I was impressed by the armata of vehicles that arrived at my house to remove nine trees, four of which were very tall and very close to my house. I also had a limb overhanging my shop removed. I also had three stumps ground. The crew was very efficient and no tree damaged any of our house or large shop. All the work was done in under five hours. There were two rather minor bits of damage done to the property by the work, and Jimmy Everett made good with a discount to cover the cost of repairs. I highly recommend Everett Tree Service for any tree removal job, especially the more difficult jobs!

Jimmys crew got in, got 18+ trees out in a day, got out, and left no mess. They were professional and easy to deal with. My wife and I are both particular and have high expectations and they met/exceeded those. Professional, prompt, and polite- an all-around awesome tree crew to do business with. Kris was our foreman and operated the crane, which he skillfully navigated into our tight, dead-end driveway... a driveway that other companies shied away from. Luis, one of their climbers, took great care rigging the crane to the trees, and was obviously very experienced. The crew was in constant communication with me, ensuring that they had removed or pruned every tree that I was expecting. Some of the trees were out of reach of the crane and overhanging the house... no problem! After all of the action, they also thoroughly cleaned up our yard and ground the stumps. Its hard to tell that we had a full-scale operation going just this morning, except for the new openings from the removed trees.If we need additional tree work in the future, we will definitely call Everett again!

I called about some limbs that needed to be removed and Rick, the arborist, came by within a few hours for an estimate. We discussed the health of other trees and he put me on the books. I was surprised to get a call the very next day about an availability opening. It only took an hour for the crew to cut everything out and clean up. Great company.

Extremely happy with removal of about 30 trees by Everett Tree Service. This is a company of professionals with first rate leadership by their owner, Jimmy, and a team who work together efficiently to get the job done. For my job, Jimmy ran the huge crane that was securely placed to lift the trees as they were cut, so they would not fall and crack the brick retaining wall in front of them. It was so beautifully coordinated and a very interesting show to watch! Trees being lifted with the crane as they are cut, instead of falling was much safer! The team was in place to disconnect the tree from the crane lift and feed it into the chipper. There was someone constantly cleaning up and blowing debris out of the way--safety and keeping my space nice! They are polite, efficient, do the job right, and their price was very good compared to the other company who bid the job. Do not hesitate to use this company. They are really the BEST!

Jim Everett responded quickly, which is valuable when a large, mature pine tree has fallen into your home office. The 50-ton crane arrived early and the crew arrived shortly thereafter. I was amazed at the efficiency, speed and skill they showed. The danger in this work is obvious, but the way Everett’s crew work together, I was never concerned. Plus, they thoroughly cleaned up, down to the last shaving. I can’t recommend Everett more highly or confidently.

I had Everetts remove a fallen 120 foot pine from both mine and my neighbors yard. I contacted Everett Tree Service to request a price quote to remove 7 trees and grind a total of 9 stumps. I received a very fair price quote immediately after an estimator came to the properly location to assess the job. Annette in the office provided good communication for when the job would be performed and confirming the expectations. Nick and his crew came on the date scheduled and completed the job as discussed. I appreciated the quality cleanup job as well as the safety precautions observed by every member of the crew. After I completed debris cleanup, I noticed one stump still slightly above ground. I emailed Jimmy to request the stump be reduced below ground. With no hesitation, Annette called me to tell me that someone would be there the same day to fix the stump. Toby came out and utilized the stump grinder to reduce the existing stump. I just had sod installed and it looks like trees were never there! Thank you Jimmy, Annette, Nick, and the entire team for making our yard more spacious!

In Nov.2019 I had Everett Tree Service remove a total of 13 trees from my property,including a large oak with large branches over my house.They arrived about seven that morning got to work,they put mats on the lawn where they drove their trucks .Rain was forecast for the day and I was worried that they would destroy my yard so I watched them go at it. To make a long story short Everett cut down 9 trees grinded all but two stumps, hauled away all of the wood and were gone from my home by two o’clock when the rain started! They left no ruts or limbs in my yard and cleaned up.A few days later they returned to finish grinding the other stumps in the front yard and cut the remaining trees in my back with the same results. As for price it was worth it and they were two thousand dollars cheaper than on estimate that I got and fifty dollars more than another. After the work was done two of my neighbors used them, and had no complaints either.

