Don and his team are outstanding! My home was on the market for almost a year due to the incompetency and tactics of the prior agent who happened to be my soon to be ex-wifes real estate partner! Don Mowery was an amazing professional throughout the process, from start to finish. His initial consultation helped to determine an estimated market value to allow us to get an idea of what the net proceeds of our house sale might be. We had some improvements that were necessary before the house could be put on the market. Don connected us with his handyman, Joe, who assessed the house and worked with Don to determine the “must do’s” that would be most beneficial for the sale. Don had the improvements and repairs funded through the escrow so that no out of pocket costs were incurred by us. This was a great relief since we were still in the middle of divorce proceedings when we contracted with Don to handle the sale.The house looked amazing when it was placed on the market. We recently sold our home and purchased our dream home. Our agent, Megann Centeno, was able to get us top dollar for our home and negotiate an amazing deal for our new home. We did encounter a hiccup when selling our home. The bank’s appraisal for the buyer came in below the purchase price. If it wasn’t for the Mowery Group’s broker, Don Mowery, we would have lost over $9,000. With his years of experience as an appraiser, he was able to successfully rebut the appraisal, which many people know is not any easy task. My husband and I highly recommend the Mowery Group. We were always kept informed and they saved us $9,000.

Once my realtor was to receive a double commission for the buyer and seller agent she no longer represented me and threw me under the bus. It was a total disaster and I ended up being rushed to sign documents that ended up costing me thousands of dollars so she could hurry up and get her big commission. These realtors are suppose to be experts and tell you all your options. Next time I will be retaining a real estate lawyer to look over all paper work so I do not get screwed. Lies Lies and more lies.

Pro:-Don Mowery has a good sense of market value, and works with a good handyman (Joe Conver of BMI construction management in Fontana) to make repairs or upgrades prior to putting the house on the market, and during escrow.-Sales brochures are professional and attractive.-A good amount of open houses are scheduled.Con:-After listing, communication is usually limited to items that move the listing closer to final sale. Do not expect a high level of client service.-The Mowery Group likes to use their broker owned escrow company (New Destinations Escrow) in the listing agreement. However, they charge premium rates, and do not provide good service. For instance, an estimate of buyer and seller closing costs was not provided until the day before escrow closed. Use an independent escrow company instead.
