The human resource manager lies to employees during the interview then intimidate them to waive meal breaks promising free food and family style dinners with the residents. Reality...no time to eat with them, not enough chairs to sit at and residents hit employees, other employees steal from your personal belongings. She made the job sound like it was a great place to work when in reality theyre understaffed because they only pay minimum wage. The end up having to pay overtime all the time because they cant keep employees when it would be so much better that if you just paid them $13 an hour youd have better employees theyd stick around longer and you wouldnt ever need to pay anybody over time. Rock Creek gives their parent company ResCare a bad name as far as I am concerned.
