This salon is the best place I ever gone to get my hair dyed. Desiree and Merrida both worked on my hair and they took really good care of it. They make sure your hair or scalp dont get damaged when bleaching it. They treat you like family. Make sure to get there early morning cause they take their time with your hair. I will be coming to this place from now on to dye my hair.

I have been going to the Next Level for years. Its by far the best shop I have ever been to!!!! All of the Stylist and Barbers are very polite. Its like a family. Every time I go get my hair done weather is a weave, flat iron, braids, a facial, or make up I am always 100% satisfied. Not to mention you can by professional hair care products so if your in between visits you can use the same products that your stylist. I would recommend this salon to not only African American women but women of all nationalities and men also.

I would 110 % recommend coming to this salon everyone is amazingly friendly and are so good at what they do! The day of my wedding my stylist disappeared I was stuck with a couple hours til my wedding and no hair or make-up .I had never been here but called and told my situation and even though everyone was busy with clients I was told to come on in. My hair and make-up was so amazing I couldnt believe it and in such short amount of time. this salon made it happen they saved my wedding day .if you want to try a new salon try this one guarantee youll stay with them!

I live in Denver, Colorado and whenever I am in California I make it a point to stop in and get a haircut at the Next Level Salon. Everyone there is as nice as can be and the manager keeps the salon as clean as can be. I would recommend this salon to anyone no matter the gender or race.

Really did put time and effort in my hair. I came in looking like a mess because I decided to bleach it myself. Absolutely love Tanya and her mom, they were great to me and kept an eye on my hair constantly to make sure it came out right.

I came in with my daughter so she could get a hair cut at about 4:30pm and they close at 7. Merrida not only took her time with my daughter but she made us feel like family.The hair cut and wash where great,her attitude was great,service was great,the establishment was clean and inviting. She took the time to show my daughter style options with her hair and products she could use.We live in Reche canyon but will definitely be making the drive to Next Level salon from now on to get my daughters hair done. The prices where Fair as well.Thank you for keeping your establishment professional and inviting Merrida .

Someone named Mr Johnson did my hair. (He wouldnt give me his first name. Just after he started my cut, he received a phone call and excused himself. As he proceeded to go outside for his call, I thought, okay we all have emergencies at times, he wasnt gone more than a few minutes but when he came in he proceeded to cut my hair while talking on the phone! How rude! I should have gotten up and left, not sure why I didnt. I seemed that he had a Big buddy with him who acted like he was the next client. I felt a bit intimidated. The cut wasnt wasnt even and had bits that were missed. I had him redo part of it but it just wasnt happening. When finished he asked for $25. For some reason I felt like Id better give him what he wanted. I am not satisfied and will NEVER go back to this establishment again. If I could give zero stars, I would!

Nice shop bad cuts. Gotta say, after paying $33 for my sons cut and my cut Id expect something good. Instead I still got stray hairs on my line up and on the back of my neck. my edge up is totally jacked up, it looks like a 5 year old cut me. WORST OF ALL, my sons edge up came with CUTS. he has scabs now on his forehead because of this shop. I can not recommend this spot to anyone. I say steer clear

Hair stylist, Merrida is always on time and professional. Does a fantastic job with my hair.

This would be 5 stars but theres a barber who cuts hair high. I dont agree with having to do precision work with an object thats sharp(he uses straight razors to line you up and is heavy handed) while high.

I 100% recommend this salon. Ive been going to Next Level for years and I have always come out of the shop looking and feeling like a million dollars! I wont let any one touch my hair accept Mrs. Douglas and Tanya. I live in Northern California and I fly down every time I need to get my hair done for an event. Next level IS that good!From styles like Beyonce to Riannah as well as Mens hair, braids and fades. They do it all.I used their head stylist and owner Merrida Douglas to style me and my bridal partys hair. She and her team did an amazing job!I highly recommend her!

Worst salon Ive ever been to. An Incredibly young moron named moena did my hair, and severely burned and damaged my hair and scalp. My scalp was covered in chemical burns, oozing sores and pustules, and my hair was falling out. I tried to call and complain, but the workers were very rude and would ignore me. They would tell me that the manager wasnt in the salon, but they would never give her any of my messages. It took me 2 weeks to get a hold of the manager, and she was equally rude! She treated me as if it was my fault, she was very insulting, and refused to give me a refund. Even after I showed her pictures of the damages on my scalp and hair, she still treated me as if I was lying. Stay far away from this place. The manager is a lying crook, and moena/monia, whatever her name is, is a complete idiot! She shouldnt even have a cosmetology license!

My husband went to get his haircut. The barber stabbed himself with the scissors, messed up his hair so bad that he had to cut it completely off! My husband has been growing his hair out for awhile and usually goes to a real barber but decided to give this place a chance because of its location. Worst choice ever! And he paid 20 freakin dollars for the cut. Not worth any of that. If youre looking for a real barber this is not the place!
