Both of my children go to Mathnasium-Wakefield for help with algebra. The assessment process was thorough and we received detailed feedback on our childrens areas of strength and weakness. My children attend twice a week and have received the help they need to better understand algebra.

MY son has been a student of Wes and his team for the past 3 years. Getting good grades and feeling better about himself has encouraged him to take on harder classes in math AND other disciplines. Wes and his team are great, my son enjoyed every single tutor he had these past 3 years. in addition, I appreciate the high standards Wes and his team hold themselves to and their formidable flexibility and understanding.

My son has learning disabilities and I was looking for someplace that could help him “ catch up” on skills that he was deficient in. I am so happy I gave Mathnasium a chance. Mr. Wes was so helpful in helping me to even decide if they could help my son. He paired my son with the most wonderful tutor, Miss McKenna. She understands how my son learns, she’s patient and kind and always has a smile on. Plus she is always congratulating my son on his triumphs and encouraging him when it’s a little tough. I CANNOT say enough good things about Wakefield Mathnasium. They have helped my son tremendously and we look forward as we continue our journey with them.

My son found an instructor that he connected with and he enjoys being around. Its an easy place for my son to make friends as well. I understand that its going to take at least 6 months to bring him up to speed, so price matters to me. So, I was thrilled to find a tutoring center that meets my buget and I feel very safe with the instructors. J has improved 50% his first month!!!So happy to have found Wesley & Bert with a sea of instructors, Mathnasium is our Oasis!!

This has been a fantastic place for our 15 year old. We used to try to help her ourselves with her math and it was like pulling hair out. So worth it to have a place to take her that can help her (a lot better than us). She seems to enjoy going there as much as a 15 yr old girl who doesnt like math could enjoy going. She goes 3 - 4 times a week. They have been great! Highly recommend. The owner is really great at communicating with you and staying in touch.

I have seen a tremendous change in my son’s Math grades. Whereas, he was bringing home consistent F’s on Math assignments and tests, he made his first perfect 100 on a Math test. He now consistently makes A’s and B’s on most assignments (after a only month and a half in the program) and his teacher at school notes that he participates in class and is no longer afraid to ask questions about work in class. Incidentally, this confidence has spilled over into his other subjects and his grades have improved in those areas as well. I have been so grateful to the staff at Mathnasium for helping to immediately identify my son’s problem areas in Math, and give him a plan for plugging in those deficits. He has made friends in the program and loves their fun, incentive-driven community atmosphere. It is a win-win for the parents and the students.

This is a terrific program and we were very happy with it. The tutoring is great and the prices are very reasonable. We will be back when our next son is old enough.

My son Joel started out with Mathnasium of North Raleigh in December 2014 (3rd Grade) with Jeff and his team. My main objective for placing Joel at Mathnasium was to help build his confidence and Math skills. The team at Mathnasium did not hesisate to test Joel to determine his weakness and his strengths. Immediately a plan was put in place to help Joel overcome his weak areas in Math. I have been very pleased with how Joel has overcome his many Math challenges this school year.When Joel 1st started out at Mathnasium he was very shy and not sure of himself. After a couple months of tudoring with Jeff and his team at Mathnasium, I began to see a difference not only in Joels Math scores in class but I was also able to tell a difference in his self esteem which has also been confirmed by his 3rd Grade Teacher. Joel continues to improve his math scores in class throughout this 3rd grade year. I am very confident that Joel will do well today when he takes the EOG.