I was incredibly pleased with this company. They quoted me a price that was much lower than the price quoted by another leading Raleigh company, they showed up when they said they would, they were careful in the way they cut the limbs and roped them down, successfully cutting down several large trees in a tight space between our house and a neighbors house, they were careful not to damage anything, they were polite, they worked quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. They were truly everything I would have hoped for. Over the years I’ve had a lot of tree work done and these guys were the best I’ve ever worked with.

Everett Tree Service came to my 11-acre property for one day and did an outstanding job. We had not yet landscaped anything so Jimmy Everetts 10-man crew could really work without any obstacles. They brought a big, modern crane, large wood chipper, 2 dump trucks, and Bobcat. While the property is not yet landscaped, they did have to work around our new house, septic field and guest house. They could not just fell the trees. They had to use the crane to cut the trees into pieces while they were standing, to ensure they did not hit the house, well, or crush the septic field. Jimmy Everetts industrial engineering background was evident when watching his crew work. Talk about efficient!. The trees were cut; the crane moved them to a location on the gravel driveway to be cut into pieces; the Bobcat stacked the logs and moved the limbs to the chipper where the Bobcat operator fed the branches into the chipper with his machine, without men needing to touch them. Then the stump grinder followed behind and ground the stumps one after another. The Bobcat loaded the logs into the dump trucks. All this was done carefully, safely, and with complete clean up after they were done. Just a totally professional operation. In one day, they cut down 35-40 trees, most of which were 12 in diameter or larger in, and a handful that were 24 in diameter, and they ground down all the stumps. I could not be more pleased and I feel I got more than my moneys worth. I absolutely will use Everett in the future.

The Everett team was impressive. They removed a number of trees quickly and the only way you could tell they had ever been there was the trees were gone. We have used Everett Tree Service on two occasions, and wouldnt hesitate to use them again. There are other tree services in town that can complete jobs for you, but what distinguishes Everett is their professionalism. Jimmy, the owner, came out to give us an estimate, emailed the estimate soon after, checked in at the job site both times, made sure that the crew and I were on the same page before the work commenced, and emailed an invoice once the work was complete. I so appreciate that after dealing with many contractors that dont show, or take weeks to send estimates, etc.We also liked chatting with him about our plans for the yard and getting his feedback on trees and potential changes to our yard.Our whole family loves to watch the crew work...its amazing how synchronized the team is during the removal and clean up. Everett Tree service responded quickly to my inquiry and the owner came out same day to give me a quote... he was even nice enough to recommend what “not to do” in order to keep my costs down. I was able to quickly schedule my service and they even were able to come out earlier than originally expected! I have fenced in back yard and many other competitors had said they were not able to fit their stump grinder through my fence. Thankfully Everett tree service is equipped with a smaller stump grinder that could fit through my fenced in back yard! The crew that cameras incredibly efficient, polite, and tidy. They completely cleaned up after themselves, even blowing off my back deck and collecting small twigs before leaving the job. We called Everett Tree Service after watching them work at a neighbours house.Our yard is very difficult due to lay of the land. Not at all level. We had 15 trees to remove. 10 very tall pines and 5 bad hardwoods. 2 very tall.Everette brought all needed equipment, including a large crane since trees in front could not be felled. Staffing was efficient and effective for the job. Once equipment was set up the team worked as a cohesive unit. All trees were down by the end of the day. Unfortunately there was a yellow jacket nest inside the last tree and work had to be stopped. Everett made arrangements to come back and finish.My take on this company. Very professional, efficient, on time (actually did our job a day early). The price? The best of all estimates for the equipment used and number of crew.I highly reccomend Everett Tree Service.

EXCELLENT company! Came out promptly and gave detailed, and very reasonable, estimate, including a map showing which trees were being removed and which stumps ground. Then worked with my schedule to get crew out there, crew arrived when they said they would and worked diligently, even negotiated with neighbor over dropping trees in her yard (including removing one of her trees, at no extra charge)! I had Everett Tree Service come out to my home last year for an estimate on removing a large tree from my property. The man was friendly but attempted to convince me to cut down 3 additional trees that were not even on my property. When I said, thats not my property, he replied, Well Im sure your neighbor wouldnt mind if you cut them down. Seriously?A different gentleman from Everett came out several weeks ago for a quote on tree trimming and also tried to convince me to just cut the whole tree down. He was a nice guy, but the unnecessary up-selling is annoying and unprofessional. Oh, and he gave me a verbal quote and then sent me an official quote via email less than 5 minutes later (still sitting in my driveway) that was 10% higher than the quote he had *just* given me. So strange.By the way, the quote in both cases was right around 40% higher than the company I ended up using for my tree cutting and trimming needs.Moral of the story: shop around for quotes from multiple companies and you will likely find that Everett is by far the highest.

