They had 1 job. Medication management and they cannot seem to submit the refills. The voice mail message says stay online and the answering service will connect you with a doctor. Well, no they wont. They told me for medicine to contact during office hours. If the doctor had done his job, I wouldnt be in this situation. Best Day had 1 job: medication management. Best Day has failed 2 times now.The service also told me to go to ER.The instructions to take my 8 year old son to an ER during a Pandemic is beyond belief. He canniot be vaccinated and the ERs are full of COVID-19 cases.Your practice has failed my family twice.I am NOT happy!
Communication between office staff and providers is heavily flawed. requests as simple as medication management are a pain to have fulfilled. it’s sad how an office that’s supposed to assist with mental health has presented me with so many mentally-taxing issues
I was honest about trauma and substance abuse issues on my paperwork and I was assigned a PA that couldnt handle either. The PA was a lovely person but was not qualified to treat me. What I put on paperwork did not matter and I never saw an actual psychiatrist. I wouldnt recommend this organization.
By far the worse experience Ive had. You will be rushed through your appointment. Provider will clock watch while listening. Theyd rather I fill out paper work during my appointment. It feels they are more about getting your money then actual patient care. I told them I will no longer see them after poor service. Instead of cancelling my next appointment they decided to charge me for a missed appointment. Took over 3 months to get the charge taken off because billing department does not work directly with office. Even the billing customer service department was poor. I was told Maybe it was something I did wrong For true patient care I advice you go else where.
The counselors and psychiatrists are great, but the billing department is horrible. They called me less than 10 minutes before my appointment demanding I pay them $34.44. I tried to tell them I didn’t have copays, my deductible had been met but they insisted it was a copay. I told them Medicare didn’t have copays so they changed it to it was a 20% payment. I tried to explain that I had supplemental insurance to cover what Medicare didn’t and that they had this information, nope, if I didn’t pay right then I didn’t get to meet with my therapist. I got it straightened out and I was correct - I owed them $0, but I still had to pay even though I didn’t owe them a dime. So rude and condescending they were. It wasn’t until I reached a person with some sense that I was able to fix what was their problem. Thanks Regina!
Been going here for about 6 months now. Front desk folks are always friendly and helpful. I look forward to chatting with them whenever Im checking in. Alex has been an amazing counselor/therapist. Shes very open minded and brings a lot of resources and knowledge to our discussions. Id recommend checking this place out if youre looking for counseling services.
I have been going to Best Day for about a year and I can say its a wonderful place to go! The receptionists are very helpful and the therapists employed genuinely care about the well being and mental heath of their patients. Of course everyones experience will be different, but they give you all the opportunities at finding individualized avenues to the help you need. They know a lot of local resources and Melissa gave me a list of therapy groups in the Raleigh area to help me gain more support. All of the staff have been very kind and truly make you feel welcome. They also respect your personal decision in deciding whether you choose taking medication.
As I start to wonder why nothing has worked to improve my condition, I realized after todays visit that it will be my last. Each visit lasts less than 10 minutes before youre escorted out of the office with another prescription. I dont feel like Im heard nor are questions asked about my symptoms before Im prescribed something else. The amount that Im paying out of pocket is exorbitant compared to the care I receive. My PCP has provided me better psychiatric care than this!
Great front desk staff and great doctors. Very patient and caring. Treats kids as well as adults and will go beyond to help even if you dont deserve it. A place that is quiet, great atmopshere and clean.Always a smile
I have only had pleasant experiences at this office. Everyone at the front desk is friendly and professional, when I call the people who answer are courteous and effective, and my psychiatrist is very knowledgeable, and professional. Thanks best day!
I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago, and was on medication for it. I left the area, and got off the medication for about a year. After having various struggles with my disorder, i came back to Raleigh, and consulted best day psychiatry, to try to get back on my medication. The psychiatrist, was extremely quick to try and prescribe me antidepressants that I had no interest in. After explaining that I wanted to get back on my old medication, I was told that the psych needed to see “the results” of my diagnosis. After having to go through the trouble of making a doctors appointment to get the paperwork with the “results”, I paid to fax the paperwork to them, which they lost at first, so I again had to pay to send another fax, constantly calling to make sure they got the paperwork, and that the psychiatrist would review it. I have been given the ABSOLUTE RUN AROUND for a week now, and after learning the psychiatrist finally got around to reading the paperwork with my diagnosis on it, it still is apparently not sufficient enough for them to put me on MEDICATION THAT I HAD ALREADY BEEN ON FOR TWO YEARS. This is absolutely the most frustrating thing I have had to deal with in a while. This doctor does not care about my needs whatsoever. After being put through the ringer for almost a week and a half, receiving no calls back about the situation, having to call them every time to figure out exactly the status of my “results” I am probably just going to have to consult a different psychiatrist. This doctor wasted a huge chunk of my time. It should not be that impossible, to receive caring service, from a PSYCHIATRIST. I won’t use the doctors name, out of respect, but she has made this experience horrible for me.
