We could not be more pleased with Matt, both as a person and as an agent. He truly cares about his clients and goes the extra mile to make sure they get the best home at a fair price. He never once tried to encourage us to get something more than what we were looking for or to pay more than what the home was actually worth so that he could get a bigger commission. He took the time to make sure we understood all the different policies and procedures that NC has in place that are so different than any of the other states we’ve bought and sold homes in. He never once made us feel we were intruding when we needed to view homes or go over paperwork at odd hours on account of our work schedules and was always accessible via email and phone, even though we weren’t his only clients. He was a wonder at coordinating all the different inspections we needed in such a short time to beat the due diligence deadline. I am very picky and went through a lot of places in the beginning. Matt always made himself available to show me places and provide me his experienced opinion afterwards. This is an agent that knows a lot about construction. I ended up purchasing an older home which needed some repairs. He wrote for me an excellent repair request and it was accepted as a deduct from my original offer. You cant ask for a better home buying experience. And he is still there for you after the deal is done. Good luck out there but youll need less luck with Matt!
