We hired HomeCraft to install 3 windows and an entry door in our Chapel Hill condo. Upon arrival of the doors and windows, I realized we had rot around all three windows so we delayed the window install until structual repairs could be made. Tony and his crew did install the entry door. After tearing out the existing door we realized there was foundation settlement on one side of the door opening. Tony had extensive experience in residential framing and knew exactly how to make the needed adjustments. The door was beautifully installed with a consistent reveal between the door and frame. Tonys crew was polite and kept the jobsite clean at all times. I highly recommend HomeCraft for your door and window needs. I will update the review once the windows are installed.

I had a great experience with this company. I absolutely love the windows they installed at my house and some of the safety features of the windows are my most favorite things. Imagine being able to leave your windows opened all night without having to worry about somebody being able to raise them enough to enter your house. They installed a beautiful french door off my living room and Im thoroughly pleased about that. I love my sliding kitchen window that I can now open without having to use a step stool (Im a little short). One last thing I love about my windows is that I chose the pane-less windows and I love the open look that they give. They looked so beautiful from the outside that I decided not to put my old shutters back on to give my house a more modern appearance.

Very dishonored and rude people! We had a young sales representative came to our home. He was very nice and did measurements on all the windows and demonstrated different lines of product and explained in details of services, spending almost two hours. At the end we decided replacing ten of our windows and signed the contract and cut the check for half of the amount as deposit. I received the contract through the email and noticed four of the windows missing the specified color. I called back to their office right away and was told sales representative will call me back. Second day it was different sales representative who sounds more senior. To my surprise, instead of addressing the contract he told me that their system has some technical issues and they have to bump up $247 on each window for all 10 windows, and he wanted schedule another 90 minutes time with me to go through the contract. I told him I didnt want to spend another 90 minutes just going through the price increase and I simply wanted to straight out the contract both sides signed and agree to. He said they wont do the job as quoted. I asked him if they would want to honor their contract and he became very rude saying they dont want to business with me and dont want listen a word from me and then hung up on me. First time seen people doing business like this!

We had a great experience! Our initial estimate was easy, well-explained and didnt feel salesey, and the follow up between the estimate and installation was frequent. The installation itself was so much better than we expected. The installers were quick but thorough, and left our house cleaner than they found it. Seriously - they swept off our porch and vacuumed our living room when it was all done! We dont have enough good things to say about this company, and we love our new windows!

We were very selective about replacement windows for our mid-century home. After reviewing several products / companies we selected HomeCraft to install a full replacement package ( 21 windows ).My wife and I were very pleased with the entire process from the experience with the sales representative ( Chris ) through the performance of the installation team ( Tony, Frank, and Alan ) we were provided several options and an exceptionally high quality installation.Equally important, all HomeCraft staff were respectful, professional, and extremely efficient / proficient.It is amazing how these windows have improved the appearance, acoustics, and energy-efficiency of our home.

I did not have a positive experience with this company at all. We are in the market for a new front door. One week ago we spent 90 minutes with the sales representative. After choosing a door and getting the estimate we said this was our first look but would like to keep the information to consider. The sales representative said he would email it right away. A couple of days went by and no email. I called the office number thinking there may be an email problem and left a message. The next day the office called to check on our visit and I explained that I did not get any information on the door we picked out. The caller said she would get right back to us. A representative did call back that day but I could not take the call. He said that he would be there until 5 and give him a call back or he would call me the next day. I did call back before 5 and left a message with an office person that I was returning their call . She would pass on the message and still no phone call or email from the company.Not the way to make a good impression and gain my trust.

The two guys that came out were always at our house the same time each morning(8am) and ready to work. They asked our opinion about the work they had already completed. They were very polite and worked really fast and was very knowledgeable about installing windows.

Great sales staff and installation team. Project went smooth with no problems. I highly recommend this company for window repair or replacement. My windows look fantastic!

This is my second visit with Homecraft Window store out of Raleigh,and again it has been a wonderful experience. Nick was my sales person; he has great work ethics, professional, and gave me a nice reasonable discount. All the people there from Kirsten, Caitlyn, Mike,, Kelsey, Tony, Allen and Jack performed their jobs over and beyond. This is a great company, and they do so much to help the customer. I am so pleased with everything and wonder how I ever survived so well without all my beautiful windows!Thanks again to everybody up there for providing me with superb service. From estimate to installation we are very pleased with the results. We would definitely use HomeCraft Windows for any future remodel projects.