I always look forward to my check-ups because everyone from the intake staff to the therapists are kind, understanding, and helpful. I will continue going here as long as they are around and I have referred friends and family members who are also happy with their services.
Front office staff are very engaging and helpful, makes such a difference. Therapist and Doctors are excellent too. I have had nothing but good experiences at Best Day and recommend them.
We have been extremely happy with the service and the professional staff. Our granddaughter is comfortable and relaxed in the office. Katelyn is a positive addition to your practice.
Great caring staff who always make me feel welcome and my psychiatrist and therapist have helped me feel so much better over the past few months I have been going there. I go to state and it’s a great location for college students to get to if the on campus services aren’t working outCould not recommend this place enough!
Only reason I am giving them two stars is because of Kat she is amazing the company is not however they have a medicine refill line but it never works ! So I’m forced to call god forbid you miss there hours cause the on call doctor can’t do a thing to help but tell you there hours is 8:30 till 5:00 so me being a night shift worker I miss my perception till either I can stay up in order to call which is not easy or try to wake up hours before my work shift just call lose lose situation ! But enough of the bad kat is an amazing person an is the only reason I continue to go
This is the most horrible place I have ever been too. They gave me wrong prices for my co pay. My doctor was awesome he was very understanding of my current situation and was allowing me to come see him minus my copay due to non working. However, his boss Matt stated I couldnt be seen unless I paid .. lets go back a couple of days when I went to see matt for the first time. At that time the day before I had a bad day and explained it in tears. Yet he still refused to see me unless I paid 15.00. When a person is in the edge and he only way Is down places as such are suppose to help not push us 10 steps back... Something needs to be done better to help those in need. I would never go back or refer anyone there..
Recently started going here and recently stopped going.Initial appointment was well and fine, scheduled a follow up. Day of I get told that the provider is only at the F.V. location and that they called me to let me know of this.Never received a message stating this. Told them Id need meds refilled, they said theyll need to contact me once the refill has been approved. How hard is it to leave a message? If you value prompt effective communication, go someplace else because you wont find it here.
My son goes here and I just wanted to point out how awesome the two ladies at the front desk have been the past few weeks for us and how they always do whatever they can and go the extra mile for patients.
I have always loved Ellis sense her days in FV. In fact we followed her to the Raleigh office because my son and wife appreciate her style and technic so much. I admit early days, in Raleigh, with the old office manger were rough. However, with the new manager, things are clicking right along. I now love everything about Best Day! And, now refer them 100% of the time without hesitation.
Dr Meggit was an extraordinary psychiatrist but unfortunately has recently left the facility for rather good reasons. That aside, the receptionists have always been incredibly helpful and friendly and the building itself is well maintained.
My sister and I had been seeing Danielle Harris when suddenly all providers got up and left within 3 months. we saw matlack who just pushed us off and only saw us for 5 min MAX for follow ups. they triple book the patients to make as much money as possible.. found this out when one of the front desk let it slip. new provider accused my mom of trying to over medicate us and office manager melissa was awful. do yourself a favor and go to medpsych in brier creek
Dr. Harris and the staff here have always been super helpful and kind. They do an amazing job with my 8 year old and myself.
Very comfortable atmosphere and the one receptionist Liam always makes us feel welcome and does a great job! Wouldn’t take our kids anywhere else
Corlin megitt is a god send. her and the office manager alex have made this part of my life so much easier. getting the right care shouldnt have to be so hard but do everything to make it happen
Great office atmosphere and I always feel welcome
I came here from another doctor office who was rude and didnt listen to me at all. I came here and met with dr kathlee Flaherty she has been patient and attentive to my needs and concerns.
I am bipolar and the person in charge of my mental health turned me away because of I was 8 minutes late due to nc state fair traffic so I had to go to the emergency room even though I have insurance and I have been on my (non-regulated) medicine for upwards of 5 years
Dont receive services from this place. Go elsewhere. You will be feed for payments other than your copay. Ive tried to reach the billing department several times; however, it is hard to contact an agent and Ive been given the run-around.
Love it
First visit and receptionist is rude!!!!
