We build 3 season screen room additions and most projects have a multi panel folding door to open the back of the house up connecting rooms together. For years we used top of the line Marvin folding doors however they are very expensive, heavy with a long lead time. Those doors hang from the header so in most cases an extensive rebuild of the opening is required, they have limited sizes and require a 2x6 jamb which hardly any home has. After finding Glass Depots folding doors this is all we offer now. Their doors can be made to fit any size opening, they operate from a bottom roller so no weight is placed on the header which eliminates home settling problems and the best part is, the people that make them install them. This is a professional company with the best people, the best price and a fraction of the lead time.

It was very easy to deal with them. Some one came out and did survey of bathtub glass that needed to be changed with an immediate 2day +- estimate. I also went out to the show room. Great big building with a lot of glass available and plenty of more available. Would use them again in the future if I needed to. Only thing I would recomend in the future is for employees when they come in to any house not just mine is to take off the shoes or wear shoe coverings when walking inside the house. The person who did estimate took his shoes off but not the installers.

Glass depot contracts the glass installation out. The contractor done a excellent job as so far as the work, however he made s errior in the dementions. Glass Depot wanted money up front before corecting the problem. I refused that offer so never got my problem solved.

This morning I called for a quote. The customer service rep asked me for the measurements of the windows I needed replaced and suggested I call back after measuring. When I called back, a new customer service rep informed me that there is an $85 service to come out and measure the windows. (Why was I instructed to measure the windows if this service charges to measure the windows?) This fee is applied to the cost of service if you select them to do work but is non-refundable otherwise.

I recently updated the shower doors in my bathroom. I wanted to make impactful updates but not a complete bathroom remodel. Bob made a great first impression - knowledgeable and helpful. He gave feedback on grout cleanup contractors and options, made suggestions on details - increasing the height was a great decision, and gave me the information to make an educated decision. Phillip was there on the install - very experienced, meticulous with his work, and tidy. The pricing was very competitive but they were also good about making suggestions that would help in long term both with function and style. One of the best contractor experiences I have had in a long time - I referred my mom.

Replaced 2 full mirrors for an investment property.Glass Depot was able to give an estimate from our measurements and drawings with the best pricing. With their experience, we replaced our full mirrors. The estimator was prompt and efficient to take the custom measurements and give us a final quote. The mirrors were prepared in only a few days. The installers also were prompt, courteous, and completed the installation in only a few minutes. The mirrors looked so good, I decided I wouldnt install the frames I had originally planned.

I have had two occasions to hire Glass Depots and, in both instances, I have been very happy with their work. Recently, they replaced a large Palladium window in my family room that had begun to fog up. This window is ten feet in diameter and half-round with double-paned glass. Its huge! Glass Depots sent a crew of four men who removed the old window and installed the new window in less than three hours. I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently they were able to manage setup, removal, replacement and then clean up afterwards. Two other items are worth of note. When you purchase an expensive product you expect a quality product and excellent customer service. What about an inexpensive purchase? I purchased 2 small pieces of custom glass. These guys installed a really cool bi-fold door for me. I had a really shady general contractor that failed to correctly frame the opening for the door, but Wally and the guys from Glass Depots were superb in working with me to uninstall the door while the framing was corrected and reinstall the door...all the while ensuring the final product was flawless. Its been a pleasure working with them and Ill definitely use them again in the future as I have a need for their services/products.

They recently replaced our master shower door, and it looks great! Shoe covers were worn by the gentleman who gave us the quote and the installers. They removed all traces of the old door and caulk, and did a very clean caulking job on our new door. Everything was spotless when they left - floor and glass!

Glass Depot was able to fit me in their busy schedule as quickly as they could. They ordered the window and installed it. The install was very quick (took 15-20 minutes). The only thing I wish had been different is when they were trying to call to schedule the window install, they could not leave a message but didn’t try again until the next week.

If youre looking for cheap you wont find it here, but if your looking for high quality materials, knowledgeable sales, engineering, and installation personnel who do what they say theyll do in the time frame specified, Glass Depot in Raleigh are the ones to check out. Mine was a simple 2 x 7 glass shower accent wall anchored with aluminum extrusion on one long edge and at the base. Perfectly clean silicone caulk lines....tough to do right considering the wild variations in slate wall thickness. Adds tons of visual appeal to the whole room.

