I went in to the Raleigh Badcock store this weekend after having been to quite a few places looking for furniture to prepare for my move. I wasnt ready to make a purchase yet because I hadnt finalized my move and at every other store I went to, the salespeople lost interest in me as soon as I said that. But this place was different. Otto helped me plan, and was extremely friendly even though I told him I wasnt going to be purchasing yet. The manager, Connor was very accessible and helpful as well in answering any questions I had. I will definitely be back when I am ready to purchase, thank you guys for being so friendly!!
Today I went to store #878 to pay my bill and also to browse for a new sectional. I was approached by a young lady asking if she could help me with anything. I responded, not at this time and continued to browse. Shortly afterwards I went to the front to pay my bill, where another young lady took my payment. I walked, but decided to give the sectional sofas a second look. Now I have a question. I waved my hand, getting the attention of the first employee that offer her assistance when I first entered the store…..she looks at me, looks at the employee sitting to her left (whom by the way is playing on her cell phone) she looks at the employee to her right (the young lady that took my payment) they have a brief conversation between themselves. I then say, you know what? Don’t even worry about it. I start to walk out, but I felt as if I should make this behavior known to the manager, since everyone is busy doing nothing. While I’m telling the manager that I’m gonna leave my contact information with him so that I can be followed up with next week, giving them time to make up an excuse as to why the employees of this store pretty much draw straws to see who’s gonna help the customers. I was told that it was probably some misunderstanding or miscommunication since the employee to the right took my payment. That could’ve made sense, but I need to know why the employee that initially approached me and offered help couldn’t help when called upon(no that she was busy or doing anything AT ALL). But she did get up to go assist another couple….. Now everybody is confused as to why I’m feeling some type of way.
My sales representative, Otto was extremely helpful and made my experience in store a great one.
I came in to the store to purchase a set of kitchen appliances (Refrigerator, Range, & Dishwasher). I was met at the door by Conner, a sales associate. He was very helpful and quick. We encountered internet/browser issues. We could not access the site when I was there but Conner figured everything out and I was able to successfully make my purchase and out the door. As soon as I got home, I started to measure the areas of where all the appliances would go and encountered an issue with the refrigerator. It will not fit width wise. I called Conner up and he ensured that we will get something that I still like and fit.I went back to the store in person and again met by Conner at the front entrance. That’s what I called great customer service. We went straight to getting the appliances I need and ensured all dimensions would fit the areas I have at my house. We placed the order and once again I was out the door in no time.I m always a type that goes in and out. Conner made that happened. Great service and great problem solver with his collaboration. Really appreciate it. Definitely will continue to buy my household furniture and appliances from there!!! Hopefully sales associates like Conner will still be around. Thanks!!!
Do not buy anything from these people. Their furniture are inferior. Very poor quality. I bought a table set from them cash and after a month or two, it began stripping. I also bought protection. I went to them about it and they are telling me to pay to take it back to them and then I will pay to pick it back up. Thats so poor. Their excuse is I did not pay for delivery from them. But I dont care about that. Thats their problem. A table should start stripping within a month, so its not my fault it has to be returned so they should be obliged to get it back to their store.

The music was so loud the lady had to keep asking us what we were looking for, after several attempts to tell her we finally just told her thank you and left. We visited another store and purchased the dining room set and bedroom set we had planned on purchasing at the previous store. I dont mind music but in a place of business moderation is best!

This was one of the most peaceful experiences in a retail situation I have ever had. The entire staff worked as a team to make my purchase seemless. Jada is thee absolute best... her coworker, whose name escapes me, was an absolute delight. Everyone was wonderful!
I would give a zero if I could. Staff turn over multiple times. No one knows what is going on. Still waiting on a part and their fix it man. And even emailed and sent pictures to corporate with no response. Poor customer service and communication. DONT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

I was at the capital blvd location and was very disappointed. When my husband and I arrived in the store, we were not greeted but that didnt bother me. What bothered me was we were in the store for atleast 15 to 20 minutes and noone came out to ask if we needed help. We saw 2 workers in a room eating. I can understand getting a break but both workers breaking and not attending to customers, not cool. Clearly they did not want my money, so I took it elsewhere. Not happy and will not be visiting this store again!!!
I would give zero stars if it were possible. This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I’m usually the last person to complain about things. I ordered a counter height dining table set that included a table and six chairs. First off, I had to be the one to call the company to set up the delivery as they never reached out a number of days following the order confirmation even though our credit card had already been charged. Delivery day comes and I’m told we have a delivery window of 2-5pm. No one showed up by 5pm so I called the store and they said they were on their way and would be there by 5:30pm. They eventually showed up around 6:45pm and unloaded the chairs BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE TABLE. Not to mention, one of the chairs was missing an assembly piece. The delivery person told me his supervisor told him the table was on “backorder”, which makes absolutely no sense because you wouldnt schedule a delivery without delivering the main piece. The delivery person then put me on the phone with his supervisor, and after putting me on hold for awhile, it was then discovered that they forgot to load the table onto the truck! Unbelievable. They then said they would try to deliver the table the next day (Friday) and that they would call me first thing the next morning to let me know if they could. Of course they did not call me, I had to call them, and I was then told the table couldnt be delivered until Monday because their Friday and Saturday trucks were already packed full. When asked if they could make an exception, they said there was nothing they could do. We were then told we would receive a call on Sunday about a delivery window for Monday - we did not receive a call. We once again had to call them to find out when they were coming. We were told the delivery window would be 3-6pm on Monday. I was told Id get a call back with a more definitive delivery window time since weve already been inconvenienced two times having to wait for delivery. To no ones surprise, I did not get a call back. Predictably, they didnt show up until nearly 7pm. We finally got the table, but alas they BROUGHT THIS WRONG CHAIR this time! Now we’ll have to wait for yet ANOTHER delivery to see if we get the correct chair. The saga continues!

