My home was damaged in a house fire and all of my pool equipment was destroyed when a wall fell on top of it. I researched a few local contractors in the area and chose Quality Pool Care to do the work. The owner seemed very knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail. He really helped put my mind at ease with his attention to detail and professionalism. Anytime there was an issue he would call the insurance company for me and would get things resolved. The equipment looks great. I cant thank them enough for helping me put my home back together.

We just fired this company on July 26, 2021, after only two months of service. They are certainly the worst pool maintenance company we have ever dealt with. Before I explain the reasons, I think that its important to point out that whenever someone leaves negative feedback on this company, the owner, Tim, tries to either slander the individual, or simply deny that they were a customer. Thats really bad business.Anyway, here are the reasons why we fired them:1. After coming out to clean our pool, I confronted Carin about the green algae that could clearly be seen. Carins answer was that they do not brush the algae from the bottom of the pool floor. Instead, she said that this was the job of the automatic pool vacuum cleaner. That was quite an interesting answer considering you could clearly see algae on the walls of the pool, which confirmed that she didnt even bother to brush the walls properly. On another visit, we tested the chlorine level which registered at zero. When communicating this fact to Carin, her response was that if she hadnt added chlorine, the pool would be green with algae. The reason there was no algae was because we had added our own algaecide, along with having to brush the pool ourselves.2. We were sent a letter stating that all their customers were required to pay $155 every spring and summer for what they called a Summer/Spring Treatment Service. They described part of the service as including a Conditioning and Mineral Booster to fight Algae. Furthermore, the letter read, If your pool develops an Algae Bloom, Abatement Treatments are an additional $75. I have two problems with this mandatory service. First of all, they dont bother to brush the algae off the walls of the pool, but they want you to pay an additional $155 to $230 to treat the algae. Secondly, the cost of these treatments increases the total annual cost of their service by anywhere from 23.5% to 35%. They never told me anything about these additional charges when I signed up, which is not a good business practice.3. Our pool electrical panel went out, so I was happy to find out that the owner, Tim, said that he could fix it. He replaced the panel and I immediately paid him the agreed $1,200 bill. Unfortunately, he left it with nothing working the way it should. That is, the buttons on the app were messed up. Specifically, things like the grotto light would turn on with the pool pump and the regular pool lights would not display the color wheel options. His answer was to state that the prior pool repairman had miswired the board. That made no sense at all considering that everything had worked properly prior to him replacing the board. I then had to spend the next two weeks chasing him down in order to get the problem fixed. Each time I communicated with him, he would brag about being an expert on pool equipment, which is why he knew that the prior pool repairman didnt know what he was doing. Thats interesting considering that it took him two visits, plus an unknown number of remote connections in order to fix the problem. On the final fix, I personally witnessed him correct a wiring problem by crossing two connectors. This is not the work of someone who is an expert on pool equipment.

I contacted this company when we moved into our new home. Spoke with Carin, the office manager, and she is just the friendliest. Her people skills are what sold me. From the first minute she treated me like family. We scheduled a consultation with Tim, the owner, for a quote. He is just as personable. Very knowledgeable about the equipment and answered all my questions. They are priced very fair. They send emails and text to keep you updated and informed, which is great. Carin is the one who comes weekly to service our pool and I just love her. She goes above and beyond. Carin even fixed my gate when some of the screws were loose. I mean, who does that??!!! We have built a great rapport. We chat about life and everything when we can. They are more than just “our pool people”!!!

Quality Pool Care has been taking care of our pool service for many years now. Ive been most pleased with how pristine our pool looks every week. My husband and I recently had our old equipment replaced with a more energy efficient system. All I know is, I can now turn my spa on with my phone from anywhere in the house...lol. Tim really went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend their services.

Sent us a very cold email saying they will not service our pool anymore. No explanation, no warning, no reason. Bills are paid on time all the time. Asked for an explanation and got crickets.

Tim Bermudez of Quality Pool Care is not a reputable professional. I asked to have the spa heater fixed on numerous occasions and it was never follow up on in a timely manner. He makes a lot of commitments and promises but doesnt deliver on any of them... There are much better services in the market that you should consider before contacting Quality Pool Care.

Even though it seems like it takes 3 -4 time to fix things I just wanted to leave a review I ont think he deserves all the 1stars. after we tried a few pool guys he is the cheapest we had and wont charge us for all the comebacks. He is nice but he seems to talk lot about his personal life and ask alot of personal questions. he is the best for the price so we just wont be here when he comes.

Tim Bermudez is a BIG joke, Beware of this con artist!!!Very poor service, doesnt know what he is doing.. .such a shame. AVOID AVOID!!! Double charged my account in several occasions. I advise everyone to join me to file a report @ Better Business Bureau.Also, he claimed that I like his service & he made my pool in prestine condition?? Oh boy Tim...told you to stop snorting those chlorine tablets....I never like his service, he suck from DAY 1, .

This company is garbage. Tim Bermudez doesnt know what hes doing. I was sceptical when I arrived home and he was watching YouTube videos on how to clean a pump impeller. He doesnt even communicate effectively unless its with the woman of the household. If you wanna keep your pool clean and your family together I would recommend going and finding someone outside home depot and show them a couple YouTube videos before you consider hiring this fly by nighter who will leave your pool looking like a sinkhole filled with fracking fluid. Tim Bermudez, owner & only employees was after a few months was discovered to be incompetent & untrustworthy. Its been over 2 months now & my spa heater still doesnt work properly after this much time?

We have worked with quality pool care since we bought our home in 2015. Anytime there has been an issue with our pool, they are very prompt to help fix the issue. We have a tree on the outside of our home that always causes problems. They fixed the issue and haven’t had any problems since Carin has been working so hard on our pool!