I have used Everett Tree Service a few times over the past several years. The energy and exceptional leadership of Jimmy Everett flows down to his employees. They informed me of what to expect ahead of time, showed up on time, and removed two trees quickly and efficiently. The stumps were ground down and covered with mulch so well, it was almost as if the trees had never existed! Recently, I needed some limbs cut to attain a clear TV signal. The team came to my home and did a great job of trimming and removal.

With the recent, seemingly endless, streak of rainy days, we had just been thanking our lucky stars the day before that we hadnt had any flood damage or downed trees. Well, best laid plans so they say.... On 4pm Sunday night, we noticed that one of the beautiful, massive oaks in our backyard had begun uproot and was leaning uncomfortably/dangerously towards our neighbors house. Fortunately, it was stalled from crashing down by a much smaller oak (the little oak that could), but were still left with a potentially house-threatening situation for our neighbors. After a failed attempt to secure the business of an emergency tree service on Sunday night, we gave Everetts Tree Service a ring on Monday morning and Jimmy arrived in lightning-quick fashion with a cadre of skilled guys and a heavy machinery. They were quick, professional, honest and upfront about the estimated costs. The job ended up being WAY tougher than we or Everetts had initially anticipated, but Jimmy and his crew got it done and honored their initial price estimate. They really busted their collective butts despite the crappy weather and enormity of the job. We couldnt have dreamed of a better outcome given the unexpected and potentially disastrous situation we were faced with. There is not enough I can say about Everett Tree Service. We had a very difficult tree removal project which was bidded at an extremely high rate from several tree companies. We were only removing 12 trees, but the access was difficult and the job, as each tree service said, was complicated. Jimmy Everett came to our house and confidently advised us to do his daily rate with the assurance he would remove all the trees he could during that day. We trusted his advice, mainly because he was genuine and made us feel comfortable. He and his crew exceeded all of our expectations. From his crane operator to the men climbing and sawing the trees we received nothing but professionalism. I could not be any happier with the job they did, the clean up, and the end result. I HIGHLY recommend their services and will absolutely refer Everett to everyone I can.

Early this fall we called Everett’s Tree Service. A very large and beloved willow oak (>60 yrs old) a few feet from our front entrance had to come down. We also needed other tree work on the acre of woodlands surrounding our home. We knew that a large crane would be needed to remove the largest trees. We are extremely pleased with Everett’s Tree Service. The service they performed was positively outstanding. Everything was done with utmost efficiency, safety consideration, and respect for our property. To assess the tree situation, Everett sent a highly knowledgeable and helpful urban forester, Andrew, who quickly understood the complexity and scope of our problems. We soon received detailed and reasonable cost proposals.On the designated day, Jimmy Everett with his crew and all necessary equipment arrived at 8:00 am. We had dreaded the undertaking of this tree cutting and removal, as we anticipated at least two days of loud noise and major disruption at our quiet home. That is not what happened. Thanks to the well-planned coordination, all the proper equipment, and the skill and efficiency of every man, almost all the work (including all handling of tree trunks and limbs and even grinding of the largest tree stump) was completed by lunch-time.Watching this team at work seemed almost like an intricately-choreographed ballet. These men were everywhere they needed to be (in trees, on ropes, on the ground, and at the trucks), and all were keenly alert looking out for one another and using proper safety measures. There were many chainsaws, ropes, and various other kinds of equipment; one very large, fast expertly-operated bobcat; and one enormous crane, operated by the owner, Jimmy Everett. In the final cleanup, debris was blown from all paved surfaces. There was no damage to anything. Everett even befriended our two dogs who calmly watched the entire operation.We highly recommend Everett’s Tree Service for their reliability, expertise, and professionalism.
