This place is clean, convenient, wonderful staff, the prices are outrageous. I tend to spend way too much, but this place breaks my bank, if I allow it. I would suggest maybe a few more bins of affordable ($1-$5) toys, to attract clientele, who in turn will shop for other needs, because theyre in the building. I was looking for a ferret cage platform replacement, and the only option was to buy a whole new cage for over$100. The small animal back pack carriers (1 option) and pet play pens are twice the cost than that if Amazon, which delivers to your door. I wish I could fulfill more of my pet needs at this store, as the customer service is unbeatable!

Lindsay, who is our dog Daisys groomer, is friendly, caring, n does an amazing job with Daisys grooming. Daisy loved her n everyone here. She absolutely loves coming here for we call Daisy Spa Day!! She practically runs right to the doors to the spa. When its time to pick her up she doesnt want to leave bc she absolutely enjoys being here to relax n mingle with the other groomers n dogs. Thank you to all the groomers n Lindsay a big thank you Daisy cant wait to see you all again soon!!!🤗🐶❤️

A great place to shop for all your pets needs. They have a terrific selection of items and reasonably priced. They always seem to have a great offer on their wide selection of treats. The Staff is friendly and youre always greeted with a smile.

Saw two freed crickets in the dogs bedding section, tried to get my dog to sniff them, effervescent.

We went to buy parakeets here. The overall experience was very good. The Staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions including kids questions with patience. They gave us helpful tips to make our parakeets comfortable in their new home including tips for the right cage, food, toys and other essentials we will need to bet started. It was nice to see that they knew a lot about parakeets. The store manager was great since we were debating on the size of the cage based on the recommendations and may have needed to switch our order. Overall very good experience.

Nice, clean store, but finding bird food was challenging. It seemed like every aisle was either Cats on one side and Dogs on the other. I had to ask an employee not that it was difficult. Employees were friendly and helpful. The prices always seem high to me, but then again everything is now a days.

This store almost always has what I need. All the associates are friendly and helpful, so kudos to management as it all starts at the top.I prepaid online so the pickup was quick and hassle free. There is always ample parking g and the store is very Clean!It feels better to support locally rather than adding to the Amazon behemoth.

I took my Maltese to Petsmart RSM for a grooming. I went here for convenience but will not make that mistake again.I dropped my dog off at 12:30pm and called them at 4:30pm to check on status. Ive never had a groomer take 4 hours to groom my 10-lb Maltese who was not matted and had short hair.When I picked my dog up, he had dried poop on his butt, and his ears were cut completely unevenly.The girl checking me out had to clean my dog up and even out his hair.He didnt look very clean and they shaved him. He had botchy spots all over like the groomer was in a hurry (after 4 hrs!??)I do not recommend taking your dog here for grooming.Unfriendly service and terrible quality.

They took great care of their hamsters, and some cages even had plastic wheels as opposed to the dangerous metal runners. They had more bedding than other pet stores too. Overall very pleased with experience here.

Hopefully this was a one time issue. I made a purchase and selected curb side pick up. Upon arrival I checked in via the app. About 10 minutes in I checked on the status and it still showed they were working on it. Even though I had already received the your order is ready email before leaving my house. After another 10 minutes I ended up calling the store and they walked the order out after about 30 seconds.

Its ok, higher price but definitely have what you looking for... 90% of time.

Jill the manager refused to sell over $100 of items to me unless I would fully cover with the mask - despite the fact I told her they cause me physical problems. I was willing to hold it over my face so I could half breath & they have plexiglass. I didn’t have to disclose the issues but I did. She literally said “I don’t care”.Well I care about my life and I’m never shopping at PetSmart again. She ran away like a cockroach when I got out my video.#NoMaskMandateInOC

Upon entering the RSM PetSmart one finds a warm atmosphere, the staff are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The shelves are organized, neat, clean along with the floor. Id highly recommend them.

Really need to step up customer assistance in Isles .... Had to go all the way up to the register to ask a question and even then just stayed there and didnt offer to go back to products on shelf to assist ???

Good place 4 large bags of high end dog food; although the suppliers have continually shrunk the bag size and raised the prices. It is expensive now to own a dog if you dont want to feed them crappy food. Target starting selling some high end food too and actually have way better pricing on the smaller bags of food (50%) less. If you are shopping around check them out.

Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable on products. Today is super exciting because its friends and family time with discounts. Only 2x a year! Stock up time.I gave 4 stars cause they didnt have Authority chicken indoor for cats in the size I usually get, not carrying that size any longer.

PetSmart has been cited multiple times for animal cruelty neglect involving their small animals. As well, many owners simply bringing their fur family for grooming or veterinary services have never come back. This store too is a model of the corporate apathy, you can read it on the employees faces.If you really do love animals, please dont shop at stores that needlessly confine small animals for sale, and always support local pet shops!

If you need something for your pet this is the place to go. They have 5 double sided aisles just for dog food, dog treats, etc. An amazing selection. Also, additional services such as grooming and training are available.

Vet services are always overbooked. I call at off hours and still get put on hold multiple times. Even when I make an appointment in the middle of the day I stand around waiting for service for 5-20 minutes. During peak hours it can be 30+. The Vet staff seems nice enough but they always appear rushed and overwhelmed. It makes me concerned that they may overlook something in their hurry.If you can work with the extra drive time, the PetSmart in Foothill Ranch seems to be run better or are not as busy. I feel I can drive there and back in less time then it takes to wait at RSM.The rest of the store is 5 star. Ive had great experiences with the sales and grooming staff. Since the different departments arent broken out I can’t rate them separately.

Wife took the dog in for grooming, he came home wreaking of a strong perfume. I cant go near the dog even after washing him 3 more times. This is so unacceptable I have no words to describe my outrage and illness due to the severe allergic reaction.If I end up in the ER, I will tell my insurance provider why.They did it again! They seem unable to follow instructions!

Location: PetSmart, Rancho Santa Margarita, CAActivity: MoJ taken for bath, grooming, teeth cleaning, nail trimming.Incident: Lacerations of paws from extremetly sharp edges inside holding cages. Grooming staff took MoJ to the on site veterinary facility, Banfield Pet Hospital where she was treated for the lacerations.Concern: Lack of Petsmart appreciation of the dangers associated with the holding cages. I received verbal acknowledgement that paw lacerations have occurred previously from these cages, witnessed by several customers and veterinary staff. Lack of a call regarding the injuries sustained while MoJ was in their care. The call received was to let us know that MoJ was done and could now be picked up. Complete lack of grooming area supervisor to explain the occurrance.Suggestion: Take a look and carefully feel inside the front sides of the holding cages at PetSmart. NOW YOU DECIDE IF YOUR DOG IS IN SAFE HANDS AT PETSMART.
