I’m one of the students that go to the kumon and the instructor isn’t the best she’s been framing me for not finishing my homework saying I have ripped pages or missing books when she clearly doesn’t add it, we had video evidence and she went silent all she does is scream at me and other children for not under Instead of teaching us what were missing
THIS PLACE SUCKS LAST WEEK I SAW ONE OF MY CHILD GET HURT BECAUSE OF THIS KUMON HE DID ONE THING WRONG. ITS LIKE SHE CANT TEACH A CHILD. I DONT GET IT. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS KUMON!!
I just called to set up assessment for my son and the lady that answered the phone isnt professional at ALL. I told her what day I could bring my son and she said are you sure because someone else can take that spot..I said YES Im sure. See said see you Tuesday at 3. Then I asked how long it would take, just to realize she already hung up the phone. She set the wrong tone, so Im no longer interested. I refuse to pay money for anything when the first person you talk to seems to rush you off the phone and seems short tempered! NEXT!
I like Kumon program. The instructor made the lesson plans for my daughter and asked the feedback about her workload and adjusted whenever needed.my child have moved her levels up quickly which helps her school performance.I am happy with my daughters progress and happy with the experienced instructor.
The center is very convenient but I wasnt happy with the services for my children. First red flag- a misunderstanding in terms of cancelling reading for one child and continuing for another (which I asked for) but instead charging me a month for reading for both. I asked her a or it on the 1st of the month. She could have made this right, but chose instead to take my money. Second red flag was the number of parents complaining about how rude the instructor was. While I have seen it towards others- I cant say she has been rude to me. Third and final red flag was my child turning in 3 reading books he had not even started. I went and asked for the books when they werent in his Kumon bag because I paid for them and I wanted him to complete them. She told me he completed all of his work and I insisted he had not. She went into the trash can pulled out stacks of kids work (math and reading) and found my childs 3 unfinished books and one unfinished math book!!! I asked if they are checked when they are turned in and she said they were. I asked by whom- she said she checks them. I came home and gave my 30 days notice. Pick another center if you really want your child to have kumon! We did and will be driving an extra 20 minutes to get to it.
The teacher is nice, but she does not play around.
