They were very professional and took their time to find out exactly what I needed. They went through each type of glass and described what the best option would be for my needs. I also used them a number of years ago for my bathroom shower and they were excellent!

Glass Doctor replaced 2 casement window panes which had clouded because heat had destroyed the seal between the two panes of glass. They came out, examined them, and determined that a repair could be made for $350 apiece for labor and new glass. I paid half up front to order the glass and after about 4 weeks the job was done. My installer arrived on tme. he was courteous and explained what he was going to do and how long it would take. He then proceeded to remove the whole large casement type window, took it to a work area in the driveway and changed out the glass. He then reinstalled the window, made sure it worked, gave me the bill and processed the payment.He left the area clean. He did all that I expected.

Simply put, The Glass Doctor is not to be trusted because they rob their customers. They gave me an estimate for $2238.00 to repair my window leakage issue. Please keep in mind that they charged me $500 for their first visit, which left me with nails in my windows, after the technician himself stated that I wouldn’t be charged the full price of my deposit since he needed to order the proper supplies in order to finish the repair. Instead, The Glass Doctor told me that my $500 had been used up and the new price, which included 2 new windows, would be $2238. I recently found out that I didn’t even need new windows. To make matters worse, they said that I needed to pay a new deposit of $1000, even though they didn’t have any clue as to when the new window system would be available. I spoke to a couple of other companies, including Home Depot, regarding this situation after receiving The Glass Doctor’s estimate and they assured me that a general contractor could resolve the window leakage issue for a much lesser price. Turns out, they were absolutely right. A general contractor came to my house today to fix the window and he only charged me one-fourth of the price that The Glass Doctor was ready to charge me. Overall, please avoid this company because they are out to rob their customers by charging them for extra supplies they don’t even need. In other words, they don’t have their customers best interest in mind.

Had a quote from another reputable window installer who decided they didn’t want to do my window. A friend referred me to you and I was glad to learn they would do just an arch replacement window. Turns out the price was like a third of the cost!!! They were professional, punctual and very nice. I would definitely use them again. I forgot to use the coupon when they arrived but still saved!!!

Their estimate was 25% higher than another area competitor. I asked them if they wanted to lower estimate. Would not. Shop around.

I was extremely pleased with my glass replacement. The clarity of the glass was amazing, and the quality of workmanship was superb. The installer did such a flawless job that you would never know the glass had been replaced, except that the window looked brand new. There was no mess and we didn’t even have to do any paint touch up, as we expected to do.

Excellent quality workmanship, good communications during quote and execution phases of the project. A bit of hassle with the actual execution (required 2 separate service visits) but overall Im very happy with the final product and the quality/cost ratio.

Got our old glass shower door replaced last week by Glass Doctor after shopping with two other companies. Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Same technician took measurements and made the installation. He made recommendations which greatly assisted us in making the right decisions. Price was great and installation was fast and on time. I really think that Arturo, our technician, made everything the pleasant and easy experience that it was.

Window glass replaced due to fogging between panes. People are friendly, professional. The only drawback was getting the window and frame back in a timely fashion. Said two hours, but after 5 hours they initially said it would be the next day. I insisted so they did get it done while I waited. So far, so good. The window looks great!

Guy came out to inspect sliding door for replacement parts. Told my elderly parents that they needed new track insert and rollers. Parents paid $200 upfront. When guy came out to do the work, THEN they discovered there is a split in track and insert wouldn’t work. So they just replaced rollers which didn’t fix issue with door not closing or opening properly. Now parents are out $200. They should refund them their money since it was Glass Doctors mistake. Would not recommend them for this type of work.

I had two windows that needed the panes replaced. They came to my home and gave me an estimate. The gentleman was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He said in about 3-4 weeks I would get a call when the glass was ready. In approx 3 1/2 weeks I received the call and was able to schedule the glass to be installed within days. Both times, the representatives were on time, cordial and professional. I would highly recommend this company to do business with.

Great communication and timely quote / install. We were working to put our house on the market in a compressed timeline. We needed to update the shower doors in owners suite. Glass Doctor was willing to go the extra to get an estimator here within a day in order to lock into the supply chain to meet our dates. Final product looks fantastic.

I would not choose Glass Doctor again. I got a quote for a sash replacement and for window screens last year, paid them the deposit and completed the work order in September (of 2020) and only just had the order completed in March. I understand that manufacturing and other factors could impact their work, but they never communicated with me about delays. I called them several times and could never get an honest answer and they never returned calls when they said they would. Im glad to be done with them and will look for other options in the future.

We had a car strike at our store in the middle of the night and needed emergency board up . The technician Daniel who came out was excellent. He was professional, made sure the store was fully secure, and did an amazing job. We will be using them again!!

We needed a few window replaced in our house- one for a BB crack and another because the seal between the double panes had failed. Glass Doctor came out and gave us a quote and noted 3 transom windows that appeared to have broken seals and quoted us for that as well. The technician was easy to schedule, arrived on time and did great work. We had some rotting around the frame of one of the transoms, so we had to get those repairs done then had the technician come back and finish up. Very pleased with the work and would use them again.

Called multiple times and was told they would reach out and schedule. They called once and left a message. I called back 5 different times after that, with each time having them record my info. I was told they would get back to me. This did not happen, therefore will not be using them.

I had my glass with glass doctor of Raleigh. The technician was very he came in did very good work, and I was completely satisfied by the job! The price was very fair and I will definitely use them in the future!

Overall experience was pretty good and I’d use them again. Price seemed high but I didn’t have time to shop around much and the number of alternative service providers was small. It took 4 days to get an appt and then after paying 50% it took ~2 weeks for glass to arrive (sunroom window pane, 3ft x 6ft). Only minor frustration besides what felt like a high price was their process for setting up the quote appt. they have a quote appt calendar online. I selected my preferred Date/time. Then they called to confirm the appt, but actually they were saying that the appt hadn’t been scheduled yet and that someone else was going to call me to schedule the appt (and at the time I thought I had already done that). I wish they would consolidate the steps and streamline it. Install appt was very easy, thankfully, and the installers were safe and courteous.

Following that i spoke with two separate representatives and confirmed a date and time for someone to come to my house and assess the work. On the morning of the scheduled date, I received a call from yet another rep asking me to see if we can confirm a different date!!!!!!Unbelievable! I am not certain they communicate in that office or if they honor a scheduled appointment date.
