. I sought her out because I moved and just needed a new prescriber. But I left feeling duped. I was told at the end of my appointment that they “don’t prescribe” one of my medications (I’ve been on for at least 10 years) but that she would wean me off it. I went to pharmacy to pick up my meds and she did not write the script for that one medication. I called the doctors office and was told they will not write the script but to come back in a week to discuss. Needless to say I’m not going back.

Honestly, Ive been coming here for over a year and I have never been disappointed with the service. My interactions with the doctor and the other nurse practitioners have always been wonderful and uplifting compared to every day life. The staff has even gone as far as offering me snacks when I informed them of how long my day was and how I had not had a chance to eat! Finding a new doctor is easy but its very difficult to find people so positive and kind.

I went to see Charlotte Mcguire and am currently on medication that i cannot go off of suddenly. She did my past history with me and she was going to consult with the head Dr in charge. I waited for a callback and even gave them until the next day and never received a call. She told me she would call me in a couple hours and never did. I knew more about medication than she does. I highly do not recommend this place!

Ive known this provider for a very long time. She is well-liked, very honest, sometimes brutally honest but a heart of gold. Dr. Jeanniton is very passionate at what she does and that makes her quite exceptional. I highly recommend her services.

I saw Charlotte Maguire for 3 sessions. I was open & honest. She made assumptions and conclusions about me that were untrue and unsubstantiated! Because I wished to participate in my medication management she stated she was unable to treat me and said that if I disagreed to make an appointment with Jeanniton. I feel betrayed and angry. This woman also canceled several appointment for no reason. Not some place I’d open up at!

I have not had luck here. I was prescribed a medicine that requires insurance approval. Cvs kept sending the authorization forms over at a rate of once a day, every day. I called repeatedly, trying to get them to check their fax. They told me to resend the qpproval. After telling them the information was there one more time (a week had gone by), they checked the damn fax and filled out the information. The doctor filled the forms out wrong and the medication approval didn’t go through. I had no trouble getting my needs met elsewhere. I’ve been taken in very late for appointments and have shown up for one appointment just to find that they had never put it into the system...

Wonderful team that really cares for their patients. Dr Jeanniton is extremely knowledgeable and most importantly relatable. I would recommend to anyone looking for a professional, comfortable and warm treatment environment!

I was recently seen during the day for an intake with the idea that I would be seeing a therapist on 2/11 @ 6:30. I received a phone call today letting me know that there are no longer going to be any openings after 6:00. I work until 6:00 so the 5:30 appt that was offered to me does not work. I asked to be refunded my deductible $25 as I now have to look elsewhere. The only reason I chose the office was due to the late openings. I was basically swindled out of my time and money.
