This is a belated review. I visited this place twice in late 2018 for simple haircuts. It was done by 2 different people and it was so so so bad both times. I knew exactly what I wanted and even had a picture of me from my previous haircuts. I let them check the pictures several times during the haircut as well. First of all, they were really slow and looked scared during the session. Its not like I have a crazy hair style! The end result was a joke. It was not just very different from the picture. The hair length on both sides did not match. You could clearly see that one side of hair line is much higher than the other. It was so bad that I had to trim it by myself at home. Both times!! They want to be an fancy upscale mens salon with drinks and nice and hot steam towels, but they lack of simple haircut skills. I dont go to this place anymore and just wanted to let it go. However, my friends had many issues with this place on their recent visits in regards to quality of haircut and scheduling. So I want people know to what to expect from this place.

Clean, professional mens salon. Friendly staff, always offer complimentary beverages, neck/shoulder massage and great haircut. Nice relaxing way to spend a an hour. Highly recommend giving them a try.

They do a great job here. Better than 2% in my opinion

So sad. My boyfriend had been growing out his hair for months, I decided I’d treat him for a haircut. Boy was I wrong.... the lady that cut his hair completely messed it up and it ended up with his hair being completely shaved off. So disappointed. She was kinda rude and wasn’t even helpful in the beginning. I wouldn’t recommend this person to someone else. They gave a refund but that’s not going to make someone’s hair grow back fast.

I had a great cut with Aprille. I went in with my overgrown pandemic hair and she brought it down with a good trim which still kept some good length. Looking forward to the next cut and would recommend Aprille and 18/8 staff.

Have been going here for the past year and ant say enough great things about this place. The hospitality, the comfortable atmosphere, the warm greetings when you enter the establishment by Vanessa. You also get the sense of not being rushed like other barber shops. Here you can relax have a few beers, wine or whats on tap that day before your haircut. And when you get your haircut, I highly recommend asking for Martha. She is very knowledgeable and caters to what you need. She is very professional and makes sure you are satisfied with your hairstyle. It also helps that she make sure your frozen beer mug is always full 😀. The prices are very competitive but you get what you pay for here

A little expensive but worth the price

Very basic hair cut for $50. Nothing was offered for my full beard. No product offered, no addition services, nothing to make this a more than basic experience. I had to ask for a beard line up and trim, but again very basic. There is absolutely nothing “fine” about the haircut or experience at this place. If you want to overpay for a basic haircut just to get a free beer you may like this place. Also no straight razors are used to shave the back of your neck, leaving you with burns from the clippers. No hot towel was used or offered for the burning not even some aftershave. I had to go home and fix the blending of my beard as it was left poorly done. I wish I could give negative stars and speak to the owner of this please. What a joke of an establishment.

TERRIBLE!!!!!! Dont bother. Thier motto of fine mens salon is anything but fine. I called to schedule an appointment which they scheduled for 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Stephanie from the salon called me about 1:00 on Sunday and asked if I could be there at 1:15 because they were busy. I told them I would do my best and arrived at 1:21. They told me that they apologize but could not provide service because I was late for an appointment time I never had. They said once they called me that they changed my appt to 1:15 and I was now late. Absolutely terrible customer service. When I said I just talked to you twenty minutes ago and I would do my best but made no guarantees, they said that once they changed the time it doesnt matter. I would avoid this place and go somewhere where they value your time and business.

Much better than the alternatives in the area! Been happy with the quality of the haircut and great customer service. The drinks and snacks they have are a nice bonus!

The woman from OC should not be cutting mens hair. Haircut is oddly shaped and does not suite the texture of my hair. Told her exactly what I wanted/what has been working for me, and she insisted on doing the opposite.My advice: less talking, more listening to your clients needs.