I contacted Glass Depot for two new shower enclosures. They sent Bob out to measure and give me an estimate. He was a real professional and quick to give me a price. His price was much lower that 3 other companies I had contacted. I gave him the job. The delivery and install was ahead of schedule by a few days, that was great. We had Glass Depots replaced our master shower with a semi-frameless one. Bob came and did the estimates and answered all our questions and give some good suggestions. The price quote was competitive. When ordering, we were told the typical time to receive is 12 to 15 business days. We expressed our need to get this done sooner and was told although it really depends on the glass supplier, they will try their best. And we were indeed lucky to get the shower arrived quite a few days early. The install crew came and did a clean and professional job. Overall we are very very happy with the service by Glass Depots. Highly recommended.

Estimator and installers were on time and called in advance to let me know they were on their way. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Bob the estimator advised me on how large my glass panel should be, and he was right. Glass Depots price for my shower glass was half what another glass company estimated. The installers were very professional and pleasant. They were supposed to be here between 8:00-12:00 and were here a little before 8:00. So perfect and on Saturday morning. I will refer your company to all of my family and friends! You went over and above my expectations.

Long story short, I broke 2 full panes of tempered safety glass from my back patio door and needed them replaced/ repaired asap. I first tried Glass Doctor of Raleigh because their reviews were so high on Google. They turned out to be a complete disappointment. Replied to my detailed email with an astronomical quote for one single pane of regular (not tempered) glass. Also, they noted I would have to paint after installation.I called Glass Depots and they gave me a great quote on exactly what I was asking for. I had to pay a measuring fee for someone to come out and inspect but once they confirmed everything including the quote, the fee was rolled over into the final reasonable price. Installers came only a few hours later and did a wonderful job. Removed all of the old broken glass and the assistant swept up and shop vacced the leftover pieces. The installation was done in less than an hour and included recaulking the insulated unit back into the door frame; no painting necessary from me. I reviewed the completed work before they left and was impressed at the quality of the installers craftsmanship.Brenda and Joe were also a pleasure to deal with. If I, my friends or family ever have glass issues in the future I certainly wont hesitate to contact Glass Depots again. Glass Depot could not have done any better. My experience with them was exceptional. On a Wednesday afternoon I sent them an email requesting a quote for a mirrored wall. The next morning I received a call from them to set up a time for an in home estimate. We set that up for the following Wednesday morning. I had a firm quote that afternoon. I signed the quote and put down the deposit on that same afternoon. Glass Depot called the next Monday to set up the installation. We set it up for the next day. The installers showed up on time. They were professional, courteous, neat and quick. 2 Hours in and out for a 20 x 6 mirrored wall. The whole process start to finish took 2 weeks. Use these guys. They are top notch.

They did a good job replacing the broken window located on my back door. Quick and responsive. Fair price. Only two stars because I was not home and could tell that someone went in my bedroom. Nothing was taken but my bedroom is no where near the back door. They did a good job but I will not be using them again. No reason for them to have entered my bedroom.Update: Increased my rating to three stars (from two). Owner called me concerned with my review and my complaint. I appreciate that and shows me the owner has a close eye on his business. States he will talk/reprimand as best as he can. Still no reason for his technicians to have entered in my bedroom, but I appreciate the call because many businesses dont make that effort.

We were generally pleased with the work of Glass Depot personnel. The sales staff at the showroom were courteous and helpful, the one who measured and estimated cost of our product was helpful, and the installers were cordial and on time. My only minor complaint is the time it took to get the glass door and frame made and installed. Nearly 3 weeks elapsed between when the rest of the work on our bathroom remodel was done and we could finally use the shower.

This business is top notch. We used them twice in 2020. They are one of the few companies to offer a hybrid shower which is midway between frameless and fully framed. Their cost was reasonable, their measurer fast and knowledgeable, their installers very competent. When they were measuring they found flaws in the tilework done by other subcontractors, which we never would have known about. We heartily recommend them.