I’ve been to a couple of different Badcock furniture stores but the one on Capital is awesome! It’s very convenient because I live in north Raleigh. The staff are very nice, kind, helpful, knowledgeable and attentive but not on top of you like most places. They have great quality products at reasonable prices.
Wonderful place to shop. Its a beautiful store, William was pleasure to work with, he made me feel at home while I was in there. I would have given 5 stars but what I originally pick out was on back order till the end of the year, but William helped me pick out something else and my family is in love with our new living room.
Just went to look for a bedroom suit, had the pleasure of meeting a sales rep who just moved here from Philadelphia blonde headed lady who’s name was Amy I believe !! She was very warm, Friendly and Informative!! Definitely made me feel very confident and comfortable in my choices and she made me and my grandmothers first experience at Badcock Furniture a memorable one!! Will definitely be recommending her as well as this store to family and friends!!

If I could I would give them a 0. I had an issue in the past with the garner store, however due to a different location and a open credit line I decided to give them another chance. Definitely not worth the stress and headache. The walls in my brand new home is damaged. My furniture is damaged. Have been waiting to hear back about receiving my new pieces and how they plan to take care of the wall damage but the lack of communication and customer service makes me wish I never even went back to this store. I was just told I am in my 30 day period to return, now another person is telling me I can return but it is a 20% fee. Why am I paying for something that could have been fixed or even communicated properly before I even got to this point of not wanting to do business with them. Just stay away.
As a first responder, it was great to speak to a sales woman like Jessica Rivera who treated me as one of the family. Thank you Badcock for this excellent service. I will be coming back.
I rate this place a 0. I ordered a whole set of furniture a month ago and still have yet to receive a working fridge or a full sectional or a box spring, despite 4 visits in counting from the delivery store. DONT BUY FROM HERE. And to the owner who will reply to this message with the same generic “oh no...” response, don’t bother unless I am able to speak with a real person rather than an automated phone system. This is not a rare thing this Badcock has had several problems like this. Take your money and service elsewhere.
It was approached by a salesman as soon as entered your store. I was given time to decide and suggestions by the team. All my questions were answered although sometimes I felt they were bothersome. I will shop and visit again and will reccomend you to others.

William was very helpful. But that is where it stopped. First delivery from Garner, NC was damaged and had some broken. 2nd delivery didnt replace what I was told would be made right. Customer service said I would have 3rd delivery with the rest of the pieces. Guess what a whole Saturday wasted waiting on a no call, nnnooo show!!! If your time doesnt matter to you, go ahead. If you like to buy things new that look used or are poorly put together, go ahead! Never again!!!

PSA! Do not shop here! The staff is horrible. They are so focused on getting commission that they are incapable of doing their jobs properly. Customer service does not exist at this place & the manager doesn’t even rectify situations she just takes down your name and number and you still end up calling them back and reiterating what has already been said a million times. Take your business else where!

This store workers were very rude and didn’t feel like doing their job and if you do decide to get furniture from them don’t buy the warranty bs it’s a bunch of bs. They don’t give your money back if you don’t use the warranty like I was told at my purchase, it can only be applied to a new purchase in which I don’t need to purchase anymore furniture. I do not think you should shop here. I had to wait so long to get my beds and they said that it would not come in until August and it was april.i wasted so much time going around and around they aswell gave me a part of the bed and it had a nail in it and i could not get it out.

My experience with BADCOCK hasnt been very pleasant. Two weeks ago I started to look around for a living room set at Henderson store. Unfortunately I didnt think about the size so when they tried to deliver last Friday it wouldnt fit so I cancelled that order having to wait on my money for my refund which was ok. I drove to Raleigh store to see what they had and they the exact sectional that I needed. So my delivery was scheduled for the following Fri (2/15) low and behold I was sitting waiting so I called them nuts and they tell me that my order will be delivered on the 21st which Im not satisfied with that first,no one called to tell me anything, 2nd Ill be out of town, 3rd no explanation or apology, and keep in mind my other set is already gone and now have a empty room. The only good experience I had was I had a great salesman(Josiah).
We were never greeted when coming into shop. I actually never saw a sales person while we were in there for 20mins. The selection is ok. Prices are extreme though. I wouldnt recommend to anyone I know if they were needing help picking out their selection. Your own your own in this place lol

This store has terrible customer service, everyone in this location needs to be replaced. I ordered furniture from this location and paid cash had 3 delivery dates and the order is still messed up. This store doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
