Mr. Humming did a GREAT job saving the leather backpack I brought him. This is a piece that has been my daily carry for several years, so it has taken a beating, and the teeth of the zipper were separating from the rest of the zipper track in one corner. Ive fixed zippers myself before and know that this means you need to replace the whole thing, but didnt trust myself to do it on a piece I like this much. The one he replaced it with looks so much like the original that I can hardly tell the difference. A++ work, would absolutely bring stuff there again.

I take my Allen Edmonds here for heel pad replacements and one for repairing a nasty scratch that needed dying. He did such an artful job on all my repairs. The heel pads were all replaced, ground to match the heel blocks and buffed to match perfectly. The scratch repair displayed his mastery of the craft. One cannot even see the scratch because his dye matched so very precisely. He is an excellent cobbler! I highly recommend!

I have used the shoe repair service and they did excellent work. The owner also got a watch that I inherited from my grandmother working again. He showed me that its the kind of watch that has to be wound daily (doesnt have a battery). He showed me how to wind it and now it works perfectly (and he didnt even charge me despite my insistence). Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Drove all the way over to drop off a pair of boots to have repaired only to be greeted with a sign on the door that they were closed today despite it being regular business hours. Wanted to try someone new but guess I’ll have to go to someone else.

I have a thing about services being provided with out prices posted. I was on my way out of town and needed a quick repair. He used a screw to fix my shoe in less than 10 min and charged me $15. I was expecting to pay $7 at the most but again no price posted.

Dropped off 2 Italian leather belts I bought in Italy while on vacation. They were larger than what my sons needed. The owner will resize per my request. Quiet man but cordial. Prices were very fair. Based on work I saw in his shop and number of people dropping things off and picking things up I have to assume at this point his quality is good. Will know better this Friday when I pick my items up.

I brought my Coach watch here to have the battery replaced as the jeweler I bought it from said it would cost me $50.00. I was able to drop my watch off right before closing and it was ready for me the next day! And the best part about it was that I was only charged $10.00! The owner is friendly and does great work. I would absolutely go here again.

Mr. Humming did an outstanding job fixing a zipper on a leather briefcase and restoring a well worn leather jacket to make it look new again! Very nice to do business with, and everything was ready for pickup on the day quoted for pickup.

Fast watch battery replacement at a reasonable price. Did 2 watches, 1 hour turn around time, $20 cash. I paid twice this at the jewelry store and had to wait a week.

I have used Humming shoe repair for 10 years. Extremely talented repair, attention to details, keeps his promised dates, and has very reasonable prices. I have trusted Humming with some of my best and most liked shoes - he always does a wonderful job. I feel fortunate to have found him.

I cant imagine anyone leaving a bad review for this gentleman and his shop. He was humble, kind, quick and thorough. I highly recommend this storefor repairs.

I took in expensive leather boots to be resoled, a pair of shoes to be reheeled, and a watch for a new battery. Owner did a great job and was very professional. I will be coming back with more shoes to be repaired and with any watches that need batteries. You pay up front for the repairs, so Im not sure why other reviewers are complaining about the prices. If you think the price are too high (they are not, by the way), then can always go somewhere else.

Based just on a phone conversation with the owner, I will find another shoe repair shop. I was asking something simple. He might have saved me a trip and money, because of his non willingness to answer questions. I just needed to reglue a sole..

I took in a pair of my favorite heels. The heel tips were so worn down that I was afraid that they couldnt be repaired because they are not a standard heel tip size or shape. The gentleman at the shop was very friendly and the price he gave me was reasonable. He did a great job on the heels, and the shoes are like new!

Had three pairs of shoes repaired. One re-stitched one resoled and one reglued. A job well done. The guy at the front isnt grumpy or mean or anything. He just simply doesnt talk much. Seemed fine to me.

Had a battery put in my watch. My watch was waterproof to 1000 ft. Now I cant even was my hair, dishes etc without water getting in the lens. UGH Now I have to take it somewhere else that knows what theyre doing.

Their hours of operation need to be updated. Arrived at 5:20pm and they were closed. Other reviews also mention inconsistencies in their hours.

Just picked up 5 pairs of shoes that needed re heeled. Did a great job!!!! Many different heel tip shapes and sizes and they look fantastic!!

Sorry to say this since there are likely few businesses to repair shoes, purses, luggage...but this guy is way too expensive. I would have rigged my stuff up myself had I known how much he charged. I thought it would be a minimal charge...what a surprise. Wont be going back!
