Triangle Marketing Club is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other marketers and to learn about marketing. Chris Douglas invites fantastic experts to present on engaging and relevant topics. The group offers a warm and welcoming environment for new to experienced professionals. I am grateful for the community and rich learning opportunities that Chris and his team make possible.

Chris Douglas runs this group extremely well and while I have a great deal of experience in the space, every month there is a truly inspired discussion on some facet of the marketing industry from which anyone can learn. The attendees bring a great deal of knowledge and experience to the group so you never know who you will meet and what benefit it can have. Chris also has many interns who help run the club and they provide a great source of knowledgeable entry level people each year for the growing Triangle business community.

I went for my first time this week and it was wonderful. The speaker was informative and I got to meet some great people. I highly recommend this for anyone who is in marketing or looking to get into marketing.

As a speaker, the best events are those where the crowd is engaged, ready to learn, and excited to be there. I think this perfectly sums up the Triangle Marketing Club meetup. Its well organized and Chris Douglas does an amazing job of making sure everything runs smoothly. I genuinely enjoyed the event and am sad I dont live closer!

In addition to the learning opportunity, there is a large group of folks who attend these meetings so there is plenty of opportunity to network as well. Oh yeah...free beer and pizza, too!

I just went to my first Triangle Marketing Club meeting and I gotta say, Im impressed. Its very well structured and the speakers that they bring in are some of the industrys best. If youre in the RDU area and your looking to network with digital marketing professionals or learn some new skills, I recommend going to these meetings.

I started as a Marketing Intern with TMC the summer of 2016 and continued until the end of the year. Through my time, I enjoyed the networking, educational, and experiential aspects of the organization. Going to the monthly meetings were the highlight of the month - getting to network with entrepreneurs and other local marketers. Getting to learn from speakers and Chris was a great way to learn about marketing which I was definitely interested in as well. Gaining experience with content writing, research, and even dabbling in Search Engine Optimization, I was able to launch the start of my (internship) career.

Excellent group! Top notch presenters. The community is very welcoming. Chris and his crew are running a professional and well organized club.

Great monthly event! Good networking opportunities, always has pizza and beer, and very interesting speakers. The venue is nice as well, currently in the Dillion overlooking Raleigh, great views. He always gives away free tickets to concerts and other cool giveaways.

Have attended TMC events in the past hosted by Chris Douglas, and found them to be good time investments. Chris puts a lot of thought and effort in making sure that the talent he brings is vetted. Recently heard Erik Woodard with Marshall Multimedia present about “How to make affordable, effective video.” The session was excellent both from a best practices learning and networking perspective.

From humble beginnings at the back of a local bar a few years ago, the TMC team has been exceptionally focused on what is important - giving great marketing insights to the professional marketers in the area.Chris has been relentless in his drive to make the event better every month. I can always rate the wisdom of the crowd by the questions asked, and the people being attracted to the TMC events are smart, savvy, engaged and thirsty for knowledge.Even if youre not super interested in a specific subject one month, you would be crazy to not show up and meet someone new in your peer group. Did I mention free pizza and beer?

Attended my first event with this group last night. Great speaker, Jessie Butner from Go Fish Digital, on running influencer marketing campaigns. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this presentation and the group in general. This is the first Meetup Ive attended in the area since moving to Chapel Hill and it didnt disappoint (and was worth the trip). Nice turnout. I would recommend to fellow online marketers and Ill be back for more events.

Ive attended several monthly events with TMC and have learned a ton of new stuff each time. Most recently, some great tips for doing inexpensive and effective videos. Before that, a session on content marketing gave me a nice list of To Dos. Always very well attended, and free pizza and beer are a bonus! (P.S. Have some water too for us non-drinkers). The only thing I wish were quicker is the intro. It takes a LONG time for Chris to acknowledge each and every sponsor. Overall, Im thankful to have this group. Its a perfect way to keep yourself up to date with the latest marketing trends and tools.

Ive attended three TMC events so far and have loved every single one. Chris and TMC provide an amazing opportunity for marketing professionals in the Triangle: to receive actionable, practical insight on a variety of marketing topics from well-known, highly knowledgable speakers. TMC makes these opportunities accessible to professionals in many income brackets (which is very important to me) because theyre free and include free pizza and beer.