The sales team and installation team were professional and provided a great product and service. Nick helped us determine which windows would work for the end result we wanted. He spend several hours with us to measure each window (2 replacement, 9 expanded windows and 5 new openings) and then also helped with financing so we could pay it off soon after the project was done.Darren then came to review and confirm the order. He was involved in the whole process and was available for questions and concerns. He also helped coordinate an electrician the next day when construction was started (Thanks Jason!) He will continue to answer questions now that the job is complete.The installation team could not have been better. Kelsey has tons of experience which shows with his craftsmanship and efficiency. Brandon worked on our drywall finishing and they were done sooner than expected. Great team. They take pride in their work. So glad we got them.Windows are great. Lifetime warranty. Vinyl, but Im able to paint them black. HUGE improvement to the house. So glad we chose this company.

Great place for windows and bath remodels.

Recently my wife and I spoke with Dan at the fairgrounds HomeCraft booth. At the time we were still in the DD period of our home but knew that window replacement was something needed after closing. Dan completely understood our situation and was very informative at giving us some basic info while understanding our situation and that not many details were available yet. After closing we met with Nick one evening to discuss in more detail. We had a great experience with Nick, we had already met with several other companies sales reps. Nick was very knowledgeable and thorough during his measurement and walk-around. He even pointed out a few items that the other companies had missed. Typical items for a 20+ year old house that weren’t initially quoted but would have been add-ons once the initial deposit cashed, work underway and too late to turn around. He was also the only rep that was updated with the recent code requirements and recommendations. It certainly wasn’t the average estimate/sales appointment that we had previously experienced with the other companies and we appreciated that. Nick diligently brainstormed several layout scenarios and options to figure out how to reach our budget. We are too early in the process to schedule our install yet but plan to update once that is completed. If anyone is looking to discuss window replacement options, we would highly recommend that they set-up a meeting with Nick.

Great company, great product, great reps and culture!

We just had this company install a difficult bay window system. The large window and transom were no problem for the installers. The cladding with aluminum over the entire system was a challenge.The installation team did an excellent job. Nick, the sales person, was very effective, the office people were as well.I had three quotes for three different methods to handle the rotten wood on, below and around the windows. Home craft was the high bid, but the one we were most confident would solve the problem permanently. Job well done!

We had just moved here from Wisconsin and the house we purchased had a failing french door. Tom Duffy came out to access our situation and give us an estimate to replace the door with a sliding glass patio door. We had been running late that day for our 2P appointment and Tom arrived as we were unloading groceries from the car. Tom helped us carry in groceries and was gracious regarding our tardiness. He proceeded to be polite and educated us on the Home Craft process and policies. We look forward to our new Slocomb unit and continued long term warranty coverage from Home Craft. Thank you Tom!

Recently replaced three windows and a sliding glass door in our house. Herb the sales guy was great, Michael the owner was helpful in answering my questions when a small issue arose with the door install (just a remodel issue not anyones fault), and the install team run by Andres Ramirez was wonderful. Andres went above and beyond with trimming out the area around our sliding glass door which was an unexpected issue. Price was fair, I couldnt believe how much work went into changing out windows. Will definitely be using Homecraft and Andres to finish replacing the rest of the windows in our house in the near future.

I tried to get a quote to replace one window. As we were scheduling the appointment for an in-home quote, the salesperson asked if I was married, then insisted on my husband being home for the quote. I explained that my husband was unavailable, and that I handled all home renovations and repairs. They insisted that “both decision-makers be present” while I explained that I was the decision-maker on this project. They refused to come to my house to give me a quote when I repeated that my husband would not join us. They told me their policy may sound dated, but they would not budge on that requirement. Yes, that is indeed a dated policy. I later spoke with the manager, who did not deny this policy, and his resolution was to give me the quote over the phone. I will not be doing business with a company that refuses to work with me without my husband present.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I asked for a large job to be quoted. The sales manager came out and told me that if I didnt sign a contract/commitnent on the spot, then my price would go up by at least 30%. He stated that his time was too valuable and that if he had to come back out for measurements then that is why my price would increase. I told him that I dont do business that way and now his time was totally wasted. I will never consider this company again.I just received a reply from Homecraft on 11//19. They asked me if I was confusing them for another company..... . NO WAY! I was under contract to purchase the home (as a flip). Still under due diligence. That was communicated to the so called sales manager. So there was NO way that I was going to sign a commitment for $35000 worth of custom windows until I was committed to purchasing the home. This is what made the encounter SO disturbing. The so called sales manager walked away since I wouldnt commit on the spot.

Had a cracked window during the cold weather, called HomeCraft and they returned my call with an appt to come out in 5 minutes! They stated the window will be replaced ASAP no matter what the issue was, EXCELLENT customer service!

Tom Duffy came out for a windows replacement appointment and thoroughly explained our options and the contract. We were happy with his service and look forward to our windows replacements
